I'm self-employed, mainly working from my home. I keep a good calendar schedule, so I work in dog and cat care when I don't have clients and meetings. It's a joy to be with dogs and cats. I love helping others, and I do my best to make it work.

My main concern is keeping the dogs and cats safe, calm, and loved. I'm very present in what I do. I make sure that the environment is free from anything that would harm them in any way whatsoever. I also find out what the pet's behavior is from the owner, for instance some owners don’t leave toys out when they aren’t there. I make sure, if that’s an issue, I put the toys out of their reach unless I’m right there with them at all times.

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally, when appropriate. We can have gentle play in the house, with a ball, or toy, or just being silly with them. I take them out side to sniff, play, maybe throwing a ball, although I usually keep them on the leash, and walk. I know how important exercise, play, and sniffing is for dogs. For cats, it’s mostly indoor play and fun with cat toys. Let me know what your pet’s favorite activity is.

Serving South Boulder/Northwest Broomfield Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on and trusted me to take good care of their dogs, drop in when they're gone, play with them, walk and feed them.I have worked with a couple of dog trainers for my rambunctious Golden Retriever, and have cared for senior dogs, when ill and into their last precious days. I’m a former massage therapist. I love to give animals a calming massage. In my days of owning a healing clinic, I was asked to help with a dog, which I said yes to. I had given many massages to dogs at that time. Of course, some cats love it too. There’s a special connection with touch.

Margie did a wonderful job with our cat Mackenzie. We are soooo grateful. Mackenzie is 19 years old and needed one pill per day, plus some cuddles to keep the stress of our absence down. We had detailed notes about his food needs, too. Margie was so kind and made sure he got his medicine, his food, and his cuddles. She sent us beautiful photos and we felt very reassured having her with him while we were out of town on a family emergency.
