About: I have had fur babies for the majority of my life. They are family so I value how a baby is treated! I love cuddling, slobbers and sneaking more treats than the parents. (Listens, uncles are supposed to spoil babies!) I work from home full time. I own a company so my hours, times are always flexible. I am able to stay your home if needed to make sure your baby feels safe and secure! Boarding is hard on a baby! I don't ever let a furbaby out of my sight, whether we are in a fenced yard or at the dog park. My main priority is making sure your baby is safe at all times. Given we live in a wildlife area, I'm always focused on making sure that there aren't any critters/predators around so your baby can enjoy their time.
“Adyson was so great! We were on vacation for two weeks and I asked her if she could walk the dogs once a day. She showed up every day giving me full trust our pups were taken care of. She is also very responsive. Thank you so much! Highly recommend her.”

“We asked Rachel to stop in and check in on our two dogs. She fed and medicated them, and let them outside. It let us go out for a night without worrying or speeding home. We really appreciated it.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10yrs old. It started with my neighbor, who had 20+ cats! I went and fed and scooped boxes anytime she was away. As an adult, I’ve worked almost exclusively with animals. I’ve worked in multiple animal hospitals and am currently a pooper scooper with tons of doggie friends! I’m comfortable administering medications including injections. I will love your furry family members! I am gone from the home about 8 hours on weekdays. I leave at about 7am and am home at about 2pm. Your dog will still be let out to potty during that time however, as my brother (an avid animal lover) works later hours and can give them a potty break while I’m gone. If I pet sit in your home, the pets will need to be able to wait for about 8 hours. If your pet stays in my home, they will have a fenced yard and will be let out every 4 hours. I am gone about 8ish hours to work personally, but both my husband and brother live in the home and work different hours. Your dog will be let out to potty whenever they need. We have one small friendly dog, and one large friendly cat. All dogs must be dog and cat friendly. Cats can be isolated in their own room away from our pets. If I am staying in your home, all pets must be able to be alone for about 8 hours at a time while I’m working.
About: I have years of experience taking care of animals of all kinds. I am a huge animal lover and always have been! I love taking dogs on walks and playing in parks! I can take care of any special needs or requests. I always carry a water bowl and treats with me. I have a very open schedule, I will do my best to accommodate all requests. I do not go away that often but I will make sure to reflect that if I do. I have a fenced in yard that has no dogs surrounding it and is very quiet. I also have a comfy chair that the dogs can sleep in
“Do yourself a favor and book Cassie. She is AMAZING with our three cats and sent us so many pictures and videos — it put huge smiles on our faces every day we were away!”

About: I grew up in the country and my family bred dogs since I was very little. We have always had a house full of pups and it will always be part of my life. I treat all pups like part of the family and will provide the most excellent care for your fur babes. I work from home so am always around. I have a doggie door if your pup can use it or can let them out at any time. Can add doggies to the dog park run club if they are able. We do daily walks around the neighborhood, too. Doggies can have their own room or be crated if needed. My home has a doggie door. Closed at night. And many separate rooms if needed for more exclusive needs. I work from home so am always around and can handle more complex needs or high energy. My house also has security cameras all around and locked and blocked fences, as well as great neighbors.
About: I’ve been around dogs and caring for them from a young age, so making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved has always come naturally to me. At 19, I began caring for dogs professionally through Wag, where I gained experience walking and caring for dogs of many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve worked with everything from small Chihuahuas to larger breeds like Pit Bulls, sometimes caring for multiple dogs in the same day. My experience goes beyond walks as well. I’ve provided in-home dog sitting and understand the trust and responsibility that comes with caring for someone’s pet and respecting their home. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, and I understand that every dog has different needs, energy levels, routines, and personalities. I take the time to get to know each dog and follow their owner’s instructions closely while still making our time together fun, loving, and enjoyable. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and longer periods of care when needed. My flexible schedule also allows me to work around each pet’s normal routine, so they can stay comfortable and receive the care and attention they’re used to. When caring for pets in my home, I live in a pet-friendly, first-floor apartment that makes getting outside for walks and potty breaks very convenient. While I don’t have a private backyard, my apartment community has two large dog parks within walking distance, right behind my building. The parks provide plenty of space for outdoor time, along with dog toys, fresh water fountains, and waste bags. I always follow each owner’s preferences regarding dog parks, interactions with other dogs, walks, and outdoor activities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine and the owner’s instructions as closely as possible. This includes feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications or special care instructions, and whether their pet normally stays in a crate or is allowed to roam freely. I also treat every client’s home with care and respect. Communication is very important to me, so whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, I’ll provide regular updates and photos. I can let you know when they’ve eaten, had water, gone outside, used the bathroom, how their walk went, and how they’re doing overall. I’m also happy to communicate beforehand about your pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs and arrange a meet-and-greet when needed so both you and your pet can feel comfortable before their care begins.
“We recently had Noel watch our two cats and she did a fantastic job! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly took great care of them. We came home to two happy, well-loved cats and a tidy space. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter!”

“It was such a relief to find Kayli before my trip abroad! She has been incredibly reliable on weekly walks when I’m in the office and then stayed with my two pups for 10 days. Kayli is warm and professional, and I was able to enjoy my trip knowing my furbabies are in good hands. She also took great care of my home and it was lovely to come home to it as I left it. Thank you, Kayli!”

“Jenna and Jason did a wonderful job caring for my sweet dog. They were on time, very kind, and asked all the right questions. My dog can be kind of skiddish, but they made her feel very comfortable. I will absolutely be asking them again to watch our sweet pup.”

“Sydney did a great job. She was willing to drop in for my dogs with short notice. She was flexible and kind, and our dogs loved her. She shared pictures with both drop ins, and the dogs were visibly happy and healthy. Thanks so much!”
About: Hi! I’m a dependable dog walker with 25+ years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I’ve provided trusted care for friends, neighbors, and new clients, including energetic puppies, large breeds, and senior dogs. Safety, patience, and understanding each dog’s unique personality are always my top priorities. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for on every walk. I currently work full time from 8-3:30 Monday through Friday caring for special needs high school students….Although it doesn’t pay enough, I still love it! Looking to supplement my income. I live in a pet-friendly apartment that is clean, safe, and comfortable, with plenty of space for relaxation and play. I’m happy to provide regular walks, exercise, and lots of attention to ensure your dog feels at home and well cared for.

“She had watched our cat before and she's still great! Thank you so much for taking care of lemon, she looks so happy! Will keep booking through her as she has been perfect!”

About: Stay at home doggie dad. Love all pets but dogs are the best. They are our kids and they are spoiled just like a that. They are the only thing we think about. Morning, noon or night they are by our side. Our babies. Never physical punishment but they do get time outs in their kennels if they have been misbehaving. We have a very open floor plan in the house which they run around and the back door is always open for them to come in and out. The back yard is very large with trees and shrubs that they play in and around. It is a fully fenced six foot enclosed yard with plenty of room to roam or run. Last of all no neighbor dogs to annoy them.
About: I have been around dogs since I was born and professionally as a side job for about 5 years. I have always loved animals and taken care of so many friends, siblings, neighbors, and coworkers animals. I love to be active and what better way than to be walking a dog. I also love to be a couch potato sometimes so I would love to just sit and hang out with your pets! I do have a normal 9-5 day job, and one dog of my own. He’s on the older side so not super high maintenance and I have a partner who also takes care of him when I’m not super available. My weekends are decently free and I also love to be active so would come walk your dog about any hour of the day. My dog and I have bounced around renting places with fenced yards and not fenced yards, so I do have experience with dogs on leash. I have Rover experience with dog walking as well as house sitting. My pup is so very important to me and I just have such a compassion for animals that I would love to share it with others pets while their owners are away or busy.
About: I love pups and pet sit for friends often! Just makes sense to dog sit for others too! My 12 year old daughter, Ellie & I love dogs of all ages and we do not have other pets so Rover is a great way to get our pup fix :) I work from home most of the week but go in on Wed/thurs so it’s good if pup can be home alone for awhile if needed! I usually work from home and my schedule is flexible! I like to bring pups with me on outings when I can but happy to leave them home as well, if preferred. I do have an 12 year old daughter who also loveees dogs but safety is #1 so if your dog isn’t great with children, I kindly ask to find another sitter :) I have a pretty large staircase leading up to my place and a set up stairs inside as well. Just want to give a heads up for any pups with hip considerations!
“MacKenzie loves Paige! We have had Paige do drop in visits when we are away for a long time. She feeds, walks, and gives medicine to our pup. She always sends pictures (good ones!) and is a great communicator.”

Trinity is absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! She took care of my dog, Margaux, as if she were her own and went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Trinity was incredibly kind, responsive, attentive, and so helpful throughout the entire experience. I felt completely at ease knowing Margaux was in such great hands. I will absolutely be booking with Trinity again! 🧡

Ava has been such a big help when we had to leave town for family emergency. My dog warmed up to her right away and he usually takes a minute. I can tell she didn’t just come by to let him out and feed him for a drop in, she played with him and made him feel loved which I really appreciate! She even volunteered to poop scoop in the yard what a rockstar

Noel was absolutely wonderful taking care of our dog, Ursula, during her drop in visits while we were away. She provided thoughtful updates and plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our favorite part was seeing Ursula’s silly personality shine through in the pictures. It was clear she felt comfortable, happy, and had so much fun with Noel. We came home to a happy, well cared for pup and could not have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely book with Noel again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable Rover.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
