Pet care experience
Like leaving your pup with a friend
I've been a dog owner for as long as I can remember. Now, in my adult life, I have three of my own pups (pit mix, aussie mix, and a chihuahua.) Back home in Arizona, I used Sittercity for in-home stays for several family's pets and nannied for one family's children as well. Along with dogs I also cared for and trained Quarter horses in my free time; so to say the least, large breed dogs are a breeze. Before moving to Colorado I spent three years in Central Wisconsin where I was a full-time pet sitter, dog walker & would board several dogs throughout the week in my home. Now as a part-time personal trainer living in Arvada, I'm looking to rebuild a clientele for dog walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and hosting dogs in our new home. Whether I'm at your house or they're with me in mine, I would like you to feel as if you're leaving your fur family with a trusted friend!

Schedule
My schedule allows me to be very flexible, with only short periods of having to be away to meet with clients for their sessions and or walks and drop-ins for other pets. I try my best to get all professional and personal errands done in a timely matter.

Safety, trust & environment
While staying in your home I like to keep a close eye on your pets to reassure everyone is safe and happy. I've never leave a home without checking to make sure everyone is accounted for, whether it's a short leave or my last time there before you come home. The same rule applies for dogs staying in my home. No dog is left unattended outside or inside. My husband works from home and is always there to help assist me in making sure everyone is having a fun & safe time while staying with us!
Pets
A typical day
Walks, runs, trail hikes, dog park, fetch, swims(weather permitted & with permission). Being an outdoor orientation person I plan to spend ample amounts of time enjoying nature with your pup. Everyone has a different preference to what they feel comfortable with, though. Having your dog stay within our/your home and yard is 100% OK with me!
