“Linda was wonderful — our pup Bella was in love from the moment she met her. Linda patiently answered all my questions and provided frequent updates. She also made this first-time Rover-er feel super comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to book her again!”

About: Grew up taking care of dogs, as well as having 2 of my own! Love going outdoors and on a paved sidewalk taking hikes and walks! I do have a fenced area as well. I can’t wait to take care of your furry friends! 🩷 I currently work fully remote. I am able to leave the house mainly at any time to let any dogs out, go on a walk, or work in another location if I’m house sitting. I am very open to following your pets routines. I am flexible and will work with you and your pets for whatever they need to thrive.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since a young age and have had dogs basically my entire life. I am reliable, caring, attentive, and trustworthy. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I have also have a sweet golden retriever, Topo who gets along great with other dogs! I work from home full time so can be very attentive to your dogs needs and routine. If I am out my partner also works from home so your pet will always have care! I have a two bedroom apartment with a dog run on the property and live in a great neighborhood for walks! I have easy access to parks around the neighborhood as well.
“Second time using Terri and it feels like she has been watching our cats for years. Our older cat Cosmo is usually standoffish with strangers, and even people he has known his whole life. But when Terri comes in he instantly goes to the room with his toys for play time. Our very first meeting our younger cat Goose jumped up on her lap (she never does this with us!). Terri is a cat whisperer and we love her. I feel like they don’t even seem phased by us going on vacation anymore. They love her so much and she clearly goes above and beyond in making them feel taken care of. Thanks so much Terri!!”

“Jen helped us out in a pinch and did more than we asked- seeing what needed to be done and proactively taking care of it! I felt so good knowing she was here for our babies!!”

“Madison was great! Our usual sitter was out of town and I'm so so glad Madison was able to watch our dog for the night. We didn't have to worry about her at all while we were away!”

“Sienna was great! Totally reliable and took amazing photos and videos every day. It was nice not having to worry about my girl while I was gone. I will definitely be using Sienna again in the future.”

About: I am a life long pet owner and animal lover of all kinds, I am trusted w friends and family’s pet and comfortable with different routines and pet personalities. I am available and flexible during the week, since I am transitioning between jobs and I can also be flexible on Saturdays. I am pretty open to what your needs require Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in my presence is very important to me. I like to take time for your pet to get used to me and will never force them to do anything they are clearly uncomfortable with. Before leaving a home, I always make sure they have water, they’re given a treat (I will fill a food bowl if necessary as well) and plenty of love and attention before I go.
“Charissa did such an amazing job with my 2 cats! She was on time and very informative at every visit. I had no stress knowing that she was checking on them everyday and never failed to give me updates and send me pictures. Will definitely hire her again in the future when I’m out of town.”

“I needed last minute help with my dog as I was going out of town. Hannah was quick to respond and set up a meet and greet. When she arrived, she immediately greeted my dog and got on the floor with her, giving her all the pets. She asked all the right questions and made me feel confident. Then, when my flight got cancelled, Hannah was super responsive and flexible with times/visits changing. She sent tons of photos and I could tell my pup felt comfortable with her, as did I.”

“Grace took the time to come meet the dogs before her first visit. She was attentive to our dogs specific needs and even our dog who is more sensitive to new people took to her quickly. Great communicator and easy to work with!”

“Greg’s service taking care of our cats was outstanding. His communication was always clear and friendly. Every visit was punctual and always came with plenty of photos. Our cats had a few accidents during our vacation, and Greg kept us informed and handled them appropriately. We would definitely try to use him again in the future and would recommend him to friends. Thank you! Best, Collin and Hayden”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wheat Ridge
We have been trusting Bethany to take great care of our fur babies for over 3 years and she has always done such a great job! Our dog and cats love her, and she is very accommodating with their special dietary needs. She is a lifesaver every time we need to head out of town!!

Anna was great with my high energy and nervous shepherd mix. He can bark and jump on new people but Anna was super receptive to my instructions to prevent this and was able to play with him, give him water, treats, and a potty break within 30 minutes. She was very responsive to my messages as well. She has lots of experience with foster dogs which is great for my high maintenance big boy.

Debra was great. Lots of communication and updates during the drop in. It’s always scary for me to leave my baby (yes, crazy dog mom status) with someone, but Debra made me feel at ease. We will definitely be using her again when I get over my fear of boarding.

Marissa has been my pups’ go-to sitter for several months now. She is incredibly attentive and they just love her - they are SO happy during her visits and it’s clear in the photos and vids she shares. Recently, one of my dogs needed administration of some meds as well as some extra attention with a cone of shame. Marissa handled everything wonderfully and I felt good knowing he was in trusted hands. BOOK HER, if you can!

Haley is helping us with our people nervous/shy pup and she is great! It is clear she understands dog body language and will meet the dog where they are at. Our pup, Finn, adjusted really well to Haley at our first meet n greet. Would highly recommend to anyone with a dog that needs a bit of extra care.

Hannah was wonderful with our three dogs over the weekend, and I couldn’t recommend her more! She kept us updated consistently and sent lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. One of our dogs, can definitely be a bit of a handful and doesn’t always warm up to people right away, but he absolutely adored Hannah. It was so clear that she was patient, attentive, and genuinely caring with all of them. We came home to three happy, well-cared-for pups and will happily book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
