About: I have about two years of hands-on pet care experience. For a year and a half, I volunteered at the Humane Society, where I learned how to read dog body language, handle different temperaments, and keep dogs safe and calm on walks. I also spent two years helping my parents raise and train our family dog, so I am very comfortable with basic training, positive reinforcement, and keeping routines consistent. Because of my shelter background, I am patient with shy or high-energy dogs, and I always prioritize safety on walks by avoiding stressful situations or unknown off-leash dogs. I am currently a freshman online student at CSU. Since I am adjusting to my first year of college, I treat pet care like structured, scheduled appointments rather than trying to do everything at once. I am already used to balancing my time because I regularly look after my aunt's dogs around my schoolwork. Because my classes are online, I don't have to commute, which gives me specific windows during the day for walks and check-ins. Because I complete most of my coursework on Mondays and Tuesdays, I have limited time that I can spend with housesitting those days, I will have to return home for about 3-6 hours to study on Mondays and Tuesdays if I am housesitting. Safety is my main focus because of my background volunteering at the Humane Society. That experience taught me to always be alert, double-check leash attachments, and watch for warning signs in a dog's body language before any issues happen. On walks, I keep a tight grip on the leash, look out for hazards, and never let strange dogs approach or interact with your pup on the street. For house sitting, I respect your home completely and follow all your instructions regarding security and locked doors. I stick strictly to your dog's regular feeding and bathroom schedules to keep their stress levels low while you are away, and I will always send you quick photo updates so you know everything is going smoothly.

About: From a young age, I have loved dogs. My California cousins bred Afghans, and I absolutely adored being around all the puppies and dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds. Growing up, I had a Royal Standard Poodle and an English Setter. As an adult, we have had labs. My husband and I trained our labs and I will be happy to provide consistent training if you wish. I am well aware of the crazy energy active dogs have and know how to provide activities to keep them happy. I am an avid hiker and can provide whatever your dogs need for fun and exercise. And truly, if they just want companionship, I love reading with a dog happily snoring. As a retired teacher, I have tons of flexibility. I do also think pets have their own routine, so my flexibility gives allowance for adapting to the dog's needs. Pets will have the ability to access our backyard and not stress about being lonely. Based on the dog and owner, I am able to accommodate to the pet's needs. I can walk/hike with those that need exercise. I am home much of the day as well. I have a large, fenced in backyard as well

About: I grew up with veterinarians for parents and was always in and out of their clinic and over the years I've learned so much about pet health especially for dogs and cats, I love all animals and Im really looking forward to keeping your pets happy and healthy with plenty of love and safety. You'll never have to worry whether you baby is safe when Im watching them or walking them, I will be very careful, safe, nice and most of all make sure you pet is happy and HYDRATED, with plenty of approved treats. Im a senior at Colorado School of Mines so I have many gaps in my day & available to do multiple visits a day if needed! I do not offer pet sitting within my own home, but I am very respectful when in the homes of others. I have been pet sitting and baby sitting for many years.

About: Hi! I am an avid pet lover and grew up with a big floofy dog in my household. I love to go for long walks or run (pending if doggo is capable). I am currently in nursing school so if not in class, I will be home studying and would love to have a companion by my side. I love going for long walks/run a few times a week and if able would love to take the dog along! I have school a few days a week in the morning but otherwise will be free to hang with a pet while studying or to pop in for a quick study break walk!
