About: From a young age, I have loved dogs. My California cousins bred Afghans, and I absolutely adored being around all the puppies and dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds. Growing up, I had a Royal Standard Poodle and an English Setter. As an adult, we have had labs. My husband and I trained our labs and I will be happy to provide consistent training if you wish. I am well aware of the crazy energy active dogs have and know how to provide activities to keep them happy. I am an avid hiker and can provide whatever your dogs need for fun and exercise. And truly, if they just want companionship, I love reading with a dog happily snoring. As a retired teacher, I have tons of flexibility. I do also think pets have their own routine, so my flexibility gives allowance for adapting to the dog's needs. Pets will have the ability to access our backyard and not stress about being lonely. Based on the dog and owner, I am able to accommodate to the pet's needs. I can walk/hike with those that need exercise. I am home much of the day as well. I have a large, fenced in backyard as well

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was young. I’ll take care of your fur baby like they’re my own. Walks, hikes, and naps. We do it all! I can teach them any training as well if the pet parent suggests it! I own a hair studio and will be working most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If I have a dog to care for I will do my best to be working no more than six hours in a day. Before I leave, and when I come home I will be sure to let the dog out to go potty and eat, or go on a walk. I share an apartment with my cat Kali. Our environment is calm and restful. About: I’ve cared for friends dogs as well as my own. I make it a point to pay attention to every dog individually and accommodate for uniqueness. I know some overheat and get tired faster than others, some dogs suffer from chronic ailments, and some are extremely energetic. I’m here for all of it. I would love to visit your dogs to provide playtime and care, however I am not able to board or house them at my domaine.

I’m so excited to meet each pet with their different personalities and make accommodations to have them feel as comfortable as possible during the time you’re away. I currently have cats so we clean the litter box daily, provide time for play, fresh water and food daily. We also try out new enrichment toys often just to see what helps. When I had dogs growing up they were walked once or twice a day, backyard to play in and we would run around in together, also daily food and drink as well as comfortable places to sleep.
