“Kristina was terrific. My older dog loved her, and she took him on the walks he loves. She also left the lights on for us when we returned well after dark…very considerate.”

About: I’ve taken care of puppies to elderly dogs starting when I was 11. I love all animals and have cared for many from extremely anxious dogs to very active ones. I’m home from college for the summer and have a lot of free time, I would love to spend my summer with your adorable pets! Over my years of experience I have watched dogs in different settings (their home and mine) but I often find they are more comfortable in their home, especially if they are naturally more anxious animals.
About: I have 5+ years of experience pet & housesitting! I have watched animals of all kinda and all ages providing me with a broad range of experience! I grew up fostering dogs constantly and love taking care of other people’s pets to get my animal fix since I currently don’t have one of my own! I currently live in the Lower Highlands area and work in Evergreen, CO Tuesdays - Saturdays from 9-5 with some flexibility for lunch time check ins and remote work! I love animals so much and am a homebody after work & would love to help care for your fur babies! I prefer to watch in the clients home as I feel the animal is most comfortable in its home environment! I consider myself to be a very neat and clean individual and always respect others spaces.
“Amy is great! She is reliable and excellent at communicating. She always sends me pictures of my dog when she visits and lets me know how she’s doing. I’m so glad I found her to check in on my girl while I’m at work.”

About: Day care: I have a fully fenced one acre land, so your dogs can spend the whole day running an around & playing outside! I have tons of toys scattered throughout the space. I also have four large kennels where dogs can eat their meal privately & safely. I will give your dogs a lot of love and attention like my own. For drop in visits: I am strong and love dogs so much. I currently have two dogs who are high energy and I always make sure to take them out for the type of walk they need everyday and exhaust them for the day! I have a truck of my own with a camper set up for dogs- a mat and dog beds so the dogs wil always be comfortable when riding. I am open to taking them to a hiking trail and ensuring they get their needs met because I personally understand how important it is. I am pretty strong and know what it takes to handle large dogs. I’m currently on my maternity leave and need some money to make ends meet! So my schedule is very flexible. If your dog can handle it- i can bring a stroller while I take your dogs out. If not, I’ll wait until my partner gets off from work (schedule varies) and I’ll take your dogs out. As I’ve mentioned, the back of my truck is designed for dogs- a 5 feet bed with camper shell, a mat, and dog beds, and screen windows. So I can easily take them out for a good walk around a trail!
About: Growing up on a farm made me love all kind of animals. When I got my own place my fur family grew. I have a dog (sadly our sweet boy passed) and 4 cats if I could have a whole zoo I probably would. As a stay-at-home mom and future real estate professional, I spend most of my days at home with my little one. My flexible schedule allows me to give pets lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and care throughout the day. We have a small fenced area perfect for potty time and a huge unfenced in backyard that we share with our neighbors for running around and playing. We love taking our dogs on walks and to the dog park and would love for your fur baby to join. We have a beautiful walking path that I go on most days. When caring for your dog at your home I am respectful of your home just like I would like someone to be at my home.
“Heather did such a great job taking care of our two kitties. She was very good at keeping them happy and also went above and beyond bringing in packages and cleaning up! We highly recommend Heather :)”

“Sthefany and Jeshael watched my dog the last couple of days. Prior to the drop in visits we did a meet and greet. Both girls are so sweet!! My dog is very shy and they were so patient with her. She eventually warmed up! They seem very knowledgeable about dog sitting. I have already booked them for future visits.”

“Matt and Aya did a phenomenal job looking after our dogs. They came on time for each check in and even stayed longer at visits to get our dogs warmed up to them and gave them lots of attention. Will absolutely hire them again to care for our fur babes! Thanks Matt and Aya!”
“Alyssa is great with our 2 cats! We needed an emergency visit while we were away and she went out of her way to give them extra love and treats. Will always book with Alyssa!”

About: I give animals the affection and respect they deserve, and I know each dog or cat is unique in both their personality and needs. I'm happy to go for runs, long walks, play in the yard, or keep a safe eye - whatever you and your dog/cat needs, I'll do my best to accommodate. I've had animals around all my life and have had quite a bit of training from my sister, who's a licensed veterinarian. I've cared for special needs pets for several years and worked for a dog walking company while running my own business. I was also a licensed massage therapist for over 8 years and volunteered at clinics to give pet massages. I'm off Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and work Fri through Sunday in Black Hawk. On the days that I work, I make sure to have enough time for myself and for the pups, whether they need a walk or just play time before I leave. When I meet with you, I follow your pace and schedule in how you care for your pet(s). If you tell me she can't be outside without a leash, I'll have her harness and leash on before the door opens :) I'm attentive and pay attention to details, so if something seems off I'll be sure to message with a photo (if needed).

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Evergreen
Emily was so caring for our girls (2 dogs and 1 cat). Sadly our English bulldog ended up getting very anxious and missing us and had a lot of unforeseen issues and potty accidents. Emily was so capable of handling everything thrown her way, communicated it to us in a calm and respectful way, and really went above and beyond. We would HIGHLY recommend Emily for your Rover needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Evergreen with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
