About: I live in the Evergreen area and work in Golden, and I spend a lot of time outside running and hiking, so I’m a great match for dogs who have some energy and need more than just a quick walk. I’m super reliable, easygoing, and I pay attention to the little things, whether that’s sticking to your dog’s routine or just making sure they feel comfortable while you’re gone. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and getting them outside, so it never feels like a chore. Happy to help with walks, drop-ins, or sitting, whatever you need! I live in Evergreen and work at a running store in Golden during the week (and some weekends), but I have a flexible schedule and am available at different times throughout the day. I can usually make mornings, afternoons, or evenings work depending on what you need. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and relaxed. I pay attention to feeding, walks, and any specific instructions you give. I’m very mindful on walks and always prioritize safety. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and consistent. I also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands.

About: Hi there! I'm Kat and would love to help you when you need pet care! I am an animal lover at heart, and I know how hard it can be to find care for fur babies. I can do dog sitting for dogs of all ages and needs. For boarding, all I ask is that your dog is friendly so that they get along with mine. I have a 5 year old lab-great dane mix, and he is such a gentle giant. For sitting, I am happy to come to you! For walking, I can walk dogs of all ages and needs, and am happy to also take your dog for a run! About: I have had pets my entire life and experience with all types of dogs. I’ve raised and trained many puppies, adopted rescue dogs and cared for aging dogs with various medical needs. Currently I have a very mellow and gentle 8 year old neutered male Great Pyrenees mix and a sweet playful and energetic 3 year old spayed female Chocolate Lab. I believe our animals are more than just pets. They are our best friends and beloved family members. I am an entrepreneur currently between projects and have full flexibility to schedule my time around caring for pets. I live near National Forest access and able to take pets for walks and hikes in the woods. I have my own 100 pound Black Russian terrier, Thea who is my baby. •I am also very comfortable with watching and walking intact dogs. As I know the importance of a large breed staying intact until they are fully mature. I have experience caring for dogs in heat, and understand the behavior change that occurs in the dog experiencing it and the potential for it to effect male dogs around. • I am happy to help with potty breaks throughout the day, walks, bathes, basic training, and preparing specialty meals for your puppy! I am not a dog trainer but I am more than comfortable and capable of helping with basic training for dogs and puppies, such as, potty training, recall, on leash walking, and basic commands (sit, stay, down, etc) • I do love big dogs, but I would be ecstatic to help with your puppy or small dogs, since my dog has grown up, I don’t get to experience having a little pup/dog around. • Socialization is great for dogs but can be hard to trust when you don’t know a dogs temperament or vaccination status. If you are looking for your dog to have social activity with a well behaved, healthy dog Thea would be more than happy to join a walk or play date. I am currently a student taking online classes, so my availability is open. I am very flexible and more than happy to be on your schedule! I have a fenced yard and my own dog is extremely friendly with other animals including small dogs. Inside of my home I do not leave things laying around that could potentially harm my own dog or others. My kitchen is clean and I don’t leave food out so a dog getting into something they shouldn’t would be very hard.

They set up a meet & greet initially and had both dogs responding very nicely by the end of the visit. We booked for an extended Drop-in visit which went very well with a detailed activity report and a couple of pictures. All of my 'dog parent with a new sitter' instructions were taken seriously. About: I've watched pets on and off since I was an adolescent. I am a go-to for my family, watching several dogs. In my teens and 20's I would house sit the pets of relatives. I will be working around my schedule, providing availability mornings and late afternoons. I am also available weekends. I commute for work throughout the front range corridor and flexible in the areas west and north of Lakewood. I can be available to drop in on pets, whether walking or just dropping in. In either scenario, we can meet and make sure you and your cat/dog are comfortable. I am comfortable walking small and medium-large dogs. I am also comfortable with returning the dog/puppy to their crate or preferred area.

About: I grew up in a home with two dogs and a cat, so taking care of animals has always been a normal and important part of my life. From a young age, I was responsible for things like feeding them, making sure they had fresh water, taking them outside, cleaning up after them, playing with them, and giving them the attention they needed. Growing up with animals taught me that pets really are part of the family and that taking care of them takes consistency, patience, and a lot of love. As I’ve gotten older, animals have continued to be a big part of my life. I currently have my own dog and have had the opportunity to care for dogs through different stages of their lives. I’ve also lived with roommates who had pets and have always been happy to take care of their animals when they were traveling. I’m comfortable keeping up with their normal routines, feeding them, taking them outside, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Caring for older dogs is especially meaningful to me. I had the experience of caring for my childhood dogs as they got older, and being there for them during the later stages of their lives taught me a lot about patience and compassion. I learned that senior dogs can sometimes need a little extra attention and understanding as their routines and abilities change. My current dog is now getting into his middle-age years, so I’m continuing to learn how to recognize and adjust to his changing needs as well. Overall, caring for animals has been a lifelong part of my experience, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and I think it’s important to get to know each animal individually. I would treat every pet in my care with the same patience, attention, and love that I would want someone to give my own dog. I currently work part time and am a full time student. For work, I am on full days M-W 8:30AM to 5:30PM. Thursdays I work half days 8:30AM to 1PM. F-Sun I'm home full time and so is my fiancé. Once of us is always home to take care of our fur baby throughout the week and if for some reason we are not, we have 'grandparents' that are able to watch him. My schooling is self guided and completely online! From M-W I would not be able to stay overnight, however, if your fur baby needed an evening walk, I'd be happy to come over and make sure they get their evening exercise. Thurs-Sun I'm available to stay overnight as all would need is Wi-Fi to ensure I can do my schooling! I care for every pet with the goal of making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Before caring for a new pet, I like to speak with the owner and, whenever possible, meet both the owner and their pet beforehand. This gives me the opportunity to learn about their personality, daily routine, feeding and exercise schedule, behaviors, and any special instructions. It also gives the pet a chance to become familiar with me before I’m caring for them, which I believe helps them feel much more comfortable having someone new in their space. If I were to take your pet to a park or other outing with my own dog, I would also ask that the dogs meet beforehand. Ideally, I prefer their first meeting to happen in a neutral, comfortable environment where they can get familiar with each other without feeling territorial or overwhelmed. This gives me the opportunity to see how they interact and allows both dogs to develop a level of comfort with one another before spending extended time together. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and focus on maintaining the pet’s usual routine. This includes feeding and providing fresh water, walks and exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, medication or other care when needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also make sure to keep their environment clean and tidy, including cleaning up after them. When caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to how they interact with my own dog and make sure each pet has the space and supervision they need. I’m especially mindful of older pets or animals that may need a little extra patience, rest, or assistance.
