I also make sure litter boxes are clean, feeding is on schedule, and everything stays as close to their normal routine as possible.

They can be a little much at first (training is always a work in progress) but love people and other dogs. I volunteered as a trainer for a service dog training program, and have cared for animals since I was a child. I also work with horses, so I am very comfortable working with any and all animals. We frequent the dog park, enjoy hiking, and are more than happy to bring your pup with us if you're comfortable! I crate trained all of my dogs, so I am easily able to crate your dog if needed. I am very flexible and committed to providing your pup with care that you are comfortable and happy with. I am a bar manager and go to work at 9 AM at the earliest. I can be home anywhere from 4 to 10 PM, but my boyfriend gets home at 6 PM so your pup will get plenty of snuggles in the morning and the evening. I typically have Sundays and Mondays off. I have a large, entirely fenced-in yard so your pup will have plenty of space to run and play. The entrance to the yard is a large staircase with no backs on the steps. If your pup is insecure on stairs, there is a side entrance to my yard that they can use. My three dogs are energetic, friendly, and love making new friends. It's important to me to bond with each of the dogs in my care so they know that they are safe and cared for. About: My childhood dream job was to become a zookeeper. I did everything I could to get close: volunteered at animal rescues, pet sat whenever possible, interned at a vet clinic. Plot twist: despite everything, I did not end up workin g at the zoo. Crates may be needed if they are unable to roam around the house alone. I have a large property, but it is unfenced, it is far from the road and our area is very very quiet, almost zero cars. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. There is a baby gate to keep your pet away from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - no exit route. Since I am home almost all the time, I can take your pet for a walk and let them keep me company at home on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends on length of stay requested).

About: I've had dogs ever since I can remember. I am a relaxed energy human with a caring nature and dogs are drawn to me! All pups I have had in my life were off leash trained and great listeners. I work from home most days besides a couple meetings in the office maybe once or twice a month. Currently we have 3 pups (one deaf partially blind) so I am comfortable with numbers. :) We have an extra large fully fenced in yard (around half an acre) with a dog door so pups can come in an out as they please. Pups will get plenty of attention and play to help tire them out and give them socialization. Plan for your pups to be pooped by the end of their time in our home. I am available for doggy daycare from 8:30-3:30 on available days in calendar. Kiddos after school activities then pile up after this. Should you need to pick up your pup after 3:30, we can coordinate snagging your pup from the yard through our gate. :) I have an extra large dog crate for any overnight needs if your pup is crate trained. My 3 pups are playful, friendly, and well socialized. They are out all day with me but can be rotated in and out of the rooms if your pups needs some space or quiet.
