“Barbara was so sweet and kind to Leia. She let Leia explore her house and her yard (which Leia loves) and took care of her. Leia loved her time with Barbara and another dog Barbara was sitting. Barbara also constantly kept us updated with pictures. Leia had the best time in Colorado at Barbara's place.”

“Jenn took such great care of Lucy dog while we were out of town. She sent lots of pictures and updates. Lucy was welcomed into Jenn’s and was allowed to make herself feel right at home.”
“Bailey loved her stay with Kristin and Brant. It was nice to leave her where she had free run of the house and huge yard. The two dogs that they have are friendly and put up with Bailey's high energy. I got pictures and updates while out of town and it was comforting to know that Bailey was sleeping and eating well. I highly recommend them!”

“Kari was a great host for our dogs. Her updates were frequent and just what we needed to keep us informed. They had a great time and we will definitely work with Kari again. Thank you.”

“Jen has taken great care of both of our dogs for a very reasonable price several times and we will definitely keep booking with her. She sends us lots of photos and communication about the dogs while we’re away and they’ve both been very happy and relaxed after staying with her.”

“Thank you for watching Sky & Moose! Chelcee and Alexander were very communicative and we felt at ease leaving them in their care. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area looking for dog sitters and will definitely be returning to them in the future!”

“High praise for Nicole, Craig and family! Our Cozmo's first stay with this lovely family was a great success. He's kind of a homebody and mostly just wants to be near his humans, but he settled in very quickly. In fact, it almost seemed like he wanted to stay longer when we arrived to pick him up. We appreciated Nicole's excellent communication and flexibility with our schedule. We will definitely return. Thank you so much!”

“We are very happy with our second experience with Mitzi. Great communication daily with pictures and details on how our dog was doing exceptional space at their home for dogs with very experienced caregivers”

“Our first experience with Brenda was outstanding! We could not be more pleased with the care she gave our 14-year-old Double Doodle, Roxie. And Roxie had a great time also. Brenda has now become our first choice to care for Roxie when we are away.”

“Clara spent a full week with Allie and Jason while we were out of the country and we felt so comfortable she was in good hands! Allie is the best communicator sending all necessary updates and also lots of fun pictures. They also take Clara on hiking/walking adventures and wear her out which we appreciate 😅Can’t recommend them enough!”

“So impressed! My furry best friend clearly bonded with both Victoria and her little boy. She listened to details regarding all of my dog’s needs and sent pictures and updates along the way so that I knew everything was going well. I’m grateful to her for her special care of my pup!”

“Our dog Pippin had the greatest time staying with Julia and her fellow dogs! Pictures and updates came through out the duration of pippins stay. We will be coming back for the next trip we take!”

“I'm so lucky I found Kaylee at the last minute to take care of my sick pup. We were headed out for spring break right when he came down with kennel cough, and she stepped in without hesitation. Kaylee took such great care of him. She sent daily pictures and updates, which really eased my worries. I appreciated her so much.”

“Tyler took exceptional care of my dog while I was out of town. I got frequent pictures throughout the day of my pup having the time of his life! Apollo was exhausted when I got back from playing, and going on walks everyday. He’s a great person and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was gone. I would 1000% recommend Tyler to watch your dog. I will be reaching out again the next time I have to go out of town!”

“Thank you so much for taking great care of our pups! They are worn out!❤️ And they smell so good! Thank you for bathing them, too! We are looking forward to having you watch them again!❤️”

“I booked Jennifer’s onboarding service for my pups over July 4th weekend and the overall experience was wonderful. The meet and greet was held at her house which I appreciated because I wanted to make sure my pups would feel comfortable. Jennifer was mindful and attentive to my pups needs and gave updates whether it’s a message or picture! Our dogs got along and I could tell my pups had a fun time!”

About: I've been a devoted dog lover since childhood when my mom would take in strays and rescues from the streets. I helped groom, train, love, and care for these sweet souls. Today, I work as a part-time substitute school teacher but find that I need more four footed companionship and outside time in my life, so I'd love to be your go to dog walker on my days off. I've always helped my friends and neighbors with their dogs (walking or pet sitting), and I'm good big dogs and little dogs. With 20+ years of teaching experience, you know that I have oodles of patience and consistency to rely on, and lots of caring and affection to give. Please let me help you give your pets the care and attention that they need when you're at work or on vacation! I'm working part time as a substitute teacher--this means that I generally work 3 days a week, and am often home by 3:30. I have afternoons available for longer walks and play-time. I am not able to board dogs in my own home, but in your home I can make sure that your dog or cat has the kind of love and care that they are used to whether they are an inside dog or outside. Walking is one of my favorite activities so I'm there to make sure that you're dog and myself are getting the exercise we need!

“Kara recently did drop-in visits for my cat Pickles. Kara did an excellent job taking care of Pickles, ensuring she was fed, and given plenty of attention. I really appreciated the detailed updates she provided after each visit, which gave me peace of mind while I was away.”
“Danielle was an absolutely fantastic sitter for our cats while we were away! She made sure to give all the details of how they were doing and sent lots of great pics. She was also easy to communicate with and answered any questions right away. We will be using Danielle as our go-to sitter in the future! Highly recommend!”

About: Your dog gets a half-acre fenced yard on two acres, and a gate that opens straight onto open space and trail. No loading up in a car to find a walk, we step out the door and go. For a big dog with a real engine, that’s the whole difference. I have two labs of my own, a male and a female, both social and easy, so your dog has company and a pack to fall into rather than a crate and a quiet house. I’ve been boarding for friends and neighbors for 10, and I know what a bored 70-pound dog does to a living room, which is why exercise comes first here, not as a bonus. Good fit for: large breeds, working and sporting dogs, adolescents with too much energy, dogs who don’t do well kenneled. Not a good fit for: dogs who can’t be around other dogs, or who need to be kept separate. I’d rather say that up front than have anyone spend a bad weekend. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits for locals who’d rather keep their dog at home. Same approach, a walk here means actual miles on real terrain, not fifteen minutes on pavement. Daily photos and a note, usually from somewhere on the trail. I work from home, so dogs aren’t alone for long stretches, I’m here through the day and the routine is built around that. Mornings start with a walk on the trail behind the house before I sit down to work. I leave the doors open so that dogs are able to go in and out of the fenced yard through the day while I’m at my desk, with a midday break for a longer outing. Late afternoon is the real hike, when my two labs go out and your dog goes with them. Evenings are quiet, everyone’s tired by then, which is the point. I do take calls during the day, so there are stretches where I’m at my desk rather than actively playing, but the dogs are with me, not shut away. Weekends are more of the same with longer hikes and no calls Containment: My yard is a half-acre fully fenced, on two acres backing to open space. Gates stay latched and I check them before any dog goes out. Dogs are never off-leash on the open space unless the owner has confirmed reliable recall and I’ve seen it myself on a long line first, otherwise we hike on leash, every time. In the house: Dogs are loose in the main living area with me and my two labs, not confined to a garage or basement. I have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or you’d prefer it, and I’m happy to keep whatever routine they already have. New dogs and mine are introduced outside on neutral ground before anyone comes in the house. Requirements: Up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. I ask for your vet’s contact and a backup person who can make decisions if I can’t reach you. Wildlife: We’re in the foothills, so coyotes, bears, and mountain lions are part of the landscape. Dogs go out into the fenced yard supervised, not unattended, and I don’t leave food or water bowls outside. Nobody is out in the yard alone at dawn or dusk. If something goes wrong: I’ll call you first, but I won’t wait on a callback to get a dog treated. My work is in wildfire and emergency planning, so I keep an evacuation plan for my own dogs including crates, leashes, records, and a go-bag ready and any boarding dog is included in it if there is an emergency.

About: I’ve cat sat before and I’m very comfortable with cats of all personalities. I know some are social and playful, and others prefer their space, and I’m good at reading that and adjusting. I’m patient, calm, and not overwhelming, which tends to work really well with cats. I’m happy to play if they want attention, or just keep things quiet and consistent if that’s what they prefer. I also make sure litter boxes are clean, feeding is on schedule, and everything stays as close to their normal routine as possible.

“Sterling did a great job watching the cats while I was out of town! She was able to give medication each day, made sure they had food and time to play, and sent lots of photos to keep me updated!”

“I couldn't have felt more comfortable having Amber take care of my fur babies. She was amazing, communicative, flexible, and the dogs were smiling in early pic with pure joy. Highly recommend.”

“Tenja was great! She checked in regularly, so we were confident that our kitties were being well taken care of. She stayed over and took great care of the house as well. We came home to a spotless kitchen and all the dishes were washed. What a treat! We hope Tenja will be available next time we need to go out of town without our kitties.”

About: Hi there! I'm Kat and would love to help you when you need pet care! I am an animal lover at heart, and I know how hard it can be to find care for fur babies. I can do dog sitting for dogs of all ages and needs. For boarding, all I ask is that your dog is friendly so that they get along with mine. I have a 5 year old lab-great dane mix, and he is such a gentle giant. For sitting, I am happy to come to you! For walking, I can walk dogs of all ages and needs, and am happy to also take your dog for a run! I will be sure to send lots of updates during your dogs stay :) I will update my calendar if I’m not available. I am taking care of my own dog everyday and would love to help you take care of yours! For boarding in my home, I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks. I also make sure to walk my dog everyday at least once a day, and would do the same for you!
“Patricia took such great care of my rabbit, Simon! I loved that as soon as I contacted her, she made plans to meet me and Simon before I left for my trip. I left feeling at ease that Simon had a great sitter taking care of him. She is very communicative and caring!”

“Lukas and Copper fell in love with Jenn as soon as we arrived! They were quite comfortable staying when I left them for the day. When we picked them up they were relaxed and not trying to leave right away!! Fantastic meet and greet.”

About: I’ve been raising, fostering and rescuing dogs for the past 13 years. I’ve been through all the dog life stages and dealt with all varieties of dog behavioral and medical issues. Everyone I know says that in their next life they want to come back as one of my dogs-spoiled to no end! I work for myself and mostly from home so I am very flexible with my schedule and my ability to spend a lot of quality time with you dog. Also, I have about 10 fenced in acres up in the mountains that is a great place to bring you pup for some off leash playtime if that’s something you’re interested in I have a lot of space in my home and also over 10 fenced in acres to explore (with supervision, of course). Outdoor play/ walk time at my house can be on or off lease depending on what you are most comfortable with

About: My childhood dream job was to become a zookeeper. I did everything I could to get close: volunteered at animal rescues, pet sat whenever possible, interned at a vet clinic. Plot twist: despite everything, I did not end up workin g at the zoo. Instead, I became the weirdo who'd rather hangout with the pets at house parties and I've never met a furry friend I didn't like, even the "challenging" one. I've got my own little family of fur babies: been a cat mom for the last 9 years. And last year, adopted a senior dog who is a dream wrapped in floof. I don't have formal training credentials, but I am obsessed with how to tend to our furry friends with attunement and compassion. I work from home which means your pet has company most of the day and I do my best to help them feel at home wherever they are. Pet care fits naturally into my WFH routine. I'm available/ flexible throughout the day, with good weekend availability as well. I have some fixed commitments that shift week to week, but I keep my calendar current and won't book what I can't fully show up for. My home is a quiet, nature-forward neighborhood in Evergreen, nestled in the kind of place where a walk around the block feels like a small adventure. No fenced yard, but since I work from home, we make up for it with frequent neighborhood walks throughout the day. For boarding, I tailor the setup to your pet. Some dogs get full run of the space. Others do better with a slower introduction and defined zones. I follow your lead and theirs. My own crew: one very social senior dog who has a particular gift for putting nervous dogs at ease, and two cats who are more selective. If your pet and my cats need space from each other, we have the rooms to make that work comfortably. I'll always ask about your pet's needs, quirks, and preferences before they arrive. The goal is for them to feel at home.
About: I grew up with big dogs all my life (mastiffs specifically), which sparked my love for animals. From about May 2021 to August 2022 I fostered rescue animals, and in that time, I was able to help ~50 different animals. How did I do that exactly? Well, my house was a small shelter, as some people liked to call it, we had an open-door policy for any animal in need. With that being said, I have had experience with big dogs, small dogs, energetic dogs, reactive dogs, scared dogs, tripods, entire herds of puppies and kittens etc. There really was not a dog I couldn't handle, and I loved them all. Now I foster for a big dog rescue so my specialty is the XL doggies. I have a Great Dane foster fail of my own now. In addition, I have had endless experience giving dogs/cats medicine and know every dog has their quirks, so really nothing will surprise me or be too much. ASK ME ABOUT MY ANIMAL WEDDING CONCIERGE SERVICES Currently home 24/7 so I can attend to all your pets needs. Me and my dog engage in daily walks; regular exercise can be expected. Dogs: To ensure safety, I can feed dogs separately or crate them during mealtime—whatever works best based on your preference. For flight-risk or reactive dogs, I take proactive measures to prevent issues before they arise. While your dog plays or goes potty, I’ll stay outside with them to ensure no one tries to escape or gets overly feisty. I’m also mindful of maintaining a hazard-free environment by keeping items like toxic plants, choking hazards, or unsafe materials out of reach. Every dog has unique quirks, so I’ll always ask about your pup’s personality and the best ways to accommodate their needs. Dog walking: I prioritize safety by keeping a respectful distance from unfamiliar dogs, as it’s impossible to know how friendly or healthy they are. To keep walks engaging and fun, I like to explore different routes, providing new experiences each time. I adjust to your dog’s pace, whether they prefer a casual stroll or a brisk walk. Additionally, I allow your dog plenty of time to sniff and explore, which is mentally stimulating and helps them return home relaxed. I stay alert to ensure their surroundings are safe throughout the walk. During hot weather, I’m cautious about pavement temperatures, testing surfaces with my hand and avoiding asphalt to keep your pup comfortable and safe. Cats: For cats, safety is my top priority. If your feline friend is an escape artist, I’ll be extra vigilant to prevent any breakouts. If your cat tends to nibble on things they shouldn’t, I’ll make sure their environment is safe and free of hazards. I have experience caring for cats of all ages and needs, including administering medication when necessary. I also strive to create a calm, stress-free environment by maintaining their routine and respecting their unique preferences. Safety, Trust & Environment: I always ensure your pet’s environment is clean, comfortable, and free of hazards. Food and water bowls are refreshed regularly, and I create cozy spaces for rest and play. If I’m administering medication, I follow your instructions exactly to ensure your pet’s health and safety. Communication and trust are central to my care. I’ll provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I take the time to build a relationship with your pet, ensuring they feel secure and happy in my care. Whether your pet is full of energy or prefers quiet time, I tailor my approach to meet their needs and provide enrichment to keep them content.
“Definitely recommend and will use Brandi again to look after my dogs. I was able to go to work with a great sense of peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in exceptional hands. 6 stars if I could!”

About: I am an animal lover that works from home, so I will always be around. I'm just looking to help you care for your pets while you are away. No complicated stuff or pricey add-ons here! About me - my husband and I have owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I love animals, have plenty of experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, camping trips and picnics if your pet is able to join. It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends on length of stay requested).
About: Many years of house and pet sitting in a variety of locations and with multiple animals. I value giving care with love and knowing my clients can feel safe and comfortable leaving their pets with me! I currently do not have pets so this will help to fill the void in my heart until the day I can have one of my own. Thank you in advance!! Brings joy to my day! I am devoted to creating the time to care for your pets. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate you and your pets needs. I am attentive and caring in nature, I will make sure whatever needs of each individual pet are, they are met. I am fun, adventurous and respectful to not only what the pet needs but how the client wants the pet to be taken care of.

“Amy worked us in last minute for daycare for our two dogs. Allowed us to have a great trip to the mountains on July 4th. The dogs were excited to see us at pickup, but I don't think they really wanted to come home.... Great service. Thanks Amy.”

“Large yard for our dog to play and run around, he had a great time and was tired when he got home. Danielle sent pictures throughout the day, I would definitely recommend her.”

“Cara is great! Rowdie loves her and gets super excited when I say “want to go see Cara”. She is flexible and sends me pics during the day of Rowdie playing and having a great time. Highly recommend!”

“Steven was awesome with my pup! Lots of walks for my active girl Kira to all the good parks. He sent a bunch of really good update photos/texts too! I’ve noticed her leash makers have gotten better since he has been watching her too which is super nice. Steven went out of his way to make sure my dog got her exercise which is huge for her and I don’t have to worry about her when I’m at work. Highly recommend!”

About: I owned and cared for pets my whole life and know that every animal deserves to feel safe, comfy and loved while you're away. I offer boarding in a cam, caring home as well as drop-in visits for cats and dogs. My schedule is very flexible, so I'm often available for same day or last minute bookings. I don't need advance notice, only for cancellations. Whether it's playtime, meals, meds, walks or just a little loving company. I'll treat your pet like my own. My goal is for you to have peace of mind and for your pet to have the care and attention they deserve. I live 15 minutes from Chatfield dog park and am more than happy to take your dog there for walks and exercise. Pet care is already part of my day. I build my routing around feeding times, walks, play breaks, and quick check-ins. I'm used to adjusting my schedule, so pets get steady care and attention throughout the day, and I keep owner updated as I go. In my home, I create a calm, safe space. I have a 6" fenced yard for play, a pet friendly dog and cat for company, and can crate your dog if that's what they need. When I'm in a clients home, I stick closely to your pet's routine, meals, walks, meds, and lots of attention, so things feel consistent. And if your pup loves adventures, I'm just 15 minutes from Chatfield Dog Park and happy to take them out for safe, fun exercise. I focus on clear communication and regular updates so you feel completely at ease while you're away.

About: I've owned dogs my whole life and am very knowledgeable of how to train and care for them. I've owned many different pets from scaly friends to furry ones, both large and small. I have a great deal of knowledge of how to care for both puppies and older companions. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you! I currently work from home so I have plenty of time for your furry friends. I have two very friendly and well trained dogs that love having company. We also have a cat that gets along very well with them. I have plenty of space in my back yard that is enclosed by a 6ft fence. We (dogs & I) go for walks and have plenty of play time during the day. I feed my girls twice a day and give them treats once in a while. Neither of my girls are food or treat aggressive. I have a couple of neighbor kids who come over and love to play with and show love to my pets. All of the pets in my home are well loved and cared for.
“Courtney and Chris were great! Courtney had fast and excellent communication and cared for Luna well. I was even sent home with a painting my dog did, so cute. I’ll definitely use them again.”

“Miranda was very friendly and easy to work with. She was always quick to respond when I reached out and was available when we needed her. She sent photos and updates when I checked in and was sweet with our busy boy. We really appreciated her taking care of Lewis today!”

“Shawna was able to give Einstein and Hercules a walk with very short notice. She took care of the mutts and gave them plenty of relief. To boot, it sounds like she's going to be their new groomer. We're truly hoping that works out, as it's been difficult finding a good Havanese groomer since we moved to CO.”

“Stella was amazing. I needed her in a pinch of a family emergency and she went above and beyond for me and my two dogs. My dogs are not keen to strangers and Stella took the time to come meet my dogs before hand and went the extra mile for me in multiple occasions I’m truly grateful for her and her care of my dogs that loved her. I will definitely be using her again and so thankful to find her.”

“Amber has done a great job with our pups so far! They both seem very happy when we get home, we look forward to growing our relationship with her and her family. Thank you Amber!”

“Clay had an instant rapport with Bucky and, despite freezing weather, took him on a long walk around the neighborhood. We were very pleased with his efforts and hope to have him back soon. He is most pleasant and easy to work with.”

“Jillian has been a wonderful resource for us when we need help with our pups. She's reliable and flexible in accommodating schedule changes. But, most importantly, she's treats our really well, and they adore her and her family too.”

About: With a lifetime of animal love and care, I was most recently a doggie foster parent. This gave me experience with both behavioral and medical care, and raised my personal bar for doggie care. I truly enjoy the company of animals, and working predominantly from home, my partner and I are able to take breaks for walks and drop ins as needed! We have two SWEET dogs at home - who haven't met a dog they didn't love- that could join in the walk, or we could go solo with your pups! Working primarily from home, my partner and I are nearby for walks and visits. It's a win-win for us (and if wanted, our two sweet dogs!) to get outside and enjoy the fresh air! On the weekends I may leave the house between 1-4 hours at a time. I am a naturally empathetic persom, so it's important to me that your feels loved, secure, and has a blast on our walks and visits!
About: I have experience caring for and loving on dogs, cats, turtles, birds.. you name it.. for about 22 years. I grew up with a mother who worked in a pet store, so caring for pets of all shapes and sizes has always been the name of the game! Animals (especially dogs!) have always been a priority and giving them the utmost care and attention is perhaps one of my favorite activities. I’d love to be a part of your pet’s life! I work for myself as an artist and yoga instructor and set my own schedule - so I can be completely available for whatever your babe’s needs are! I have two very friendly dogs that would love to keep your dog company, however, I am able to come to your home and stay, as well if that is what you would feel is best for your dogs or cats.
