“Rachel did a great job caring for my cat, rabbit, and gecko! She sent updates and pictures every day, gave each pet lots of attention, and was able to wrangle my gecko back into his tank after an escape attempt. Would absolutely work with her again!”

About: I grew up with a dog and have always loved pets and animals of all kinds! When I used to stay with my sister, I would watch her two dogs and take them on walks regularly. I have also watched pets (including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, gerbils, etc.) for friends over the years. I currently have a very open and flexible schedule! I finished my doctorate program in acupuncture, moved to Colorado at the start of this year, got my license and I’m currently looking for a job in my field. I do watch my nephews every Thursday and Friday but the rest of the week I have a lot of availability. I’m happy to feed, walk, and play with your pet. I have a cat of my own and I know the importance of taking good care of our furry friends! I love both dogs and cats and would be happy to help with either. Detailed instructions and clear communication for care is appreciated.
“Darla was great! This was our first time leaving our two kittens and she made them feel so comfortable and loved during our trip. Highly recommend for any of your pets!”

“Always a great experience with Dominic. Our dogs love him. He's our go-to! Wait, no, if i leave a good review he's going to get so busy he's not available. ummmm He's terrible....don't use him...at least not when we need him. *wink wink*”

“If Jessica has availability, I always prefer to book with her. She takes such great care of our kitties and goes above and beyond. Despite how fussy our kitties can be at times, she always cares for them as if she were their owner.”

About: Hi! My name is Rachel and I’ve lived in Denver for 6 years. I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. (6+ animals in my childhood household at any given time). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and choose to surround myself around them whenever I can. I joined Rover so that I can fill my love tank for any and all types of animals. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I work mostly remote, so my schedule is very flexible and I’d be able to make almost anytime in the day work to care for your pet. I’ll love your pet just as you do and will ensure their safety as if they were my own. Your pets safety is my top priority.

About: Hi, my name is Caroline! I was adopted to the United States from Ukraine when I was 16yo. Due to my lack of English, I couldn’t get an official job. My family had a friend that worked as a professional pet sitter and she started taking me with her. We had dogs and cats of all sizes and of all ages. I did that business for about a year. Later, when I got older, neighbors on our street started requesting my services because of how good I was with animals and how much they all loved me. I myself had 2 dogs: dachshund (grew up with him at my parents house), and pitbull mix (my own). Right now, me and my husband have a Sphynx cat (10yo) and we’re about to get a Sphynx kitten next month. I would love to adopt a dog as well sometime this year. I have lost my job recently and am looking for something that would keep me on my toes. I believe that a day spent running/walking with a dog/cat is a day well spent. I live in an apartment with my husband and a cat. The cat came with my husband, and before, that cat used to live with 2 dogs: a Yorkie and a Poodle-Yorkie mix.
“Thank you, Lauren, for being willing to take on a new client with short notice before a holiday! Lady is nervous and skeptical about new people but she did great with Lauren. I felt very comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands while I was away and will definitely book again in the future.”

“Anna did a great job cat-sitting for our 2 cats. She managed administering oral medicine via syringe to our 1 cat daily. She gave detailed daily updates and shared awesome photos each day she visited. Most of all, she gave us peace of mind that they were in good hands while we were away! Thanks Anna!”

“Sheryl took great care of our dog and handle all of his quirks really well :) She made sure he had plenty of walks and was entertained while we were out of town. We plan to use Sheryl again in the future.”

About: As a nurse, I've dedicated my career to providing trustworthy and compassionate care. I will ensure that your furry loved ones receive that same care. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes - I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, small breeds, medium breeds, and large breeds. I have previous experience working at a dog day care while completing my nursing courses. Duties included administering medications, constant monitoring of dog behavior to ensure safety amongst large crowds of dogs, implementation of temperament testing, introducing new dogs to the pack, grooming services, and adherence to individualized training plans. I work M-F but have availability in the afternoons for dog walking or drop ins. My weekends are usually wide open for multiple drop ins, walks, or house sitting. I bring a unique level of precision, patience, and professional care to your home. I understand that your pets are family, and I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine above all else.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them is something I’m very comfortable and confident in. My family has always had dogs, so I’ve had hands-on experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. In addition to owning my own dog in the past, I’ve fostered dogs and helped raise two puppies, giving me experience with training basics, routines, and all the energy and patience that puppies require! I’ve also regularly dog-sat for friends and family by caring for dogs in their homes and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m very comfortable walking dogs and making sure each walk is safe and enjoyable. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel relaxed and confident while they’re apart. I’m currently in school so I am generally available on Wednesday’s, Fridays, and most weekends with plenty of time to care for your pets. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog and your home, and I don’t take that lightly. I follow instructions closely, make sure everything is secure, and focus on keeping your dog comfortable and happy. My goal is for you to feel relaxed knowing your dog is being well cared for.

About: I was the primary caregiver to my childhood dog (who I considered my best friend) growing up from age 5 to age 20. I've been the primary babysitter including overnight stays for my sister's German shepherd since he was a puppy until now well into adulthood. My husband is allergic so I'm not able to own my own animals despite how much I LOVE them, so I'm looking to get my animal fix by helping other people take care of their animals during the day when they're busy and at work 🥰 I've found myself with a lot of free time during weekdays and would love to use that time to help people take care of their pets and take them on walks, while also getting more quality time myself with cute animals!! I am a responsible and experienced dog walker who would be happy to walk your dogs around their own neighborhood where they're comfortable, or bring them somewhere new near my dog friendly neighborhood in olde town Arvada!
“My husband and were in Denver foe some music at Red Rocks, hiking, museum lurking, etc. we brought our two older dogs who quickly revealed were not into hiking Our VRBO owner recommended Rover and we luckily found Debra ! She made friends easily with our reserved older pups and gave us a great sense of security leaving our pups in her care! She kept us updated with photos which was very reassuring. We were extremely pleased and will definitely use Debra again and again and ….. thank you so very much !”

Incredible service from Melissa! An extra ⭐️ for the very cute pics of our sweet furry friends! She was very punctual and respectful of the house and our pets, we communicate easily and I can tell our pets loved her since our very shy dog was willing to eat with her. She let us know promptly about changing situations at home and was proactive and helpful. Will definitely book with Melissa again!

Bethany did a great job checking in on our dogs for a few days while we were at a conference. She was always on-time, communicated well, and our dogs were excited to see her. She also did a great job giving one of our dogs her medications in pill and liquid form. Would definitely recommend her and use her again in the future!

Janelle was so great to work with and very quick to respond. She left a great drop-in visit summary with lots of pictures and lots of details that gave us peace of mind while we were out of the house. Would definitely love to work with her again. Thank you, Janelle!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Arvada with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
