“Thank you, Lauren, for being willing to take on a new client with short notice before a holiday! Lady is nervous and skeptical about new people but she did great with Lauren. I felt very comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands while I was away and will definitely book again in the future.”

“Jessica did great with my two pups! She was on time and I could tell from the pictures they enjoyed her visit. We'll be using Jessica in the future whenever we need drop in visits!”

“Ashley is wonderful. My cats had recently gone through a big medical scare and she was on top of meds, suture checks, and keeping me posted on how they were doing. She is my and my cats’ favorite!!”

“Darla made friends with our cat Freya and visited her regularly as scheduled. We are very pleased with Darla’s care and attention. Also we received a nice photo each day we were away. Thanks!”

About: I love animals more than life!! Ive been so lucky to have had such a wide variety of pets of my own and to have met and cared for so many of my friends and families pets as if they are my own. I worked at a doggy daycare facility for a year, which gave me extensive knowledge on caring for dogs and reading body language. I am well equipped to care for animals of all sizes!! I currently do not have other pets or children, making me flexible with my availability on both weekends and weekdays for any services your pet may need! Caring for animals will make my days a million times better!! I am keen on treating your pets as if they are my own. I have so much love in my heart for all animals and you can always trust that they are in the best hands.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them is something I’m very comfortable and confident in. My family has always had dogs, so I’ve had hands-on experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. In addition to owning my own dog in the past, I’ve fostered dogs and helped raise two puppies, giving me experience with training basics, routines, and all the energy and patience that puppies require! I’ve also regularly dog-sat for friends and family by caring for dogs in their homes and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m very comfortable walking dogs and making sure each walk is safe and enjoyable. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel relaxed and confident while they’re apart. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m home most days of the week due to my most of my classes being online. I’m generally available on most weekends, with plenty of time to give dogs attention, walks, and care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog and your home, and I don’t take that lightly. I follow instructions closely, make sure everything is secure, and focus on keeping your dog comfortable and happy. My goal is for you to feel relaxed knowing your dog is being well cared for.
About: Over the last 15 years, I’ve made countless memories watching and caring for family and friend’s dogs and other pets. Experience in day care, overnights, and week long stays at clients homes to care for their furry companions. I’m comfortable with all types of dogs from any age range. Each dog will receive individualized and personalized attention that fits their lifestyle and personality. I pride myself in being extremely reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent communication so you feel comfortable and updated. I’m currently in between jobs so I am available any day of the week at any time. My weekends are usually always open as well. In a clients home, I ensure their normal routine is followed precisely. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, given quality walks as requested, and plenty of attention and playtime. I also make sure the home is treated with respect and care, with additional clean up as needed. Updates/photos will be sent so you can feel secure and informed while being away.
“Heather took great care of my cat while I was gone. She also was very responsive and helped me add a day I forgot to book last minute. I will certainly be requesting her services again in the future!”

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs at both ends of the age spectrum. I love the curiosity and energy of puppies, as well as the calm confidence of senior dogs who know themselves and deserve to move at their own pace and enjoy the little things. When I walk dogs, I focus on their individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Some dogs thrive on exercise and adventure, while others prefer a slower pace, taking time to explore every scent along the way. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic puppy manners, sticking to established routines, and offering the extra patience and care that senior dogs often need. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. My goal is to make every walk safe, enjoyable, and stress-free for both you and your pup. Hanging out with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for in my weekly routine. I work a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to dog walks, doggy day care, or drop-in visits. As a longtime pet owner, caring for animals is a natural part of my day. I understand the importance of exercise and routine. Whether it’s a quick walk, a puppy who needs to burn off some energy, or a senior dog who enjoys a slower stroll and extra attention, I make sure each visit is focused on providing safe, attentive, and personalized care. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and a calm, cozy home environment that dogs tend to settle into quickly. My space is filled with natural light and lots of houseplants, giving it a relaxed, peaceful feel that’s perfect for pups who enjoy lounging, exploring, or just being part of the household.
About: I treat every animal like family, offering personalized care, endless playtime, and genuine love. Your furry friend will feel right at home with me, ensuring they're happy and well-cared for! I currently work full time 6 to 5 p.m on weekdays and am looking for furry friends to give me company when I am not working!!! I care for my pets with all my love, spoiling them to the fullest! I am also a clean freak so my home is always very safe and clean! Great for puppies!

“Darian was amazing! She is super easy to communicate with and kept us updated the whole time! She was also very patient and great with my very timid dog and made sure she was comfortable the whole time.”

About: Hi, my name is Caroline! I was adopted to the United States from Ukraine when I was 16yo. Due to my lack of English, I couldn’t get an official job. My family had a friend that worked as a professional pet sitter and she started taking me with her. We had dogs and cats of all sizes and of all ages. I did that business for about a year. Later, when I got older, neighbors on our street started requesting my services because of how good I was with animals and how much they all loved me. I myself had 2 dogs: dachshund (grew up with him at my parents house), and pitbull mix (my own). Right now, me and my husband have a Sphynx cat (10yo) and we’re about to get a Sphynx kitten next month. I would love to adopt a dog as well sometime this year. I have lost my job recently and am looking for something that would keep me on my toes. I believe that a day spent running/walking with a dog/cat is a day well spent. I live in an apartment with my husband and a cat. The cat came with my husband, and before, that cat used to live with 2 dogs: a Yorkie and a Poodle-Yorkie mix.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Arvada
We have been trusting Bethany to take great care of our fur babies for over 3 years and she has always done such a great job! Our dog and cats love her, and she is very accommodating with their special dietary needs. She is a lifesaver every time we need to head out of town!!

I had Michelle drop in on my senior Shih Tzu for two weeks. She sent us lots of pictures everyday and did a great job taking care of him. He really loved her and he’s not easy to win over! I would recommend Michelle to anyone looking for someone caring and communicative to care for their pet. I’ll definitely be booking with her again 😊

Anna was great with my high energy and nervous shepherd mix. He can bark and jump on new people but Anna was super receptive to my instructions to prevent this and was able to play with him, give him water, treats, and a potty break within 30 minutes. She was very responsive to my messages as well. She has lots of experience with foster dogs which is great for my high maintenance big boy.

Debra was great. Lots of communication and updates during the drop in. It’s always scary for me to leave my baby (yes, crazy dog mom status) with someone, but Debra made me feel at ease. We will definitely be using her again when I get over my fear of boarding.

Marissa has been my pups’ go-to sitter for several months now. She is incredibly attentive and they just love her - they are SO happy during her visits and it’s clear in the photos and vids she shares. Recently, one of my dogs needed administration of some meds as well as some extra attention with a cone of shame. Marissa handled everything wonderfully and I felt good knowing he was in trusted hands. BOOK HER, if you can!

Taya was truly one of our best Rover experiences! We needed a new rover on short notice to care for our dog while we attended an out of state funeral. Taya happily came by the next day for a meet and greet and was very happy to accommodate us. She clearly loves all animals and was one of the best communicators, leaving great notes for us and even better pictures. I would happily recommend Taya to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
