When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, and playtime, to help them feel secure while their family is away. I always respect the client’s home by keeping things tidy and following any specific instructions they leave. Most importantly, I spend quality time with each pet so they feel loved, calm, and not alone while their owners are gone.

A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. This can include walks, fetch, tug of war, puzzle toys, and enrichment games that keep them mentally engaged. For more relaxed pets, I enjoy gentle play, brushing, and cuddle time. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, exercised, and loved while they’re in my care.

Pet care experience
I have several years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’ve provided pet sitting for friends and clients, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, walking dogs, and spending quality time with their pets while they’re away. I have experience administering medicine and giving injections to cats, including caring for my own cat who had cancer and another diabetic cat. I’m comfortable handling pets with special health needs and always make sure they feel safe and cared for.
