Pet Sitting in Golden

About: I have been working with and taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Growing up with dogs my entire life in my own home, as well as walking, pet-sitting, and feeding my neighbors 4-legged friends. I have experience with puppy training, as well as spendin time with senior dogs. I have worked with dogs with 3 legs, dogs who are deaf, and dogs with specfic diets. I am comfortable arounds dogs, and I have found that they are comfortable around me. I am currenlty working 25 hours a week as a behavioral tech in Lakewood. I have evenings and some early mornings avaiable as well as most weekends. I am also often available on lunches. I will treat your dog like my own. Whatever procedures and rules your dog follows at home, I will transfer to my time with them. I am high energy, and am able-bodied to be on the floor or running around with your dog.

About: I grew up with three family dogs. I know how to take care of them, give them affection, read their body language, and more! You can trust me to treat your fur babies well. I’m a current student so have plenty of gaps in the weekday to take care of your pets and walk them. I’m not typically busy Sunday nights either. I can follow any special instructions provided to me and will be sure that your pets needs are fully met in the best way possible.

About: Hi, I'm Ryan! My wife Emily and I have lived in Colorado since 2014, and we’ve been full-time pet sitters for the past 8 years!! Pets are our passion, and we treat each animal with the most love and care. We’ve often been told we take the best photos too!! Sadly in late 2024, our sweet senior beagle Lola was put to rest peacefully at home. We miss her dearly and love the support our network of other pets can provide. Lola loved going on hikes along Clear Creek, chilling at home and taking adventures all over Colorado! She made so many great friends thru Rover, and we look forward to meeting your loved ones soon too! But after starting college, I looked for extra ways to earn money, and started watching my neighbor's pets. Now that I've graduated, I still prefer the freedom to be my own boss, and love the connections I build with each and every animal. Whether it’s an extended stay, or a quick drop-in, rest assured Emily and I will try our best to accommodate. We often get booked in advance! I treat every animal with lots of love, care, and respect. Emily and I are vegetarians and don’t want kids anytime soon, so all of our focus is on making sure your pets have the proper care and attention. We have experience giving insulin shots, oral and topical medications, and can even provide bathing upon request.

“Nina has done drop-in visits for our cat a few times now, and is fantastic. We especially appreciated how well she handled his complicated medical needs on our most recent trip, after he was diagnosed with cancer — including preparing and giving him multiple medications twice a day, keeping close track of how much food he was eating, washing and replacing his dirty bedding, and taking helpful notes for us in his medical log on each visit. She was punctual (which was important for his medication timing) and sent us photos and updates after every visit. Our cat is super shy and normally just hides when visitors are around, so it was a huge relief to see from Nina’s photos that he was comfortable enough with her to come out to eat and even get some scritches. We were nervous about leaving him under someone else’s care, but he was obviously in great hands and we’d trust her to watch him any time in future. Thanks Nina!!”

Pet care fits naturally into my routine through morning walks/feeding, evening walks, playtime, and consistent check-ins. I’m committed to maintaining a dependable schedule and making sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care every day. I prioritize a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet. I carefully follow all owner instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything tidy while ensuring pets feel secure and relaxed. I’m attentive during walks, use secure leashing, and monitor behavior to prevent any risks. My goal is to provide consistent, trustworthy care so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.

About: Im a lover of most all animals especially dogs. I worked at a major dog toy manufacturer for over 10 years. Became friends with a dog trainer who taught me about behaviors and the do's and dont's when interacting with dogs. Is your dog a 'fetcher', 'chewer' or 'tugger'. I'm looking to making new dog friends. I'm recently retired and all days are available. It also gives me an opportunity to get some extra exercise while having a lot of fun doing so. I am looking only for dog walking and sitting at pet owners homes to start. That may change in the future but for now that's what I offer.

About: I'm a dog mom through and through, which means I come fully equipped with treats, belly rub expertise, and zero judgment about how many times your pup needs to sniff the same bush. I'm comfortable with everything from 8-week-old puppies to senior dogs (note for senior dogs: they will need to go up stairs). I'll send you an unreasonable number of photos of your dog having the time of their life while they play with my sweet gal, Mocha. Your dog will be spoiled, loved, and probably a little tired by the time you pick them up. I work from home, so your dog is never stuck home alone. They'll have access all day, every day to backyard zoomie sessions in my large, fully-fenced yard, midday sniff adventures, and plenty of couch time in between. Big dogs especially love the backyard! I offer boarding seven days a week and doggy daycare Monday through Friday. Drop-off and pick-up can easily work around your schedule. My home is a dog-friendly zone. The backyard is large and fully fenced. I don't typically use crates. Your dog is free to roam comfortably inside and out, just like they would at home. However, if you would like me to crate them I can. My own friendly dog is part of the package, so your pup will have a built-in buddy to hang out with! I do a slow introduction to make sure the dogs hit it off. As for furniture, I follow your lead! If your dog is used to the couch, they're welcome on mine. If you'd prefer they stay off, I'll happily reinforce that (my dog has already claimed the good cushion anyway). Since I work from home, I'm around to keep an eye on things all day.
