About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5, I’m now 31 years old so it’s second nature. We have 4 ourself, and 11 fish tanks so big animal lovers here, dogs get free rein of the house and we have a big yard for them to do their business as well! We also have a big trail next to us for walking needs as well, we look forward to you booking with us Not working right now, so my time is spent at home with the animals fully. I try to stay home as much as possible so I’m fully committed to your dog I have a 3 bedroom spacious double wide trailer where two of the rooms are dog rooms so plenty of room for dogs, we don’t have a “fenced” yard but we have a huge area with a 50 ft lead where we sit on the porch with the dogs while they do their business
“Ken is the absolute best! I had just moved in to town after taking a job in the area and had to leave for 2 weeks to attend a conference in Indiana. Ken met up with me not only once, but twice before he started dog sitting to ensure that my 5 year old German Shepherd was fully comfortable with the idea of Ken coming by to visit! Ken constantly kept me updated with messages and photos every time he’d check on my dog. There was a point in which my dog was running low on dog food. Ken informed me of this and went out to buy it on his own time! Even though this was the longest time I had ever had to spend away from my dog, Ken’s attentiveness and compassion displayed towards my pup reassured me that I chose the BEST possible person to watch my beloved friend while I was away!”

“Ashley is a wonderful pet sitter! She is always on time and I trust her in my home and with my kitty. She also takes amazing photos and provides adorable updates throughout the stay.”

About: I learned pet care from an early age from a dog loving family and then worked with the humane society and spent time with professional trainers. I am a retired school teacher with lots of free time! I love talking brisk, long walks with caninne companions and seeing mature up close. I live in a beautiful condo in Genesee. There is a ton of outdoor space and easy acces to trails. Great for dogs and humans.

About: Your dog gets a half-acre fenced yard on two acres, and a gate that opens straight onto open space and trail. No loading up in a car to find a walk, we step out the door and go. For a big dog with a real engine, that’s the whole difference. I have two labs of my own, a male and a female, both social and easy, so your dog has company and a pack to fall into rather than a crate and a quiet house. I’ve been boarding for friends and neighbors for 10, and I know what a bored 70-pound dog does to a living room, which is why exercise comes first here, not as a bonus. Good fit for: large breeds, working and sporting dogs, adolescents with too much energy, dogs who don’t do well kenneled. Not a good fit for: dogs who can’t be around other dogs, or who need to be kept separate. I’d rather say that up front than have anyone spend a bad weekend. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits for locals who’d rather keep their dog at home. Same approach, a walk here means actual miles on real terrain, not fifteen minutes on pavement. Daily photos and a note, usually from somewhere on the trail. I work from home, so dogs aren’t alone for long stretches, I’m here through the day and the routine is built around that. Mornings start with a walk on the trail behind the house before I sit down to work. I leave the doors open so that dogs are able to go in and out of the fenced yard through the day while I’m at my desk, with a midday break for a longer outing. Late afternoon is the real hike, when my two labs go out and your dog goes with them. Evenings are quiet, everyone’s tired by then, which is the point. I do take calls during the day, so there are stretches where I’m at my desk rather than actively playing, but the dogs are with me, not shut away. Weekends are more of the same with longer hikes and no calls Containment: My yard is a half-acre fully fenced, on two acres backing to open space. Gates stay latched and I check them before any dog goes out. Dogs are never off-leash on the open space unless the owner has confirmed reliable recall and I’ve seen it myself on a long line first, otherwise we hike on leash, every time. In the house: Dogs are loose in the main living area with me and my two labs, not confined to a garage or basement. I have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or you’d prefer it, and I’m happy to keep whatever routine they already have. New dogs and mine are introduced outside on neutral ground before anyone comes in the house. Requirements: Up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. I ask for your vet’s contact and a backup person who can make decisions if I can’t reach you. Wildlife: We’re in the foothills, so coyotes, bears, and mountain lions are part of the landscape. Dogs go out into the fenced yard supervised, not unattended, and I don’t leave food or water bowls outside. Nobody is out in the yard alone at dawn or dusk. If something goes wrong: I’ll call you first, but I won’t wait on a callback to get a dog treated. My work is in wildfire and emergency planning, so I keep an evacuation plan for my own dogs including crates, leashes, records, and a go-bag ready and any boarding dog is included in it if there is an emergency.
About: Cause at the moment that's all I got. Looking to spend some time and make some extra $ helping you care for your pet when your gone. I work from home so I'm available all day to care for your loving pet. I work from home so I am available to take your pets for daily walks (multiple if required) and play with or check on them between my meeting. I would be coming to your home to care for your pets so the stress level will decrease for your pet. I am comfortable living in your space and keeping your pets routine for them and you.
“This was our second time booking with Lauren and once again she was wonderful with our two cats. She’s reliable, communicative & so caring. We loved her updates and came home to two happy pets! Thanks again!”

About: I have cared for animals my entire life, growing up around a wide variety of pets and continuing that care into adulthood. From a young age I have house sat and watched animals from my own home over the past 30 years. My experience includes horses, dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and lizards. I am comfortable with daily routines, individual personalities, and providing calm, attentive care to ensure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. My entire family loves animals and caring for them. They all contribute to loving and taking care of your furry family members. Special Skills & Care: Basic dog obedience training Bathing & basic grooming Leash walking & exercise Feeding & fresh water routines Administering basic care & monitoring health Experience with multiple animal types Calm, patient handling Following detailed care instructions Providing companionship & comfort Pet care fits very well into my daily routine. I am home every day from 2:30 PM through 8:00 AM, which allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and supervision for boarding pets. During this time, pets receive regular playtime, walks, and lots of affection and snuggles. On weekends, I am home full-time, with only occasional errands, ensuring pets are rarely left alone. I enjoy making animals part of my daily routine and prioritizing their comfort, safety, and happiness while in my care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I tailor care to each dog’s individual needs and routine. I have a good sized backyard with 6-foot privacy fence for secure outdoor play, with water and yard access available 24/7. Dogs are always supervised while outside. Inside my home, dogs are treated like family and are welcome anywhere I am. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space, I’m happy to crate when I’m not home or follow your normal routine. At night, dogs will sleep in a kennel or in a room with me, depending on what makes them most comfortable. I have other friendly pups who love to play, but I always introduce dogs slowly and can keep pets separated if your dog prefers one-on-one attention. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I adjust care to match their personality and needs. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own—providing a safe, loving, and structured environment so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾
“Shelbi was SO amazing with our dog and cat. She went totally above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable that our pets were in the best care possible. We will absolutely be using her services again.”

About: I have been a caregiver to animals and humans for most of my life. Living with, loving on, and caring for animals fills up my emotional bucket. Providing pet care allows me the opportunity to keep my emotional bucket full, support my entrepreneurial dreams, while bringing in income for my family and maintaining a good work/home life balance. While caring for your pets, you can expect professionalism, honesty, and integrity from me. I will check in with you as often as you’d like, and will follow all instructions.

About: I have had pets all my life. I currently have my dog Mr.Darcy (2 years old) who I'm actively training and my lovely cat Lucifur. I live with conures and I also frequently watch my sisters miniature zoo which includes dogs, reptiles, amphibians, fish, bugs, ducks & chickens. & I enjoy saving stray animals whenever I get the chance I'm an artist who's new to Denver looking to care for critters most of my time. High maintenance / energetic dogs are preferred but I truly love all animals. It's extremely important to me to listen when pets communicate. Dog language and behavior is something I spend most of my time researching just for fun.
About: I’ve been dog walking and dog sitting for nearly two decades. I’m comfortable with any breed, young and young at heart, and any size. Two years ago, I decided to get my own black lab mix named Gideon who is great with other dogs. I’m here to help keep your pup company if you have to travel or a standard work day. I work from home and live a 10 minute walking distance to Green Mountain trailhead. Gideon and I would love the extra company! I work from home M-F and take my dog out x3 times a day. We also go on hikes on the weekends or after work if it’s not too hot. My place has a balcony which is Gideon’s favorite past time just watching the people and critters that go by in the fresh foothills air. For boarding, your pup is welcome to stay at my place and can sleep on the couch or spare dog bed. I have toys and interactive puzzles to keep my pup stimulated and Gideon is happy to share. When I have dog sat in the past, I would usually go to the pup’s home so they were most comfortable bringing everything I need for myself and learning their routine. For boarding, I like to have a walk through or at least a conversation about boundaries and what’s comfortable for everyone. Know that your pup will get quality care.
“Outstanding care for our dog. Tiffanie did great, very punctual and overly attentive, which we appreciated! We look forward to having Tiffanie back in a few short weeks! Highly recommended.”

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
