About: Hello! My name is Kelly. I am completing my masters degree online this fall . I will be home most of the time until December 2026. I have a big heart for animals of all breeds and personalities. I have over 50 volunteer hours working at my local animal shelter when I was in high school and many more hours spoiling my own pup. I've worked with big dogs, small dogs, and every dog in between! I've also cared for senior dogs. I also have one dog at home, but my husband and I are planning on bringing home another in October! At this time, I am only accepting small to medium dogs for boarding. I strongly believe that every creature deserves dignity and respect. We’ve been working closely with his vet and a trainer, trying everything from calming collars and thunder shirts to CBD, leaving an item of my clothing, and even having in-home sitters. Unfortunately, nothing has been a magic fix yet, but we’re continuing to try. That said, Stanley *loves* other people and dogs, and I was relieved to see he came home happy (and hungry!). They even kindly offered him some food when he didn’t want to eat his own, which I really appreciated. When my dinner reservation ran late, he was flexible and understanding about the pick-up time, which I also truly appreciated. About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember and for the last 6 years I’ve been pet sitting locally. I currently have two small dogs, one of them being my service dog so I have a lot of experience with pet care! One of my dogs is also blind so I have a lot of experience with blind dogs and their extra needs! I currently work part time but I still have a lot of time to spend with your animals!
