About: Your dog gets a half-acre fenced yard on two acres, and a gate that opens straight onto open space and trail. No loading up in a car to find a walk, we step out the door and go. For a big dog with a real engine, that’s the whole difference. I have two labs of my own, a male and a female, both social and easy, so your dog has company and a pack to fall into rather than a crate and a quiet house. I’ve been boarding for friends and neighbors for 10, and I know what a bored 70-pound dog does to a living room, which is why exercise comes first here, not as a bonus. Good fit for: large breeds, working and sporting dogs, adolescents with too much energy, dogs who don’t do well kenneled. Not a good fit for: dogs who can’t be around other dogs, or who need to be kept separate. I’d rather say that up front than have anyone spend a bad weekend. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits for locals who’d rather keep their dog at home. Same approach, a walk here means actual miles on real terrain, not fifteen minutes on pavement. Daily photos and a note, usually from somewhere on the trail. I work from home, so dogs aren’t alone for long stretches, I’m here through the day and the routine is built around that. Mornings start with a walk on the trail behind the house before I sit down to work. I leave the doors open so that dogs are able to go in and out of the fenced yard through the day while I’m at my desk, with a midday break for a longer outing. Late afternoon is the real hike, when my two labs go out and your dog goes with them. Evenings are quiet, everyone’s tired by then, which is the point. I do take calls during the day, so there are stretches where I’m at my desk rather than actively playing, but the dogs are with me, not shut away. Weekends are more of the same with longer hikes and no calls Containment: My yard is a half-acre fully fenced, on two acres backing to open space. Gates stay latched and I check them before any dog goes out. Dogs are never off-leash on the open space unless the owner has confirmed reliable recall and I’ve seen it myself on a long line first, otherwise we hike on leash, every time. In the house: Dogs are loose in the main living area with me and my two labs, not confined to a garage or basement. I have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or you’d prefer it, and I’m happy to keep whatever routine they already have. New dogs and mine are introduced outside on neutral ground before anyone comes in the house. Requirements: Up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. I ask for your vet’s contact and a backup person who can make decisions if I can’t reach you. Wildlife: We’re in the foothills, so coyotes, bears, and mountain lions are part of the landscape. Dogs go out into the fenced yard supervised, not unattended, and I don’t leave food or water bowls outside. Nobody is out in the yard alone at dawn or dusk. If something goes wrong: I’ll call you first, but I won’t wait on a callback to get a dog treated. My work is in wildfire and emergency planning, so I keep an evacuation plan for my own dogs including crates, leashes, records, and a go-bag ready and any boarding dog is included in it if there is an emergency.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5, I’m now 31 years old so it’s second nature. We have 4 ourself, and 11 fish tanks so big animal lovers here, dogs get free rein of the house and we have a big yard for them to do their business as well! We also have a big trail next to us for walking needs as well, we look forward to you booking with us Not working right now, so my time is spent at home with the animals fully. I try to stay home as much as possible so I’m fully committed to your dog I have a 3 bedroom spacious double wide trailer where two of the rooms are dog rooms so plenty of room for dogs, we don’t have a “fenced” yard but we have a huge area with a 50 ft lead where we sit on the porch with the dogs while they do their business

About: I've taken care of and been around dogs my whole life. I've personally had dogs that I've trained, loved, and cared for from puppyhood to end of life senior care and would love to use this spectrum of experience to give your dogs the care and attention they deserve. While my own dogs have been smaller breeds of Bichons and a Corgis, I have plenty of time invested in caring for larger breed dogs with a wide variety of temperaments. I am an active person myself and would love to keep your dog happy and healthy! Caring for animals has been part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. Checking in on a pet's needs or simply giving them frequent love and attention are second nature to me. My schedule allows for genuine flexibility to give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I currently do not have any pets of my own, so I am free and open to treat every dog like they're my own, whether it be a simple midday walk or overnight stay! Whether I'm caring for a pet in your home, or just stopping by for a walk, my commitment to making you and your dog feel safe and happy remains the same. I will follow the owner's establish routines, command words, and schedules as closely as possible as that consistency is what keeps pets calm and happy. In your home I will treat the space with total respect, sticking to feeding schedules, walking routes, and any rules set, including for myself. I can provide as many or as little updates as you prefer, and welcome any questions to make this a mutually beneficial relationship.

About: I’m a health and wellness professional with a history of health care employment. I love to move and play with my children. As well as our dogs when they were with us. Especially getting outside in nature and all that it provides us and our pets! I know how important it is for dogs to move, play, get fresh air, smell all the smells, explore, have some love and attention, especially when your not there. Though I do not have dogs at the moment I miss getting them out on hikes, walks and play.. I would love to be able to provide that care with love and fun for your dogs. I’m primarily a stay at home mom. Although I do work very part time as a personal trainer as well as a yoga sculpt and CSX instructor. My schedule can be pretty flexible. I do love to walk/hike almost daily and would love to take your dog along with me. I will care for your dog as if they were my own. In a loving and caring manner, lots of cuddles and treats as you allow. I will respect, follow and adhere to your specific rules, schedules and routines. Should I need to bring your dog to our home we have a pet free fenced in yard.

About: I have lots of experience with all kinds of animals! I have bunnies, horses, dogs, cats, and reptiles. I’ve been taking care of them since I was little I work 2 jobs during the day but I am available during the weekends / evenings to give your animals lots of love and attention. I usually do the feeding and the cleaning, but I mostly like to go out and play or give my animals lots of attention and love.

About: We have been around dogs for a very long time. As a couple, my wife and I, got our first dog in our wedding trip. Since then, we could not live without at least one dog in the house. We owned an English Cocker Spaniel, an American Cocker Spaniel, a Lab mix, a Dachshund, an American yellow Lab. We currently own a chocolate merle American Cocker Spaniel. We also take care of cats. We are retired, and available at all times during the day to love and care for your dogs and cats. We are performing our duties seriously, without skipping over anything. We are extremely careful about dogs' and cats' safety. We have medical training and on walks / trips we carry a backpack with medical emergency supplies. We like to think ahead and be prepared for any situation.

About: I’ve been taking care of fur babies for about 5 years! I’m new to the rover community but want to expand my love for animals! I am comfortable around all dogs/cats and am willing to learn how to best fulfill your pets needs! When I come to take care of your four legged buddy, I promise to dedicate my time to nurture, adore, and create enjoyable experiences for them. My roommates have two pups - an English cream retriever named Soph and a chocolate lab named Tucker who are equal parts sweet as they are energetic! I’m currently working full time and am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! My typical working hours are 8:45-4:30 M-F! I am also flexible and can accommodate last minute bookings! When in your home, I would love to create a nurturing and playful environment for your fur babies as well as continue your daily routine to keep your furry one as comfortable and happy as possible!

About: I have 2 cats currently and have had multiple dogs growing up! I absolutely love animals and would love the opportunity to meet and care for more! I’m currently working part-time so I’m extremely available to come for any last minute appointments or planned ones. I plan to work part-time for at least a few months. About: I’ve worked at my mom’s grooming shop in Evergreen (soggy dog) every summer for the last 4 years, while petsitting for a lot of the dogs in my neighborhood. Personally, I have an elderly dachshund and a standard poodle puppy, so I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. It’d be a pleasure to take care of your pets! I’m currently a student at CU, but my schedule is pretty flexible. Inquire about what days I’m needed, and I can work with you! I can’t offer my own in-home services due to my college living situation, but I am obviously willing to take care of your pets in your own home. I have a car so I can arrive fast in case of emergency, and venture far if needed.
