About: I’ve been raising, fostering and rescuing dogs for the past 13 years. I’ve been through all the dog life stages and dealt with all varieties of dog behavioral and medical issues. Everyone I know says that in their next life they want to come back as one of my dogs-spoiled to no end! I work for myself and mostly from home so I am very flexible with my schedule and my ability to spend a lot of quality time with you dog. Also, I have about 10 fenced in acres up in the mountains that is a great place to bring you pup for some off leash playtime if that’s something you’re interested in I have a lot of space in my home and also over 10 fenced in acres to explore (with supervision, of course). Outdoor play/ walk time at my house can be on or off lease depending on what you are most comfortable with

I have a 6" fenced yard for play, a pet friendly dog and cat for company, and can crate your dog if that's what they need. When I'm in a clients home, I stick closely to your pet's routine, meals, walks, meds, and lots of attention, so things feel consistent. And if your pup loves adventures, I'm just 15 minutes from Chatfield Dog Park and happy to take them out for safe, fun exercise. About: I’m a health and wellness professional with a history of health care employment. I love to move and play with my children. As well as our dogs when they were with us. Especially getting outside in nature and all that it provides us and our pets! I know how important it is for dogs to move, play, get fresh air, smell all the smells, explore, have some love and attention, especially when your not there. Though I do not have dogs at the moment I miss getting them out on hikes, walks and play.. I would love to be able to provide that care with love and fun for your dogs. I’m primarily a stay at home mom. Although I do work very part time as a personal trainer as well as a yoga sculpt and CSX instructor. My schedule can be pretty flexible. I do love to walk/hike almost daily and would love to take your dog along with me. I will care for your dog as if they were my own. In a loving and caring manner, lots of cuddles and treats as you allow. I will respect, follow and adhere to your specific rules, schedules and routines. Should I need to bring your dog to our home we have a pet free fenced in yard.

About: Your dog gets a half-acre fenced yard on two acres, and a gate that opens straight onto open space and trail. No loading up in a car to find a walk, we step out the door and go. For a big dog with a real engine, that’s the whole difference. I have two labs of my own, a male and a female, both social and easy, so your dog has company and a pack to fall into rather than a crate and a quiet house. I’ve been boarding for friends and neighbors for 10, and I know what a bored 70-pound dog does to a living room, which is why exercise comes first here, not as a bonus. Good fit for: large breeds, working and sporting dogs, adolescents with too much energy, dogs who don’t do well kenneled. Not a good fit for: dogs who can’t be around other dogs, or who need to be kept separate. I’d rather say that up front than have anyone spend a bad weekend. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits for locals who’d rather keep their dog at home. Same approach, a walk here means actual miles on real terrain, not fifteen minutes on pavement. Daily photos and a note, usually from somewhere on the trail. I work from home, so dogs aren’t alone for long stretches, I’m here through the day and the routine is built around that. Mornings start with a walk on the trail behind the house before I sit down to work. I leave the doors open so that dogs are able to go in and out of the fenced yard through the day while I’m at my desk, with a midday break for a longer outing. Late afternoon is the real hike, when my two labs go out and your dog goes with them. Evenings are quiet, everyone’s tired by then, which is the point. I do take calls during the day, so there are stretches where I’m at my desk rather than actively playing, but the dogs are with me, not shut away. Weekends are more of the same with longer hikes and no calls Containment: My yard is a half-acre fully fenced, on two acres backing to open space. Gates stay latched and I check them before any dog goes out. Dogs are never off-leash on the open space unless the owner has confirmed reliable recall and I’ve seen it myself on a long line first, otherwise we hike on leash, every time. In the house: Dogs are loose in the main living area with me and my two labs, not confined to a garage or basement. I have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or you’d prefer it, and I’m happy to keep whatever routine they already have. New dogs and mine are introduced outside on neutral ground before anyone comes in the house. Requirements: Up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. I ask for your vet’s contact and a backup person who can make decisions if I can’t reach you. Wildlife: We’re in the foothills, so coyotes, bears, and mountain lions are part of the landscape. Dogs go out into the fenced yard supervised, not unattended, and I don’t leave food or water bowls outside. Nobody is out in the yard alone at dawn or dusk. If something goes wrong: I’ll call you first, but I won’t wait on a callback to get a dog treated. My work is in wildfire and emergency planning, so I keep an evacuation plan for my own dogs including crates, leashes, records, and a go-bag ready and any boarding dog is included in it if there is an emergency.

About: I have had dogs the majority of my life, all sizes included! Worked at an organic pet store for 3 years and learned a ton about caring for dogs. I am pretty flexible at the moment, just would need a day or so notice for anything! Have my own car and currently not working so I have pretty open availability I care for them by trying to keep their routine as normal as possible! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5, I’m now 31 years old so it’s second nature. We have 4 ourself, and 11 fish tanks so big animal lovers here, dogs get free rein of the house and we have a big yard for them to do their business as well! We also have a big trail next to us for walking needs as well, we look forward to you booking with us Not working right now, so my time is spent at home with the animals fully. I try to stay home as much as possible so I’m fully committed to your dog I have a 3 bedroom spacious double wide trailer where two of the rooms are dog rooms so plenty of room for dogs, we don’t have a “fenced” yard but we have a huge area with a 50 ft lead where we sit on the porch with the dogs while they do their business

About: We have been around dogs for a very long time. As a couple, my wife and I, got our first dog in our wedding trip. Since then, we could not live without at least one dog in the house. We owned an English Cocker Spaniel, an American Cocker Spaniel, a Lab mix, a Dachshund, an American yellow Lab. We currently own a chocolate merle American Cocker Spaniel. We also take care of cats. We are retired, and available at all times during the day to love and care for your dogs and cats. We are performing our duties seriously, without skipping over anything. We are extremely careful about dogs' and cats' safety. We have medical training and on walks / trips we carry a backpack with medical emergency supplies. We like to think ahead and be prepared for any situation.

About: My first sibling was my dog Casie and I’ve loved them ever since. I have had 30lb mixes to 120lb Newfoundland’s. I have been through the best and worst days with my dogs and will bring that same care and attention to yours whether they just need to run at the park or their pills and eye drops. I am a young professional who grew up in Colorado and have been in DC for 2 1/2 years now teaching civics and policy to students. I love going for bike rides, concerts, or whichever street fair is happening next. I’m happy to walk, play, visit, feed, or stay with your dogs as needed. Will be timely, communicative, and respectful of you and your dog’s needs. Have been walking and house sitting for people’s dogs since highschool. Thanks and looking forward to keeping your dogs happy and healthy. Working full time till mid August, then classes start end of the month. Hours will be very mixed, but I have a car to get around. I will be fully attentive to them, playing or petting to their content. Just like a child, I would keep an eye on them and make sure I knew where they were at all times. Always keeping an eye on the last time they were out and that their water bowl is full. Otherwise, happy to be around and have them sitting nearby.

About: Throughout my life I've cared for beagles, aussies, doodles, doxies, terriers & schnauzer. Including home-training these breeds as puppies. My favorite activity is to mountain bike with my family's Australian shepherd, or play with the doodles! I run my own business and therefore create my own schedule.
