About: I've taken care of and been around dogs my whole life. I've personally had dogs that I've trained, loved, and cared for from puppyhood to end of life senior care and would love to use this spectrum of experience to give your dogs the care and attention they deserve. While my own dogs have been smaller breeds of Bichons and a Corgis, I have plenty of time invested in caring for larger breed dogs with a wide variety of temperaments. I am an active person myself and would love to keep your dog happy and healthy! Caring for animals has been part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. Checking in on a pet's needs or simply giving them frequent love and attention are second nature to me. My schedule allows for genuine flexibility to give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I currently do not have any pets of my own, so I am free and open to treat every dog like they're my own, whether it be a simple midday walk or overnight stay! Whether I'm caring for a pet in your home, or just stopping by for a walk, my commitment to making you and your dog feel safe and happy remains the same. I will follow the owner's establish routines, command words, and schedules as closely as possible as that consistency is what keeps pets calm and happy. In your home I will treat the space with total respect, sticking to feeding schedules, walking routes, and any rules set, including for myself. I can provide as many or as little updates as you prefer, and welcome any questions to make this a mutually beneficial relationship.
“Alyssa was wonderful! She did drop bys with our pup while we were out of town and sent so many photos and shared great updates, it really put our mind at ease! She was very responsive and reliable, and I know our pup got all the love and attention while we were away. We will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5, I’m now 31 years old so it’s second nature. We have 4 ourself, and 11 fish tanks so big animal lovers here, dogs get free rein of the house and we have a big yard for them to do their business as well! We also have a big trail next to us for walking needs as well, we look forward to you booking with us Not working right now, so my time is spent at home with the animals fully. I try to stay home as much as possible so I’m fully committed to your dog I have a 3 bedroom spacious double wide trailer where two of the rooms are dog rooms so plenty of room for dogs, we don’t have a “fenced” yard but we have a huge area with a 50 ft lead where we sit on the porch with the dogs while they do their business
“Heather was wonderful with our little Kwazzi. This was Kwazzi’s first time being tended by a “stranger” and she absolutely loved it. Heather was prompt and very professional, we would recommend her in a minute.”

“Samantha is awesome!! Super responsive and easy to schedule with, and she took excellent care of our two goldendoodles. She even got them out for a walk despite the cold and snowy weather!! We will definitely be booking with Samantha again!!!”

About: Just a college student missing her own pups! I have 5+ years of professional pet sitting and dog walking experience back home, plus the personal joy of living with family dogs my entire life. We've had rescue puppies, a senior dog, and even cats for a while, and I have a special place in my heart for large breed dogs <3. From walking 2 month old lab puppies, to taking care of senior terriers, to dog sitting my neighbor's four Newfoundlands, I have the responsibility and compassion needed to guarantee that your pets are in good hands! I'm currently a full-time college student in Seattle! I have class most of Monday-Wednesday (with some breaks in between), and in the mornings on Thursday-Friday, but I am extremely flexible outside of those blocks! I always stick to your pets' routine and make sure they receive lots of love and attention. I'll follow any health/medical instructions to the letter to keep your pets healthy and happy. I'm generally a neat person and will leave your home as good as I found it, and send lots of pictures of cuddle time and walks :)
“Sarah was so sweet and super nice to my anxious pup! She did a fantastic job taking care of her and I would 1000% recommend and will be booking with her again! Thank you so much Sarah!”

About: Growing up on a farm made me love all kind of animals. When I got my own place my fur family grew. I have a dog (sadly our sweet boy passed) and 4 cats if I could have a whole zoo I probably would. As a stay-at-home mom and future real estate professional, I spend most of my days at home with my little one. My flexible schedule allows me to give pets lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and care throughout the day. We have a small fenced area perfect for potty time and a huge unfenced in backyard that we share with our neighbors for running around and playing. We love taking our dogs on walks and to the dog park and would love for your fur baby to join. We have a beautiful walking path that I go on most days. When caring for your dog at your home I am respectful of your home just like I would like someone to be at my home.
“Amy is great! She is reliable and excellent at communicating. She always sends me pictures of my dog when she visits and lets me know how she’s doing. I’m so glad I found her to check in on my girl while I’m at work.”

“Shelbi was SO amazing with our dog and cat. She went totally above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable that our pets were in the best care possible. We will absolutely be using her services again.”

About: I’ve worked at my mom’s grooming shop in Evergreen (soggy dog) every summer for the last 4 years, while petsitting for a lot of the dogs in my neighborhood. Personally, I have an elderly dachshund and a standard poodle puppy, so I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. It’d be a pleasure to take care of your pets! I’m currently a student at CU, but my schedule is pretty flexible. Inquire about what days I’m needed, and I can work with you! I can’t offer my own in-home services due to my college living situation, but I am obviously willing to take care of your pets in your own home. I have a car so I can arrive fast in case of emergency, and venture far if needed.
About: I have cared for animals my entire life, growing up around a wide variety of pets and continuing that care into adulthood. From a young age I have house sat and watched animals from my own home over the past 30 years. My experience includes horses, dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and lizards. I am comfortable with daily routines, individual personalities, and providing calm, attentive care to ensure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. My entire family loves animals and caring for them. They all contribute to loving and taking care of your furry family members. Special Skills & Care: Basic dog obedience training Bathing & basic grooming Leash walking & exercise Feeding & fresh water routines Administering basic care & monitoring health Experience with multiple animal types Calm, patient handling Following detailed care instructions Providing companionship & comfort Pet care fits very well into my daily routine. I am home every day from 2:30 PM through 8:00 AM, which allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and supervision for boarding pets. During this time, pets receive regular playtime, walks, and lots of affection and snuggles. On weekends, I am home full-time, with only occasional errands, ensuring pets are rarely left alone. I enjoy making animals part of my daily routine and prioritizing their comfort, safety, and happiness while in my care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I tailor care to each dog’s individual needs and routine. I have a good sized backyard with 6-foot privacy fence for secure outdoor play, with water and yard access available 24/7. Dogs are always supervised while outside. Inside my home, dogs are treated like family and are welcome anywhere I am. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space, I’m happy to crate when I’m not home or follow your normal routine. At night, dogs will sleep in a kennel or in a room with me, depending on what makes them most comfortable. I have other friendly pups who love to play, but I always introduce dogs slowly and can keep pets separated if your dog prefers one-on-one attention. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I adjust care to match their personality and needs. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own—providing a safe, loving, and structured environment so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾

Especially getting outside in nature and all that it provides us and our pets! Though I do not have dogs at the moment I miss getting them out on hikes, walks and play.. I would love to be able to provide that care with love and fun for your dogs. I’m primarily a stay at home mom. Although I do work very part time as a personal trainer as well as a yoga sculpt and CSX instructor. My schedule can be pretty flexible. About: We have been around dogs for a very long time. As a couple, my wife and I, got our first dog in our wedding trip. Since then, we could not live without at least one dog in the house. We owned an English Cocker Spaniel, an American Cocker Spaniel, a Lab mix, a Dachshund, an American yellow Lab. We currently own a chocolate merle American Cocker Spaniel. We also take care of cats. We are retired, and available at all times during the day to love and care for your dogs and cats. We are performing our duties seriously, without skipping over anything. We are extremely careful about dogs' and cats' safety. We have medical training and on walks / trips we carry a backpack with medical emergency supplies. We like to think ahead and be prepared for any situation.

“There are so many good things to say about Sandy. She is the most thorough pet sitter we have ever used! Sandy kept in touch with us and made sure our three cats were safe and comfortable in her care for a whole week. She is very kind and trustworthy - a true animal lover! Don’t hesitate, just book Sandy!!”

“Leah is always amazing when she watches my crazy heeler, Chester when I work long shifts! She has been very flexible about scheduling drop in visits and always lets me know how the visit went. As an added bonus, her dog Aspen is super friendly (and after asking permission and doing a meet and greet), she sometimes brings her dog with her, which gives my dog some socialization and play time! I am totally comfortable trusting her with my pooch and know he's in good hands.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
