“Taylor and Daniel are amazing! Super communicative and they sent lots of pictures throughout. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog with them and will use them in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Jaclyn did an amazing job watching my dog Bene. She was very attentive to all the information I provided and went out of her way to ask clarifying questions. I loved her daily updates with photos that made me feel at ease when I was missing my pup the most! I really loved how considerate and kind she was. Also, my dog came home happy and exhausted! He loved his walks, cuddles, and backyard time. Highly recommend!”

“Emily is an amazing sitter! My anxious little shelter pup was so happy and well cared for. She sent regular updates and treated him like her own. I’ll definitely be booking with Emily again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving & reliable sitter.”

“Sunnie was awesome! Super easy to talk to and coordinate! I loved getting the updates from how Mike and Patches were doing. Thank you! I will definitely use her again ❤️”

“I left my 6 month miniature schnauzer with Kristi for a week. We had a meet and greet prior and my little guy played so well with her dogs. She ended up sitting with another puppy part of his stay and she sent pictures of them playing together. Drop off and pick up were smooth. I think he played so much the week he pretty much slept most of the day when I picked him up. I would definitely consider using Kristi again.”

“So grateful for Mollie and family for their great care of our dog! He had a great time running around with Linus and Mollie sent regular updates to share with us how he was doing. Would book again!”

“Kelli and Larkin went above and beyond with watching our Millie while we were on vacation out of the country. They watched her for five days and provided us so many pictures and videos of updates including walks, snuggles and zoomies. During Millie’s stay, she was having some stomach issues, and they were so communicative with what was going on and even went and got Millie some chicken and rice, and were willing to take her to the vet. They have without a doubt been the best and most proactively communicative/engaging rovers we have had (even wrote a card “from” Millie when we picked her up detailing her stay 😭 ☺️). Looking forward to leaving Millie in their capable hands in the future!”

“Irina and her husband were absolutely amazing! They stepped in on short notice and took care of Freyja for four days, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. They were incredibly responsive, easygoing, and made both me and Freyja feel comfortable right away. I really appreciated the consistent updates. They sent plenty of photos and videos, which made being away so much easier. It was clear Freyja was happy, well cared for, and in great hands the entire time. Truly an 11/10 experience. I would 100% recommend booking with them and will definitely be reaching out again in the future!”

“My dog Butters had a great time at Margaret's! She did a great job communicating with me daily and sending so many fun pictures and videos. He even got to go on a hike, which he really enjoys.”

“Erin watched our energetic one and a half year old black lab Baxter and was great! She has 2 dogs herself and usually watches a handful of other dogs at the same time. Baxter loves other dogs so he had plenty of friends to play with. Thanks again Erin!”

“Oh my goodness if I could give 10 stars I would!!! I was so nervous to leave my puppy for the first time, but I’m a nurse who works night shift. Iuliia could not have been a more perfect host for my baby Phoebe! She played with her, put her to sleep, and sent me sooooo many pictures to put my mind at ease :). I had to stay late at the hospital and she was so understanding. Looking forward to Phoebe’s next stay there!”

“Daphne was SOO amazing at watching our dog Walter. She provided multiple updates each day (and so many great pics) and Walt looked like he had the best time with Daphne and her pup Oliver. We will definitely be booking her again for any and all of our Rover needs.”

“My Shih Tzu was very happy staying with Janet! She does a great job communicating and he was worn out after his visit since he had so much fun. I definitely would use Janet again.”

“Banjo had a great time! They were super flexible with date extensions, sending pictures, communications and overall being extremely accommodating. Will definitely be boarding with them in the future!”

“Snacks had such a great time!! Olivia, Ryan, and Archie are pros, they are a gem in the Denver area!!! You’ll get regular updates and the best care and attention. 💛”

“We love Amanda - she took such great care of Bucky! She went above and beyond to get him to eat (he’s a picky eater)! Provided lots of updates and photos each day too which was appreciated. We will definitely add her to our Rover rotation!”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was definitely a little nervous leaving Ginny with someone new. Erica made the entire experience incredibly easy. She was very responsive, communicated throughout the stay, and sent plenty of photos, which gave me a lot of confidence that Ginny was in great hands. Ginny is a very emotional, affectionate dog who needs a lot of love and reassurance, especially during thunderstorms. Erica recognized that right away and gave her the extra comfort and attention she needed, even spending time holding and comforting her when she was scared. That meant a lot to me because I knew Ginny was being cared for the same way I would care for her. I couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience, and I would absolutely book with Erica again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and trustworthy sitter.”

Blu took amazing care of my pup, Cali! She took her on several hikes and walks, sent tons of pictures and daily updates, and was always quick to respond. Cali was well cared for and very happy when I picked her up. I’d definitely recommend Blu to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pup!

Hilary was great with our dog! She was very accommodating for a meet and greet. She was flexible with our plans as they changed and was very understanding with our traveling and outside of service zones. She helped our pup get around on slick floors and was very caring and accommodating to his needs. He came home happy and tried so we know he had a good time. We will rebook again!

Our dog had a wonderful long weekend with Zory and Kent. They kept us very updated with many photos and followed all our instructions perfectly. Our old dog was so happy there and when we picked him up! I could tell they cared for him as part of their own family. We will be happy to have our dog stay with Zory & Kent again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
