“As always, amazing amazing sitting service ! Kelli and Larkin are my go-to pet sitters for my dog. Great communication, plenty of photos and updates. Thanks again !”

“Nick took care of our two mini dachshunds over the NYE holiday and it couldn’t have gone better! Their home is set up perfectly for small dogs and they immediately were excited to run around and play. We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs with him and were so happy to receive updates with photos daily! Our doggies slept the entire next day after we picked them up - a sign of a very good time!! We’ll definitely leave our dogs with Nick again.”

“Jaclyn did an amazing job watching my dog Bene. She was very attentive to all the information I provided and went out of her way to ask clarifying questions. I loved her daily updates with photos that made me feel at ease when I was missing my pup the most! I really loved how considerate and kind she was. Also, my dog came home happy and exhausted! He loved his walks, cuddles, and backyard time. Highly recommend!”

“Jennifer was absolutely wonderful watching our dog Zoey when we were on vacation. She sent pictures everyday and made her stay fantastic. We will be using Jennifer again since she was so wonderful!”

“Amanda is a great dog sitter. She sent us lots of photos and updates about Frappuccino. You can tell she really knows Shih Tzus, and Frappuccino was very happy with her. We would definitely love to hire her again. Thank you so much 😊”

“Our dog loves her time with Mitzi and Kliff's pack! It's always so sweet to get all the great pictures of all the adventures they have together! Thanks so much!”

“They are the best! Super flexible, great communication, and they take great care of my dog who can be a handful. My dog gets super excited to stay with them!”

“Betty had the best time staying with Hannah, and I got to follow along through all the photos she sent! I feel lucky to have found her, and confident leaving Betty with her in the future.”
“Jenny was a phenomenal sitter for our dog, Lumie! She is very experienced with dogs and gave us lots of cute pics and updates of her walks and time with Lumie. We will definitely use her again! Super responsive, flexible, friendly, and caring.”

“This was our first experience with Rover, and Janet was so helpful, responsive, and take great care of Lennox. He had a great time with other dogs, and we got updates along the way! Thank you Janet for taking such great care of our guy!!”

“Chloe and her lil fam were so wonderful to Teddy and he had the best time with them! Her pup was very patient and sweet with my baby boy, who isn’t always used to having other dogs around. He got plenty of exercise running around the yard and on walks. Teddy had the time of his life! Chloe even gifted us some freshly picked flowers when we picked him up which was so sweet!”

“Dana was amazing with my pup Honeybee: she was patient, kind, and full of cuddles! She was great with communication and really went above and beyond for my pup with how attuned she was to my dog’s needs. Additionally, her dog Loki was such a calm and composed gentleman even while mine was in a mood when they met. We could not have asked for a better sitter and a Honeybee didn’t want to leave when it was time for me to pick him up!”

“Kani was very nice and reassuring, sent me daily updates with many great photos of my Roxy. She clearly had a really good time and was happy and content. Definitely trust Kani with Roxy again!”

“Shawna was amazing. Joey is a great dog but he does come with a specific set of instructions and Shawna did an incredible job following them. I could tell immediately she helped Joey feel safe and calm and at home. You can always tell when a sitter is doing this for a few extra bucks versus when they are truly doing it for the love of dogs - Shawna is the latter. I received regular updates, pictures and questions (good questions). Shawna was incredibly accommodating and treated Joey like her own. Cannot more highly recommend - thank you Shawna!!!”

“Monty had a wonderful long weekend staying with Alicia, Kyle, their son and their pup Murray. Their home had a great setup for backyard play and they took such great care of Monty while we were out of town. We so appreciated the daily updates and know Monty will always be in great hands while staying with them. Highly recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wheat Ridge
Emily and her partner were absolutely amazing with Harvest while I was away on a business trip! I received regular daily updates with tons of photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Harvest and their dog Dale also got along great and had a blast together. They took excellent care of Harvest, including tending to a small sore on his foot and kept me well informed. To top it off, she was incredibly understanding and accommodating when my flight home got delayed. I highly recommend them and will 100% have them watch Harvest again! 🩷

Miranda and Sebastian took amazing care of our dog - so much so I don’t think he wanted to leave when we picked him up. They handled his quirks and medications flawlessly, and we could tell he was so happy and comfortable at their home (a miracle for this anxious dog)! Great communication and flexibility when our flight was delayed. I wish I could give them 10 stars!
Ireland was wonderful to work with! My dog, Penny had the best time with her and her two dogs. She didn't want to leave their house at the end of the weekend! Ireland was prompt with her responses and provided updates throughout Penny's stay. She is experienced with dog care and I felt very confident that Penny was in good hands. I would highly recommend Ireland for boarding services.

Jamie was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Boe has a bit of anxiety and I wa worried but it seems like I have more anxiety than him 🤣 Jamie constantly kept me up to date with pictures which honestly just made me feel so much better - felt like I was with him kinda still. I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for care for their doggy. As excited as Boe was to see me I’m not sure he wanted to leave at all🤣. Chris as a bonus human is just a huge plus as well. Boe loves with my fiancé and I and I thought this setting would be great for him as it’s similar to our current home set up. Upon picking him up, I was told how much of a good boy he was and how they couldn’t wait to see him again. Trust me - Boe can’t wait to see you guys again either. Truly a 10/10 experience.

Kathleen took such amazing care of Pancake! She sent us lots of updates and photos throughout the stay, which I really appreciated and gave me so much peace of mind. I could tell she genuinely treats every dog like one of her own, and it was clear that Pancake was happy, comfortable, and well loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kathleen again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
