About: I have been an animal lover my entire life — my very first pet was a poodle named Poodle, and I was two years old. Over the decades I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, fish, hermit crabs, hamsters, and gerbils, so whatever your pet needs, there's a good chance I've been there before. I spent nearly 30 years running a licensed home daycare in Westminster, which means I know how to keep a structured, safe, nurturing environment — the same qualities that make for exceptional pet care. Patience, consistency, and genuine attentiveness aren't new skills for me; they've been my full-time job for most of my adult life. I recently said goodbye to my large dog and my cat, both to old age. I still share my home with Dobby, my sweet senior Chihuahua mix, who is as gentle and welcoming as they come. Honestly, the house feels quieter without a full crew of animals in it — and that's exactly what brought me to Rover. I've cared for pets at every life stage — puppies, adults, and seniors — and am comfortable with a variety of needs including feeding routines, medications, and age-specific care. I'm a homebody who is fully present and attentive throughout the day. I'm up by 4:30am, which means early morning walks are something I genuinely enjoy — not just a checkbox. From there the day is structured around your pet's needs, with a balance of activity and rest. I take an afternoon walk as well as an evening wind-down walk, and my day wraps up around 9pm. Potty breaks happen as needed throughout. Your pet will have plenty of playtime, plenty of snuggle time, and a calm, consistent rhythm from morning to night. Your pet's safety is always front of mind. When we're out of the house I stay aware of our surroundings and avoid any situations that could cause stress or danger. At home, my large fenced backyard gives dogs room to roam freely without worry. I allow pets on furniture and in bed if that's what they're used to at home — my goal is to make them feel as comfortable here as they do with you.
About: I am a responsible young adult who has their own transportation. I love animals. I can't walk passed an animal without giving it some lovens.. I have been caring for animals since I was a child. My family and I currently have 2 dogs. Lulu and Buttercup Love aka ( BC Love) I have plenty of experience sitting with your fur babies while you are away. I have spent time with all breeds of dogs from Chihuahua's to Huskies. The parks provide plenty of space for outdoor time, along with dog toys, fresh water fountains, and waste bags. I always follow each owner’s preferences regarding dog parks, interactions with other dogs, walks, and outdoor activities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine and the owner’s instructions as closely as possible. This includes feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications or special care instructions, and whether their pet normally stays in a crate or is allowed to roam freely. I also treat every client’s home with care and respect. Communication is very important to me, so whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, I’ll provide regular updates and photos. I can let you know when they’ve eaten, had water, gone outside, used the bathroom, how their walk went, and how they’re doing overall. I’m also happy to communicate beforehand about your pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs and arrange a meet-and-greet when needed so both you and your pet can feel comfortable before their care begins.

About: Grew up in Montana on a “funny farm” where we always acquired animals that needed homes, we had cows, horses, chickens, rabbits, sheep, pigs, lots of dogs and cats, ferrets, hamsters, and even an emu at one point. I’m a single mom of three wonderful kids. I homeschool my kiddos, so we are home most of the time, that way I can also care for my own animals, but also I am available for pet sitting! I have a ranch style house, with a fenced yard and chickens in the backyard who free range, but can be enclosed if sitting a dog who is not chicken friendly. Overnight house sitting is tricky with kids, unless you are very close to Arvada, but I have a very flexible schedule and I’m always open to drop ins!
