“Jacque was wonderful with my senior dog! She sent updates, and when I came to pick Thelma up she was in the best mood. It's very obvious how much Jacque loves dogs and treats them like her own. 10/10 would recommend having her watch your dog!”
About: My husband and I were both raised with multiple dogs of varying sizes throughout our lives. Mostly with yorkshire terriers, bichon frises, labs, and collies. We have both done agility training with our dogs in the past & trained at home in basic tasks such as sit, stay, etc. I'm a therapist working from home Monday-Thursday & off Fridays. my partner Chris works in clinic Monday-Friday. Being around animals is a major form of self care for us, so we find it relaxing and fulfilling to care for these family members while you are away. We both have experience administering oral medication and watching special needs dogs as well. We work hard to build relationships with clients and their families in order to build a trusting bond with owners before and after caring for their pets. We also trade lodging for pet care on trusted house sitters as well & absolutely love it. I own my practice & am remote full time, I let my dog out every three hours, sometimes more often if I have less sessions. We have a beautiful reservoir we walk around every morning that’s about 1.75 miles round trip from our front door and back. We are home every few hours on weekends to let dogs out. Pets are allowed to roam throughout our townhome unless otherwise specified by the owner. Pets are allowed on all furniture. We have beard-friendly water bowls on each floor of our home. Our dog sushi is a good mixture of playful but can also be lazy & relaxed. Dogs can be let out hourly.
About: I have approximately 13 years experience providing dog Care. From puppies to senior care, I have an overwhelming love and respect for dogs. I have cared for many different breeds of dogs and I respect any and all requirements that pet parents give me while I am watching their dogs. I absolutely cannot wait to meet you and my new furry friends! I work remotely from home and on my off days. I have a wider timeframe for availability. If I can make it work with my schedule, I would love to care for your dog. My schedule is pretty flexible for boarding dogs. I have a large fenced yard That is escape proof. I have a border collie /heeler puppy that would love some new friends. I follow any and all rules that are given to me by pet parents. If they require anything from keeping them in a crate to taking them on multiple walks a day, to a special diet, to giving them extra special attention, whatever it is I’m here for it all! My house has been called the “Air B & B” for dogs. They won’t want to leave!!
“Kimber has taken care of our puppy, Lolo, on several occasions (day care and overnight boarding). While away on our family trip, Kimber kept us posted as to how Lolo was doing and sent pictures. We are extremely happy to have found a very caring sitter!!”

“Deborah is great! My dog came home happy and tired. She specializes in small dogs and I love that my dog can play with other dogs his size in a safe environment. Deborah provided lots of pictures and updates too which I really appreciated.”

About: I grew up loving dogs. I always had at least one dog in our house. Since then, I've volunteered with dogs for the past ten years. I've volunteered in human societies, with the dumb friends league, and for local community rescue events. Though I don't have my own dogs, because I travel too often, I love being around animals. I am available for quick match dog walks, dog walking, visits, and overnight dog sitting. I'm work from home and am very available, and looking forward to helping you out and meeting your dog. I promise to give your dog all of my love, attention, and pets. If your dog happens to be more active, that's great, and I'll be happy to take him or her for walk and runs per your request. I have a very flexible work from home schedule. I can plan my work around your pet's needs and am happy to adjust my time to fit my Rover obligations. I have a fenced in yard for your pet to explore and play in. I'll send updates throughout your pet's time with me to provide assurance and comfort, letting you know they're safe and happy.
About: Hi! I’m a reliable, animal-loving sitter with a genuine passion for caring for pets like they’re my own. I have two dogs at home, so daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and lots of love are already a big part of my everyday life. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. Because I have hands-on experience with my own dogs, I’m comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pup needs long walks, extra playtime, or just some cozy companionship, I’m happy to adjust to their needs. I also live with my boyfriend, so there are always two attentive and caring people in the home. That means your dog will never be left without supervision or care, even if one of us steps out, the other is there to make sure everything runs smoothly. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll treat them like part of the family and keep you updated so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away!
About: I genuinely enjoy caring for dogs and love being around them! I am attentive to individual needs, will follow instructions closely and keep owners updated as much as you want! I work from home full time so I have flexibility in my schedule and have plenty of time to take attentive care of your pup(s)! I can provide multiple potty breaks, daily walks, feeding as directed, and trips to the dog park. My partner (M) and I own a home with a fenced in yard as well as a big park across the street that will give your pups plenty of outdoor activities. I don’t have any pets in the house currently so your pup(s) will have plenty of love and attention! My partner will be home most of the time so please note, you pup(s) are ok with a male being around.
“Jasmin was great with our pup! She gave her lots of love and snuggles :) Jasmin was very easy and quick with her communications - we will definitely have Bear stay with her again!”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life — my very first pet was a poodle named Poodle, and I was two years old. Over the decades I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, fish, hermit crabs, hamsters, and gerbils, so whatever your pet needs, there's a good chance I've been there before. I spent nearly 30 years running a licensed home daycare in Westminster, which means I know how to keep a structured, safe, nurturing environment — the same qualities that make for exceptional pet care. Patience, consistency, and genuine attentiveness aren't new skills for me; they've been my full-time job for most of my adult life. I recently said goodbye to my large dog and my cat, both to old age. I still share my home with Dobby, my sweet senior Chihuahua mix, who is as gentle and welcoming as they come. Honestly, the house feels quieter without a full crew of animals in it — and that's exactly what brought me to Rover. I miss having pets to love and care for, and pet sitting feels like the perfect way to fill that space while giving your fur babies a warm, experienced home away from home. Westminster has been my home for nearly 30 years, and I'm excited to serve the pets and families right here in my community. My home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to roam, explore, and play. I love getting outside and have several parks within easy reach for walks and exercise. I've cared for pets at every life stage — puppies, adults, and seniors — and am comfortable with a variety of needs including feeding routines, medications, and age-specific care. I'm a homebody who is fully present and attentive throughout the day. I'm up by 4:30am, which means early morning walks are something I genuinely enjoy — not just a checkbox. From there the day is structured around your pet's needs, with a balance of activity and rest. I take an afternoon walk as well as an evening wind-down walk, and my day wraps up around 9pm. Potty breaks happen as needed throughout. Your pet will have plenty of playtime, plenty of snuggle time, and a calm, consistent rhythm from morning to night. Your pet's safety is always front of mind. When we're out of the house I stay aware of our surroundings and avoid any situations that could cause stress or danger. At home, my large fenced backyard gives dogs room to roam freely without worry. I allow pets on furniture and in bed if that's what they're used to at home — my goal is to make them feel as comfortable here as they do with you.

“This was my first rover experience and it was great! Ava was so great and super welcoming! My doggies had a great time and I would definitely be contacting Ava anytime I’m in the Denver area 🩷”

About: As a pet owner myself, I can guarantee your furr babies are in good hands. There hasn't been a time in my life I haven't owned and cared for animals. As I work at home it helps me to get out of the house, and hang out with amazing animals all day while still making some extra money. I make sure I have all of the information I need about the animals to avoid any trouble. I like to send hourly, 10 second check in videos, to help owner feel relief for the safety of the animals in care.
“I cannot recommend this family enough! They have a great house setup and truly treated my dog like a member of their own family. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting plenty of walks and playtime. Now, whenever we pull up to their house, my dog gets so happy and excited to go inside. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby!”

“Lauren did a wonderful job watching Izzy! Izzy is very particular about who watches her and she took to Lauren as a member of the family. I had photo updates and she was very flexible with my work schedule when I had sudden changes. I will definitely use Lauren again.”

About: I've loved dogs since I was a teenager, dog-sitting for friends in the military community. After active duty I got my own dog immediately — it had to be a Vizsla! Now I have a chihuahua and appreciate the uniquness of each breed. I hold a Master's degree in Integrative Health Sciences and bring that same attentiveness and care to every animal in my home. I treat each dog as the unique individual they are, learning their personality, preferences, and quirks. Your fur baby won't just be watched — they'll be genuinely cared for. I work as a life coach and fitness instructor, so I have a flexible schedule and am home much of the day. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, and daily exercise — not just a place to sleep! I provide conscientious care and honor your wishes for your pet. I know what it is like to have a bad experience with a dog sitter, and I never want to cause a negative encounter. I want you and your pet to have the best experience working with me!
About: Hi my fellow fur loving friends! I have been an animal lover as long as I can remember and grew up with dogs and cats my entire life. My friends and family truly call me animal whisperer. I promise to care for your fur babies just as I care for my own boys, Cooper and Jasper. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone around for company, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved! I work from home, so your pets can get plenty of attention, snuggles, and companionship throughout the day. My community has beautiful sidewalks that are perfect for walks, and there is an off-leash dog park extremely close by for pups who love to run and play. One thing to note: I do not have a fenced-in yard, so outdoor time at home would always be supervised and on-leash. However, we have great walking paths right outside my door and a dog park nearby for extra exercise and playtime. Go ahead and request a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s the perfect fit! I can’t wait to meet you and your pups and/or kitties and give them all the love and attention they deserve.
“Sam is always the best!! Elphege loves going over for daycare and is so well cared for. Sam sends tons of photos and he’s always having a blast in them.”

Ava has been taking care of my 8-month-old puppy this past week, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. She is always prompt, responsive, and incredibly flexible. Throughout the day, she provides thoughtful updates and plenty of pictures, which gives me peace of mind and makes it so much easier to leave my puppy in someone else’s care. It’s clear that Ava genuinely cares about the pets she looks after and I can tell my puppy has a lot of fun in her care! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter!

Chris is absolutely outstanding! I feel so safe leaving my pup with him, knowing he is getting so much exercise and attention. I know my pup will be safe and so well taken care of! The plethora of pictures also help to know your pup is doing well throughout the day. My pup struggles to pace himself throughout the day, and Chris does a wonderful job helping to ensure he does not over exhaust himself. Thank you, Chris! Looking forward to sending Goose for years to come!

Coleslaw couldn’t have had a better inaugural Rover experience. Two kind and accommodating individuals that braved the cold so Coleslaw could play in the snow, while taking many pictures documenting the wonderful time he had. The bar cannot be set any higher. Thanks Jackie & Eli for a fun afternoon!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Sherrelwood commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
