Happiness is a warm puppy
I've had dogs my whole life. Small dogs, amputees, pitties, very large dogs, farm dogs, all kinds. I have experience with puppies, and with dogs who are not always well behaved when leashed. I am so lucky to have 3 food motivated cats which has allowed me to train them as if they were puppies--they know sit, stay, stand, up, down, be quiet, fetch, closer (with regard to fetch), along with the names of many toys. I will treat your puppy like my own, and I am available rain or shine.

Ava has been taking care of my 8-month-old puppy this past week, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. She is always prompt, responsive, and incredibly flexible. Throughout the day, she provides thoughtful updates and plenty of pictures, which gives me peace of mind and makes it so much easier to leave my puppy in someone else’s care. It’s clear that Ava genuinely cares about the pets she looks after and I can tell my puppy has a lot of fun in her care! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter!
Ava continues to be amazing, and is our go-to now! We trust her with our 2 cats, and with all of the different medications and care they need. She is caring, communicative, professional, and we could not ask for more!
This was our second time having Ava watch our 2 cats, and it was just as seamless and easy as the first time! She communicates daily, sends great pictures, handles medications and food schedules perfectly, and asks questions when she has them. We feel very comfortable when we're away, knowing the cats are with her! We highly recommend!
Ava was one of our best experiences to date using Rover! She took such great care of our two cats, both of whom require medications and supplements regularly. She was extremely thoughtful in preparing a great space for them, and was very communicative about how the stay was going. We will definitely use Ava again, and we highly recommend her to anyone.
Wow Ava takes her job very seriously, and it shows through every interaction as well as how much my dogs love her! I have some special care dogs, one being very nervous and one can be reactive. She handled them beautifully without any issues. They didn't want to leave her house to come home! She is extremely professional and for sure the highest quality care I have met from Rover.
Ava was amazinggg! She took Cada on many long walks, did “art projects”, and sent us soo many fun pictures! It’s very clear that she cares deeply about making dogs comfortable and owners informed during her sitting. Would absolutely recommend!!

Schedule
My schedule is extremely flexible. Bad weather is no problem, I'd love to go on a snow walk with your doggy. I like to maintain your dog's usual eating and exercising routines.

Safety, trust & environment
I maintain a safe environment for pets inside of my own home and my neighborhood is safe for taking doggies on walks, sometimes one of my kitties will join us in her stroller. I'm not willing to board dogs that are aggressive towards cats in my own home. I have pet cats inside of my home and community cats that come to my house daily to eat. I have experience with "runners," i.e. dogs that sprint away from you if they get off of their leash--I am confident I can keep your dog safely on a leash but it's important that I know of this behavior ahead of our walks. Please let me know of any known behavior concerns such as running away, resource guarding, dog aggression, lunging at bikes, weird around children, etc..

A typical day
There are many parks around my neighborhood, sometimes I pass up to four parks on a single walking route! We love to stroll through and watch the squirrels. I take boarded/daycare doggies on walks up to 6 miles per day, depending on the needs and abilities of the dog.
