I own my practice & am remote full time, I let my dog out every three hours, sometimes more often if I have less sessions. We have a beautiful reservoir we walk around every morning that’s about 1.75 miles round trip from our front door and back. We are home every few hours on weekends to let dogs out.

Information Rhiana H. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences, but would want to know what the dog likes to do for fun, how the dog is around other animals (if we go to the park, is it okay if he's close to other dogs, or should we keep our distance?), how the pup is with new human friends (me), signs of distress that may not be common/obvious, etc.
A typical day
We live around the Berkeley area, but absolutely love finding new parks around the city if your pup needs a lot of space to run and play.

Pet care experience
My husband and I were both raised with multiple dogs of varying sizes throughout our lives. Mostly with yorkshire terriers, bichon frises, labs, and collies. We have both done agility training with our dogs in the past & trained at home in basic tasks such as sit, stay, etc. I'm a therapist working from home Monday-Thursday & off Fridays. my partner Chris works in clinic Monday-Friday. Being around animals is a major form of self care for us, so we find it relaxing and fulfilling to care for these family members while you are away. We both have experience administering oral medication and watching special needs dogs as well. We work hard to build relationships with clients and their families in order to build a trusting bond with owners before and after caring for their pets. We also trade lodging for pet care on trusted house sitters as well & absolutely love it.

Reviews

Rhiana was exactly what we want in a sitter: reliable, communicative, and cared a lot about our pups! We have pretty high maintenance fur kids and she was happy to meet any and all of their needs. She was also proactive about things they were out of and helped with cleaning. She went above and beyond!

Rhiana was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was dependable, communicative and flexible with our schedule. We have a timid cat, and she went above and beyond to takes measures to bond with him. Will absolutely have her cat sit for us again!
My Pom jumped from my arms to hers as soon as I opened the door at our meet and greet. Boy, was that ever a resounding seal of approval. Rhiana did exactly as asked and my little Pom absolutely loved her. I will definitely hire her again.

Rhiana is great! Extremely sweet, and both myself and the dogs felt instantly comfortable when we met her. She is always sending me pictures of both of the dogs when she comes to pick them up on walks, and they always seem very happy to see her :)
