That’s Brad! And that’s Kim! We love animals and would love to visit yours at your home or invite them to stay at ours! Growing up, we both always had pets, including dogs, cats, fish, rats, and snakes. Brad even had horses as a kid! As an adult, we have raised puppies, kittens, and fish into senior-hood and across the rainbow bridge. We truly appreciate and enjoy every stage of life of a pet. Pets are a part of the family and we will treat your pet as our own with lots of scritches and play time! We have also had backyard chickens for almost 10 years so we’re comfortable checking in on chickens/ducks, giving food, changing water, and collecting eggs. In her free time, Kim is a soccer-playing soccer mom spending her time either on the field or cheering on the sidelines! Brad is an avid gardener, especially amazing at growing tomatoes and spicy peppers, and enjoys playing racquetball!

Highly recommend Kimberly and her family! They took wonderful care of Riley, kept us updated with photos and messages, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. They went above and beyond to make sure he took the vitamins he needs and felt safe even though he can be a little anxious. We would happily book with them again.

Schedule
Due to our opposing work schedules, we are available pretty much every day of the week. Kim works full-time during the week. She is available for quick weekday morning visits, before 8 am, and longer visits on weekday evenings and weekends. Brad is a stay-at-home Dad and substitute teacher at our kids school on weekdays and works full-time on the weekends. He is available all day on weekdays unless he has a sub job shift!

Safety, trust & environment
At home, we have a 3.5’ tall fenced yard. Our dog has no interest in jumping it, but some dogs do. When we have watched dogs at our home previously, we always bring the pet over to allow them to get a feel for the yard and the home (and us!). We also have a strictly indoor cat so we’re very aware of specific instructions. Kim has also cared for many senior cats who had specific feeding instructions, like being fed a can of wet food a day or certain cats needing to be fed separately.
Pets
A typical day
We love taking walks with dogs and playing ball or fetch with those that love it. We could throw a ball for a dog all day and wish that our own would play fetch! We also give dogs time to actually smell scents and get the mental stimulation that gives them when walking.
