“Anthony took great care of our kitties while we were away! He was super communicative and sent daily updates which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience with Anthony and will definitely rebook with him in the future!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I am familiar with all personalities, sizes, ages and happy to meet them where they are at. Let me help make them comfortable while you’re away! My work schedule is flexible and when I’m not traveling for work, I’d like to spend my time helping with your pet, whether it’s walking, dropping in and keeping them company. I have a fenced in yard and if my dog gets along well with yours, I’d be happy to watch your dog in my home.
“Tina was amazing with Loki while we were away for the weekend. She’s obviously been around dogs with different dispositions, and was comfortable with our big, nervous pup. There was a glitch with another caretaker having Loki on a walk when Tina arrived to be with Loki. When Tina couldn’t find Loki, she contacted me immediately then talked to our neighbor to see if she knew where he might be. She did everything perfectly! I will definitely ask Tina to help again and highly recommend her to others.”

“Carli is awesome! She did a great job while I was away taking care of the crew here. Gus, Pippa, and Murphy were all very happy with her services! I would highly recommend!”

“Lali is amazing and incredible at what she does. My super shy shelter cat warmed up to her right away and definitely missed her after. Lali is also extremely communicative, thorough, and reliable. We felt like our cat was in great hands and would definitely book her again!”

About: Hi there! All my life I have been an animal lover and for the last 8 years I have raised my own dog, and taken care of other dogs for families I used to babysit for. I can fit in any lifestyle your pet has, whether they are active or a stay-at-home. I can fit any accommodation as I work from home, love to exercise (so your dog would get plenty of it, if need be), and I'm incredibly flexible and will be normally free to help you more than not. At the same time, I raised my dog since she was a puppy so I do have experience with younger, more energetic dogs and overall I would simply love to help and treat your dogs like family. I hope we can talk soon! I'm super flexible and work from home at the moment so I basically can take care of your dogs whenever you may need it. I will certainly be more free for your dog rather than not! I will care for your pet in your home however you see fit. I do what is asked and can fit any accommodation whether your dog has a lot of needs, or simply needs a walk and some playtime. I'm happy to help however it may be!
“Victoria is responsive and dependable whenever we need her, even in last minute situations. She is great with our dog who requires a bit more care then most and we will absolutely continue to use her!”

“J'Ana has a lot of love for dogs, and is trying lots of things to stimulate my aussie. She's been just wonderful, and I really appreciate her techniques with dogs, and how quickly she responds to requests for visits. We hope that we will have her as a long time sitter for our dog.”

“Benji was amazing with our three pups for a last minute booking. He is communicative with frequent updates and attentive to the pups’ needs. We were so relieved he showed up for our fur family!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of dogs and cats, from playful puppies to shy and reactive pets. I’ve done everything from daily drop-ins to long-term house sitting and boarding in my home, so I’m confident handling different routines, temperaments, and care needs. I focus on creating a calm, reliable environment where pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their people are away. My goal is always to keep your pet’s schedule consistent and make their time with me feel like a second home. “I’m a full-time student, but pet care fits naturally into my routine. I can provide overnight care, morning walks, and check-ins throughout the day between classes. I’m home most days after 4 pm, so pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and consistency. On weekends, I am home full-time, lots of time for playing, naps, and going out on adventures if that fits into your pet's lifestyle! In my apartment, your pet can be crated or free-roam based on their needs. I live in an apartment and there are no other animals. All outdoor time is always on-leash and closely supervised, your pet and I can play at the park across the street, with lots of grass! My goal is to create a calm, comfortable space where your pet feels secure and cared for.
“Emily was so easy-going and communicative. It’s really nice to receive all the updates so we know everything’s going as planned. She was really sweet with our big dog Otis”

About: I’ve had dogs all throughout my life and have now adopted a Labrador puppy of my own. He’s a crazy little guy so I feel like it’s qualified me to work with dogs that have all types of personalities. I’ve recently graduated and am looking for jobs, so I am completely flexible with my time. Besides caring for my own pup, I can be right there for your pets whenever you need! I have a small fenced yard that’s made life easier with my puppy, but I also take him on frequent walks. He eats well and has too many toys to count. He gets treated like a king! If I were trying to find someone on Rover to care for him, I would want the same treatment – and that is what you’ll get from me!
“Lia was wonderful checking in on our pup while I was out of town. She was on time and did a great job keeping him company. Easy to communicate with and has a flexible schedule that made it easy to book her. Would recommend her for sure!”

“She was absolutely wonderful! We had a booking fall through very last minute and she came to our emergency rescue so quickly! She answered right away, was able to come to the dogs within an hour of us needing her help! Not only was she was super sweet, helpful, respectful, come to our rescue and responsive she treated my dogs with so much kindness! She kept me updated every step and took lots of pictures! She will definitely be our go to for the future. Thank you so much! Definitely put my heart at ease since this was my first watch! 100% recommend!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved them my entire life. During the school year at college, I miss having one around more than almost anything, so summers back home in California are my chance to be around dogs as much as possible. I work as a walker and sitter for a local dog walking company, bringing genuine experience and a lot of enthusiasm to every walk and stay. I am currently a student at CU Boulder but typically only have morning classes. I have full availability on the weekends and on Tuesdays and Thursday’s I’m fully available after 9:15 am! Monday and wensday I’m available after 11! I always prioritize safety by creating a calm and secure environment for pets. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, ensure fresh water, safe playtime, clean spaces, and lots of attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own, building trust through consistency, patience, and care.
About: I've taken care of dogs most of my life, as an owner and to help out friends and neighbors. I have owned two large Labrador retrievers and a lab-pit bull mix, and currently own a 10 yr-old chihuahua/terrier mix. I am an avid walker and will take your dog on the long walks he/she needs. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule. I work from home most days and can fit my schedule around the dog's needs (regular walks, potty breaks, etc.). I will keep your dog on a leash during all walks, and aim to walk in low traffic areas of your neighborhood. I will speak with you in advance regarding whether your dog is okay to socialize with other dogs (i.e. on walks or at the park). I will keep an eye on your dog during all potty breaks and ensure that any items that might be dangerous to your dog within your home are kept out of reach at all times. I will speak with you in advance to understand the needs of your dog, and any risks that you account for in your home and the surrounding neighborhood.

Honore did a great job! Quickly developed a rapport with my stranger-averse dogs during the initial meet and greet so I could leave knowing that they were in good hands. Provided complete updates for each the pets (food and water intake, the extent of their 'business' and their activity) at every visit. Sent great photos! My older dog looked like he was having the best time in all his photos, and I think he may be been a little disappointed when we came home and weren't his new friend coming to walk him! I hope Honore is available the next time we travel.

Falecia is amazing! She takes such great care of our dog, and is always prompt and communicative. We love that we get photo updates when she comes for a walk. She also looks out for our house by bringing packages inside which we greatly appreciate. Thank you Falecia!

Addisen was a fantastic pet sitter for my little girl! She provided excellent communication throughout the stay and sent wonderful photos that gave me peace of mind and made my day. I could tell my pup was well cared for and happy. I would absolutely hire Addisen again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.

Samantha was professional, friendly and personable. She took extra great care of my pets!! I felt very at ease leaving her in charge. She went above and beyond. She took pics and sent a note everyday as well. I appreciate having had met such a caring sitter through Rover and will definitely contact again if she is available!

Hanna did an amazing job from start to finish! She took the time to meet my dog ahead of time to make sure she was comfortable with her and was super patient. Best thing about Hanna is her communication! She’s was super responsive throughout the whole process. I highly recommend her to anyone and will for sure be booking again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
