“This was the first time our 2 dogs have been away from us. Karla and family took wonderful care of them. Walking them and sending us cute pictures that eased our minds. Thank you so much! See you next time Skyler and Hops”

“My pup came home happy, healthy and well taken care of! I’m so grateful for the text and photo updates. It made me feel very connected even though I was away for the weekend. It seemed like Margie’s family adored my little fluff and it’s comforting to know he was loved and cherished.”

About: I’ve had a lifelong love for animals and a natural connection with both dogs and cats and bring over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From energetic puppies who need structure and playtime to senior pets who need patience and comfort, I know how to adapt to each animal’s unique needs. At home, I share life with my goofy golden retriever and a sassy tuxedo cat, who both love other animals. My approach is calm, reliable, and intuitive, I take the time to make every pet feel safe, loved, and understood. I can help with training, daily walks, or providing company while you’re away, and I’ll treat your pets like family and keep you updated every step of the way. I work from home so have flexibility in my daily routine. Most afternoons and evenings in particular work well for me for any type of care. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I focus on creating an environment that matches each animal’s personality and comfort level. I have plenty of engaging ways to channel energy for playful or high energy pets, through walks, games, training reinforcement, or enrichment toys while also providing patience and affection for mellow or cuddly companions who prefer a slower pace. I will treat your pets and your home with the same respect I would give mine!
“Tigran took great care of Bruce! I got lots of videos of Bruce living his best life with Tigran's dogs. They ran and played in lots of bodies of water. Tigran was really flexible with drop off and pickup times. He even picked Bruce up on his way to hike with the dogs. We appreciate that on a busy travel day! Thank you Tigran.”

“Olivia was amazing! I’ve had a lot of rover sitters and Olivia might be my favorite. My dog Elle had just had stitches and I was afraid to leave her with anyone but Olivia not only took care of her like she was her own dog but also made sure all the meds and steps I asked were taken perfectly! My dog had the best time and I was able to turn off my worries for a few hours!”

About: Hi! I’m Simone, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 16 years, from high-energy puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I treat every animal like family—whether it’s cuddling on the couch, going for long walks, or managing medications and mealtime routines. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—I genuinely enjoy being around animals and make caring for them a priority in my schedule. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening playtime, I organize my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I also keep the home clean, secure, and tidy, and I send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

“The most caring, attentive, communicative and easy going sitter I've ever had. She sent photos, status updates and when Zaya wouldn't eat (because she was so nervous to be away from home), she asked about ways to entice her to eat and successfully got her to gobble up her meals. And when my plans changed last minute, she was able to accommodate us for an extra night without any issues. Very grateful to have found a dedicated sitter I can trust so much 🥰”

Olivia was amazing! I’ve had a lot of rover sitters and Olivia might be my favorite. My dog Elle had just had stitches and I was afraid to leave her with anyone but Olivia not only took care of her like she was her own dog but also made sure all the meds and steps I asked were taken perfectly! Marlow took care of my dog for 8 days at her home, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. One of the things I appreciated most was the daily updates. She sent photos and messages every single day, which meant so much to me because I missed my dog and loved knowing how he was doing. She kept me informed about his activities and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My dog absolutely loved her large, beautiful backyard. We visited before his stay, and he was already having the best time exploring it. She also took him to the creek, which he loved! It was clear that she spent a lot of quality time with him, giving him plenty of exercise, attention, and cuddles. Her roommate was also incredibly kind and clearly cared about my dog, which made me feel even more comfortable leaving him in their care. She has a lot of experience handling large dogs with leash reactivity. My dog is a 98-pound Pitbull/Lab mix, and she knew exactly how to work with him and manage his needs confidently and safely. Her experience really showed throughout his stay. I am so grateful for the care, communication, and love she gave my dog. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and caring dog sitter!

Tigran did an incredible job watching our dogs for two days! His communication was excellent throughout the entire stay, keeping us perfectly updated and at ease. He has a great natural instinct with dogs, and it showed. Our pups came home incredibly relaxed and calm. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would highly recommend Tigran to anyone looking for a fantastic, trustworthy pet sitter.

Maddy is an excellent dog sitter. She provided detailed updates with thoughtful photos every day, and was very responsive in her communication. You can tell that she truly cares about animals and their wellbeing. Our dog had a great time staying with her, and we were so relieved that our dog was in safe hands. We highly recommend Maddy for pet care!

Margaret was phenomenal with our 7 month old puppy Pickles! This was our first time having Pickles stay with someone else while we were away and we are so grateful for Margaret taking such good care of her and being so flexible when our flight got delayed coming home. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Sean and Kim are wonderfully warm towards dogs, and we felt very comfortable leaving our precious dog with them. It is the best “home away from home” we could hope for. Cora was well exercised and quite content with her stay, and “forgave us” the sin of leaving her behind when we traveled much easier than usual. Will book again, big thanks to both of you!

Kaitlyn was an amazing help! She went above and beyond to ask questions and scheduled a little meet and greet with Margo ahead of her stay. She also was very communicative and responsive with updates and jumped quickly to scoop up additional needed items (forgotten by us in our hurry to leave for a trip!) Very thankful for her care and assistance.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
