About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I've spent over a decade caring for pets and volunteering at animal shelters, and I love getting to know each animal's unique personality and figuring out what makes them feel comfortable and happy. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and more, including senior pets and pets with medical or behavioral needs. At the shelter, I've taught classes on handling small animals, trained new volunteers, and worked as a camp counselor teaching kids how to safely interact with animals. I've also received extensive training in animal body language, behavior, and safe handling. About: I grew up with my puppy who was 1 year older than me and made me the animal lover I am today. In my teens I adopted and trained two more dogs and always helped out neighbors when they needed a dog walker or pet sitter, watching all kinds of animals of all different ages! I currently work part time on weekends and paint during the week so I make my own schedule most of the time and have plenty of time to take care of animals!!! I am originally from mexico so I am fluent in both English and Spanish in case you have a Hispanic fella :) I have experience babysitting with families with dogs, and grew up with a big dog of my own so I know all about what it takes to properly care for the big guys too.
