About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12, but there’s never been a moment in my life where I haven’t owned an animal. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. From six puppies to two full grown Great Pyrenees’s, I’ve done it all! I also have lots of experience with cats, with people saying I can get the meanest cat to love me. I naturally get up early so there’s no need to worry about me arriving late. About: I've been taking care of friends and neighbor's dogs since I was 16 and I love meeting new furry friends! I am highly familiar with active dogs, young dogs, and dogs with specialty diets/feeding routines. I am experienced in dealing with dogs with medical issues, and how to deal with medical emergencies in a calm and effective manner. I am a college student at CU Boulder, and am in classes most of the day Mon-Thurs. During the weekends I am very free, and enjoy going on hikes/runs and spending time reading and doing homework at home. This makes caring for pets on weekends very easy, as I spend a lot of time hanging out at home, and spending time outside, which is good for both active dogs, and dogs who enjoy more slow paced days. In my clients homes, I place a focus on attention on meeting individual pet needs, from midnight potty breaks, to lots of active play to keep dogs intellectually stimulated. I tend to keep a strict routine (eating, walking, sleeping at the same time) for pets but I am also very flexible to unique requests for pets.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, primarily caring for cats and dogs. My experience includes dog walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic routines, and cleaning litter boxes. I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.

About: I’ve taken care of animal ever since I was a young kid. Family, friends, neighbors, etc have relied on me to take care of their pets! I play with, feed, and walk with them! I’m currently a full-time student a CU Boulder studying physiology. I have plenty of time in the morning, afternoon, and evening to take care of your pets! I have a dog park right behind me and surrounded by nature trails that the Pet's absolutely love. Also very close to Valmont Dog Park!
