Cat Sitting Eldorado Springs

About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats ever since I was born, and have continued to surround myself with them into my adult life. I frequently help out at shelters and have recently branched out to start cat and dog-sitting. I also have two feline friends of my own, who I have had for around three years now :) I take care of my cats throughout the day (feeding, cleaning, and playing with them). About: I’ve been around dogs ever since I was born. I’ve sat dogs through ........ before. I love all animals and will always respect their space, emotions, and boundaries. I go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15-1:30. I own a cat so I feed him in the mornings and hangout with him the rest of the day. On Mondays I go to an elementary school for the day. Wednesdays I go to the school for a half day. Fridays I’m always free so I have plenty of time to hang out with my cat and other pets! I have an unfenced yard but plenty of space to walk a dog. I live next to a baseball field that’s fenced and acts as a dog park in our neighborhood. I also live by numerous trails and hiking paths readily available for use. Your dog will get exercise daily and plenty of love and attention while be safe!
