“We have had Nikki pet sit a few times for a few days for our cat Joey and she has always been great. This time it was for 2 weeks and since Joey has many sides to his personality I was hoping he would be a cooperative cat. Nikki was great with him. He seemed to enjoy his time spent with her and he was very content when we got home. Nikki's communication was wonderful with detailed updates after each visit so I knew Joey was well taken care of. The house also looked great and all our mail and packages were taken in and plants cared for. We will definitely be having her pet sit again and highly recommend her.”

“Linnea did a wonderful job taking care of our cats! She was very responsive and flexible. Our cats were calm and well adjusted when we arrived home.”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I am familiar with all personalities, sizes, ages and happy to meet them where they are at. Let me help make them comfortable while you’re away! My work schedule is flexible and when I’m not traveling for work, I’d like to spend my time helping with your pet, whether it’s walking, dropping in and keeping them company. I have a fenced in yard and if my dog gets along well with yours, I’d be happy to watch your dog in my home.
“Jennifer was great! My kitty is still adjusting to his new home and she was patient and very detailed with her check-ins. I will definitely be hiring Jennifer again when I am out of town.”

“Lali is amazing and incredible at what she does. My super shy shelter cat warmed up to her right away and definitely missed her after. Lali is also extremely communicative, thorough, and reliable. We felt like our cat was in great hands and would definitely book her again!”

About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.
“Margie is amazing. She is loving and kind and so caring. Rocky loves when she gets times with her. I do as well. Love her energy so much. Grounding and kind. Highly recommend Margie.”

About: All dogs are welcome for short stays. For longer stays, fit dogs only. I hike frequently and I'm only interested in petsitting dogs who are competent athletes and would love to join. We'll have an adventure! I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a 5lb Chorkie named Norman. He loves dogs and cats of all sizes and needs more friends. He has hiked up to 18mi at a time with his own legs and would love to do it with dog friends. I also have a cat, Archie. He loves well-behaved dogs. He does not like to be barked at. I have a yard where I can let dogs play, and I work for a pet toy and treat manufacturer. I work from home and can be available all day on weekdays and evenings. I'm away every 4th weekend and unavailable for pet sitting. Word. I have a fenced yard where dogs can play and I live right next to a park. I love hiking and snowshoeing and biking. I would be happy to take a bigger dog on adventures with me if I have any planned.
About: I currently work as an animal care attendant at a local dog day care and boarding facility. I have also had former experience caring for animals by volunteering at the Humane Society for over a year and a half and from previous dog sitting jobs. I specialize in dog care, but enjoy taking cat care opportunities as well. I am currently working part time and have extensive flexibility throughout weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I am able to fit pet care into my daily routine as my shifts are never very long, so I will be able to spend lots of time with your furry friends! I consider myself extremely attentive to pets and work hard to provide the care and love that your dog needs. I also enjoy long walks and am willing to go on as many as your pet may require based on their own personal needs. I will treat your home with respect and follow instructions just as you lay them out. Your dog will be happy and your home will be clean and ready to welcome you back when you return.
“Maja has come over to check on our dogs while we were at work a few times. One of our two is a high energy husky, and one is an older cattle dog mix. She seemed to be very sweet with both of them when we met her! She sent us picture updates during the visits, and made sure they had water, bathroom breaks, and some attention before she left. She seems very kind and trustworthy. We will be booking with her again in the future!”

About: I have been a dedicated pet owner and caregiver for over 5 years. Aside from caring for my own dogs, I have extensive experience pet-sitting for neighbors and friends, ranging from high energy puppies to senior dogs that need gentle care and medication. I pride myself on being observant of an animals body language to ensure that they always feel safe and happy. Whether it’s playing fetch in the park for your dog or providing a calm environment for a shy cat, I treat every animal as if they were mine. I am currently a student at CU Boulder, and I have class typically 1-3 times a day, ranging from only 1 hour to 3 and a half on busier days. My schedule is very broken up throughout the day, with my longest stretch of class being from 3:30-6 on Thursdays. Besides that I’d be able to let a pet out every 2 hours if needed. I prioritize safety and respect above all else when caring for pets in your home. I am highly detail focused and will strictly follow your home’s security protocols, ensuring things like doors are locked and alarms are set exactly as you instruct me to. When on walks, I pay close attention to your dog, keeping a strong grip on the leash and avoiding interactions with other dogs to keep your pet safe and prevent them from eating anything they shouldn’t. I am always happy to send frequent pictures/videos as well as updates while caring for your pet. My goal is always to maintain the normal routine of your pet so as to not stress them out anymore than they need to from being away from you!
About: Hello! My name is Megan, and I recently received my master’s degree from CU Boulder. As I search for a full-time position, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend some time helping care for your pets. My main goal of being on Rover is to gain experience with dogs so that I can be prepared to adopt my own someday! To help me gain confidence and comfortability for achieving that goal, I would work best with smaller size dogs. I’m also happy to spend time with older dogs that may just want some companionship, attention, and a calm presence while their owners are away. While I haven’t owned a dog myself, I’ve helped care for friends’ dogs over the years. I’m dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. I’d love to learn more about your pet and how I can help! I’m currently job searching, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the day and week for pet care. We can work something out and I will adjust my schedule as needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to follow the owner’s routine and instructions as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and cared for. I’m very mindful and respectful of household rules, including where I’m allowed in the home, feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific care instructions. I also make sure pets get attention, playtime, and companionship during my visit.
About: I have 2 dogs and have been taking care of them my whole life. I have also helped out family friends with their animals while on they are gone. I love animals and would love to help out with yours! I have a very flexible schedule and can be available at any point. I am available to stay the night to watch the animals or be there in the morning, afternoon, and evening to feed or walk them! I love to cuddle and play with the pups. I will make sure they have food and water at the needed times and give them a walk when they are antsy.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12, but there’s never been a moment in my life where I haven’t owned an animal. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. From six puppies to two full grown Great Pyrenees’s, I’ve done it all! I also have lots of experience with cats, with people saying I can get the meanest cat to love me. Animals truly hold such a special place in my heart, so I’d be happy to take care of yours! I currently have a freelancing job, which allows me to take care of your pet at any time! I naturally get up early so there’s no need to worry about me arriving late. I have primarily pet sit at others homes, and each time I make sure to familiarize myself with the pets routine to ensure a stress-free visit!
About: I have worked with animals both in a personal capacity and professional, and take the care of any animals seriously. As a former pet store manager, I was required to know the details of all animal care and services, including training and recognizing behavior. I have 3 cats of my own and work with dogs every single day. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m a certified trainer at PetSmart! While I don't offer private training outside of PetSmart, I am an experienced dog handler. I have plenty of time outside of work to help care for others animals. When I'm not working with pets, I'm writing or spending time with my own pets. I am a respectful house guest and will treat your pets and your home as if they were my own. I appreciate detailed and direct instruction when it comes to specific pet needs and entrance to the home if I am doing a stop in or walk.
