About: My dog is my top priority, and yours will be too! I’m able to take your dog on hikes, runs, and have some fun time with my almost 2 year old husky/heeler mix. Lots of cuddles, exercise, and fun time, while ensuring proper dog to dog boundaries. I have experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors. I work from home full time, and so am able to provide care for your pets throughout the day. I am unable to care for dogs under 1 year old. Additionally your dog must be: 1) dog friendly, with no history of aggression towards dogs 2) people friendly 3) house trained 4) sleeps through the night I have a fenced yard and one playful two year old husky/heeler mix. Care can include yard play time, leashed walks, hikes, or runs, depending on the needs of your dog! I am also able to keep up with training and obedience with your dog, whether that includes reactivity, leash walking, jumping etc. A meet and greet is required before I am able to book new dogs.

About: I’ve always been an animal whisperer in general, but cats have been even more direct than dogs in letting me know that they feel comfortable around me. I’ve had so many experiences where someone has warned me before I’ve visited their home for the first time that they have a cat who’s shy, standoffish, mean, uncomfortable being touched, or “evil” (no such thing) only for that cat to immediately trot right up to me then start rubbing against my legs and looking up at me expectantly until I start loving on them. I think a lot of people who haven’t lived with cats don’t realize that body language and tone of voice matter a lot more to cats than they do to most dogs, and more importantly, that cats require that you respect their physical boundaries and their consent in general. A cat’s love and affection require more than just feeding them regularly. Cats are people just like we are, and if a cat decides you’re safe and that you’re deserving of its love, you know that you earned it. I have two cats of my own, Lucy and Angel. Angel just turned 4 and Lucy will be 5 in August. Lucy is a cowcat and one of the shyest, most skittish kitties I’ve ever known, but you’d never guess it if you only saw her around me (I thought she was a bold extrovert when I met her at the humane society as a kitten because of how she started yowling and banging against the kennel door to get my attention as soon as I entered the room). Angel is a mischievous black tabby who apparently didn’t get the memo that cats are supposed to be quieter than dogs. They’re both each other’s best friends and my own. I have a little bit of personal experience with administering medication and spending time around old/sick cats. Angel was very sick when I first adopted him as a kitten and required eye and ear medication 4-5 times a day, and I learned to administer shots and check blood sugar when my late cat Ace developed genetic diabetes. I am willing to discuss medications/individual health needs if that applies to your cat(s).

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats ever since I was born, and have continued to surround myself with them into my adult life. I frequently help out at shelters and have recently branched out to start cat and dog-sitting. I also have two feline friends of my own, who I have had for around three years now :) I take care of my cats throughout the day (feeding, cleaning, and playing with them). This is easy to fit into my work schedule as I work remotely. And with this added flexibility, comes the ability to look after other pets as well! We take all dogs but specialize in older or extra large breeds. We work from home but are mainly on sabbatical working the land outdoors. About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

We received daily updates and pictures from Sarah during both Scoobi's boarding stay and while he was there for daycare. About: I’ve had pets my entire life and frequently take care of pets in my hometown, I recently moved to Boulder for school and have plenty of time and energy to care for pets here :) I’m a student at CU boulder but I have a very light schedule this year so I’m only in class for about 3 hours a day, I will happily spend the rest of my day with an animal :) I have no other pets and i am right Nextdoor to a fenced in dog run, my apartment complex is very pet friendly and everyone that I’ve met here is very respectful of other dogs.
About: New to rover but not new to caring for pets. I have learned every pet is different and has their own personality and preferences. I also have learned to adapt to our aging pet’s lifestyle and limitations but make sure we still provide adequate movement and stimulation for him. I am not certified trainer - and don’t consider myself one -but was able to potty train and teach our pet a few tricks and special family words we use with him. Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is protective but friendly, he will bark a lot at first until he gets acquainted and comfortable with others around him and us. We as a family (my husband and two children) enjoy going for walks and our children are also very caring and respectful with pets. I have a flexible work schedule and can adjust to your needs. I am available also on weekends and flexible with late/early drop off or pick up. We have a fenced yard at our home and the yard is spacious. Our home is a two story home. We also have plenty of areas to walk around the neighborhood and nearby trails (Standley lake, Arvada Parks & trails, Golden, Boulder). Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is crate trained. I do not have extra crates but can use your dog's/cat's crate as needed or as you instruct.

I’m open to any type of dog (big, small, loud, quiet, shy…) I am a student at CU so my schedule is as follows: Mondays and Wednesdays I am available from 10am-2pm, and 7pm-9pm. About: Dogs in our house are part of the family. We are a mother & son (age 14) combo with 2 dogs in the house (friendly, sweet spayed females). We have been loving and caring for dogs since we were both little, providing the best care for our price and will make your dog feel like it's at home! We have a fully fenced-in large yard and dog door. If you crate your dog, we have one in the house so that you don't have to bring yours. You can certainly bring your own dog bed, but we also have one that your pup can utilize. We also have stuffs, toys, leashes & bowls, so don't fret if you forget anything. Your furry-buddy is allowed to cuddle on the couch with us or wherever they find comfort. If the weather permits and your dog is accustomed to going to the dog park, they can join us on trips to play. We have both gone through dog training programs, most recently Ted Terroux. During the school year, we work and go to school during the week. We are able to go home mid-day for potty breaks. Thus, we are able to board mid-week *if* your dog is COOL (plays well, non-destructive, low flight risk), and knows how to use a doggie door. We have a great record of caring for our dogs and we will be able to safely and reliably take care and keep your dog safe and happy in a comfortable and clean home. We typically feed our dogs in the morning and evening, but can accommodate your pups needs. Our home is very clean and well taken care of. There is a main level in which we hang out with great room, office and kitchen. The dogs have free-roam of the main level which has laminate flooring, but covered with carpet squares as one of our dogs does not like walking on hardwood floors. So, it is mostly carpeted for her comfort. We have a large sectional in which we allow dogs to snuggle with us while watching TV. The LARGE yard is mostly grass, some mulch/landscaped trees & shrubs, with concrete patio in which we spend a lot of time dining and reading. We pick up poop DAILY. During the evening, if you request your dog could be crated in the bedroom in which one of us is sleeping as dogs are pack animals and they don't like being separated from the pack. We keep them close to us. But, we want to keep everyone safe, so the crate is available (optional) for their safety as well as ours/our pets. But again, they are slumbering in the same room with us.
About: Hi, I'm Andi! I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember, and for 13 years I had my own dog by my side. I raised him on my own through all kinds of homes and lifestyle changes, from apartments to houses, with big yards and with no yard at all so I know that every dog (and owner!) has their own routine, personality, and needs. Over the years, I’ve also regularly cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs, both in their homes and in mine. I genuinely love having a dog around the house, and enjoy the company, the personality, the walks, and even the little quirks that make them who they are. After losing my own dog, I’m not quite ready to make the commitment to bringing another dog into my life permanently. But I’ve realized I’d love to fill that space by welcoming other people’s dogs into my home and giving them the same kind of care and attention I’d want for my own. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with me. I’m happy to follow your usual routines, whether that means lots of walks and playtime, a cozy spot on the couch, medication or special instructions, or simply plenty of companionship. I know leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful, so I want you to feel confident that they’re in good hands and that they’ll get plenty of love while you’re away! work from home four days a week, so I’m home with plenty of flexibility throughout the day. On the days I go into the office, I’m typically gone for about four hours or less, so I’m home more often than not. I’m an early riser and am very used to starting the day with a dog’s morning walk. I also have easy access to grass for quick potty breaks throughout the day, in addition to regular walks and playtime. Even on weekends, when I might go for a run, hike, or bike ride, I’m generally home for most of the day working on projects or relaxing. Overall, my schedule gives me plenty of time and flexibility to give dogs attention, exercise, companionship, and plenty of opportunities to get outside. I take pet safety and comfort seriously and want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality, routine, energy level, and any special instructions from their owner. My home is clean, comfortable, and dog-friendly, with easy access to grass for potty breaks and plenty of opportunities for walks, exercise, and companionship. About: I’ve had pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, and for the past two years I’ve lived on a farm where I have gained experience caring for many different types of animals. We also double as a kitten rescue, taking in lost and abandoned kittens from newborns through teenagers. We bottle-feed, raise, and care for them until they are healthy, grown, and ready to be adopted into loving homes. I am extremely passionate about healthy and safe animal care and ensure that in my work. I am a college student and recently moved away from home and my farm, and the first priority on my list was getting back into work with animals. Being at CU I am occupied in the mornings and late afternoon. Anywhere between 11am-1pm I am free in between classes, and anytime after 4/5pm at night. I care for pets with patience, attention, and lots of love while making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their environment. Having cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, and a variety of farm animals, I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, providing fresh water, cleaning up after pets, giving them exercise and playtime, and keeping a close eye on their behavior and well-being. Through helping my mom run our farm and caring for rescued kittens, including newborns, I’ve also learned how important it is to be gentle, responsible, and attentive to each animal’s individual needs.

About: My love for animals exceeds my love for humans. I have always been the biggest animals person and have owned every animal in the book, from rodents to fish to mammals. I have raised multiple puppies to adulthood, both small dogs like Maltese, and large dogs like pit bulls. I am a renowned hamster sitter who even had baby hamsters at one point, and currently have three fish tanks in my college apartment. Point is I love animals and would love to hang out and give your pet the best time ever! I have a lot of time throughout my day. The longest I am out of the house for pre day is 2 hours for classes occasionally, but other than that I am home and bored. Pet care would easily fit into my schedule to ensure your pet has the best experience with me. Caring for pets in my home would be very simple as I would just aim to make them as comfortable and safe as possible. In terms of pet care at your home, I would be the best house sitter. About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

About: I'm the go-to friend when pets are in need of weekend and overnight care, or simply when someone is in a pickle! I have experience with many different types of dogs and cats, young and old - walking, feeding, day-sitting and overnights. I currently have a very flexible scheduling while not working full time. About: I’ve been around dogs ever since I was born. I’ve sat dogs through ........ before. I love all animals and will always respect their space, emotions, and boundaries. I go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15-1:30. I own a cat so I feed him in the mornings and hangout with him the rest of the day. On Mondays I go to an elementary school for the day. About: My dog is my top priority, and yours will be too! I’m able to take your dog on hikes, runs, and have some fun time with my almost 2 year old husky/heeler mix. Lots of cuddles, exercise, and fun time, while ensuring proper dog to dog boundaries. I have experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors. I work from home full time, and so am able to provide care for your pets throughout the day. I am unable to care for dogs under 1 year old. Additionally your dog must be: 1) dog friendly, with no history of aggression towards dogs 2) people friendly 3) house trained 4) sleeps through the night I have a fenced yard and one playful two year old husky/heeler mix. Care can include yard play time, leashed walks, hikes, or runs, depending on the needs of your dog! I am also able to keep up with training and obedience with your dog, whether that includes reactivity, leash walking, jumping etc. A meet and greet is required before I am able to book new dogs.
