About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have helped care for them from when they were puppies through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. About: New to rover but not new to caring for pets. I have learned every pet is different and has their own personality and preferences. I also have learned to adapt to our aging pet’s lifestyle and limitations but make sure we still provide adequate movement and stimulation for him. I am not certified trainer - and don’t consider myself one -but was able to potty train and teach our pet a few tricks and special family words we use with him. Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is protective but friendly, he will bark a lot at first until he gets acquainted and comfortable with others around him and us. We as a family (my husband and two children) enjoy going for walks and our children are also very caring and respectful with pets. I have a flexible work schedule and can adjust to your needs. I am available also on weekends and flexible with late/early drop off or pick up. We have a fenced yard at our home and the yard is spacious. Our home is a two story home. We also have plenty of areas to walk around the neighborhood and nearby trails (Standley lake, Arvada Parks & trails, Golden, Boulder). Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is crate trained. All dogs stay in the house at all times and only go out to fenced yard to potty or play. Dogs can be crated upon request. About: I’m Leo. Your dog will get walks, play, photos, and real company, not an empty house. I won’t only do these things because they need it but I’m happy to. I go hiking or biking almost every day. All sizes. I’ll follow your routine. You get updates the whole time. Request a meet and greet and we’ll go from there. I bet ill love your dog more than they love me. I’m a sophomore living on the Hill in Boulder. Most days look the same, which is good for dogs. I walk to campus for about an hour of class in the morning. Then I come straight home. I make lunch, take your dog out, hang on the floor with them, throw a toy, or just let them nap next to me while I study. That stretch in the middle of the day is a few hours, so they are not sitting in an empty place waiting. Afternoon class is one to two hours. Same thing after: walk home, another outing, water, treats, and time together. Nights I am home. Your dog will not be alone for more than two hours. If they need a mid-day walk, extra play, or just someone in the room, that is already built into how my day works. I’ll treat your dog how I’d want mine (really my mom’s) to be treated. I'm happy to give you access to my Amazon Alexa so you can see and maybe even interact with your dog. My place on the Hill is set up for dogs first. Doors stay shut, trash is put away, cords and anything chewable get picked up before a guest arrives. If I have your dog, they are not loose in a room I have not already checked. I do a meet and greet so we both know the vibe before any overnight. I follow your rules on food, crate, meds, and where they sleep. I do not leave them loose with the front door or windows open. When I leave for class they are either crated if that is what you want or in a safe closed-off space, and I am never gone more than two hours. Trust for me is simple. You get photos and a short update when I get home and when we go out. If something feels off I tell you right away instead of hoping it blows over. If you also have a cat, I keep them separate from dogs unless you say they already live together. Litter, food, and a quiet room stay theirs. I do not force handling. I let them come to me. The goal is a calm house, not a chaotic one. I live alone in an apartment, so I’m happy to have your pet as a buddy.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, and for the past two years I’ve lived on a farm where I have gained experience caring for many different types of animals. We also double as a kitten rescue, taking in lost and abandoned kittens from newborns through teenagers. About: My love for animals exceeds my love for humans. I have always been the biggest animals person and have owned every animal in the book, from rodents to fish to mammals. I have raised multiple puppies to adulthood, both small dogs like Maltese, and large dogs like pit bulls. I am a renowned hamster sitter who even had baby hamsters at one point, and currently have three fish tanks in my college apartment. About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and gentle attention. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, reinforcing training routines, and providing plenty of exercise and enrichment. I am a college student, but am great about scheduling drop-ins, or walks in between classes as needed. I am also available for extended overnight stays! I prioritize clear communication and reliability, so you can count on me to show up consistently and on time. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In your home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, routines, and house rules to maintain consistency. I double-check doors, leashes, and gates to ensure security at all times. I also provide updates and photos so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. I aim to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels safe and cared for.
About: I'm the go-to friend when pets are in need of weekend and overnight care, or simply when someone is in a pickle! I have experience with many different types of dogs and cats, young and old - walking, feeding, day-sitting and overnights. I currently have a very flexible scheduling while not working full time. When I'm not working, I love spending time outside hiking or reading in the park - perfect activities to bring a pup along! While at my own home, I have a fenced yard and am also only 100 feet from a lovely park. While at a clients home, happy to respect & follow instructions set out for the animal while in my care.
About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

I've taken lots of dog and puppy training classes when my dog was younger and learned a lot about dog body language, proper leash techniques, and many other skills that make engaging with and walking dogs successful. While you leave your precious pet in my care I can guarantee they are going to get lots of love and attention. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years, starting with pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors and volunteering with local animal shelters. I’ve also spent the past two years volunteering with Rescue Puppy Yoga and helping support puppy rescue and fostering. These experiences have given me hands-on experience with dogs of different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, feeding, keeping pets on their routines, giving oral medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I've recently graduated undergrad at the University of Colorado Boulder and have a part-time job. And I’m taking an online French class. Outside of work I usually will be going on a walk or working out. I volunteer and work for Rescue Puppy Yoga! I help facilitate, clean up, market and foster with the puppies. The program/foundation is incredibly rewarding and truly amazing. I can be found at puppy yoga classes on the weekends and fostering. However, with the spare time left I love to hangout with dogs and learn from them. I live in an apartment complex in Broomfield! I tend to go on daily walks and take the animal I’m taking care of on them.

Their front door is right next to lots of nice grass spaces and they have great dog parks super close for any dog to run and explore. We would definitely book Sam again!”
