About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, primarily caring for cats and dogs. My experience includes dog walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic routines, and cleaning litter boxes. I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life, I have plenty of experience with cats, and I have pet sit for numerous friends and family in the past. I am a huge animal lover and I am confident handling pets of any age or size. I am a recent graduate of CU Boulder with some extra time to kill before I head off to graduate school this fall, and I would love to spend it with your pet! I have full availability this summer while I wait to attend medical school in the fall. My schedule is very flexible and can accommodate a wide range of needs and time constraints. Overnights, late night check ins, and walks in the middle of the day are no problem! My only limitation is that I am not able to offer boarding at my house. My number one priority is maintaining the safety of your pet and your home. Not only will I keep your space tidy and clean, but I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is happy and healthy. My pets are treated as members of the family, and I will make sure that yours are given the same amount of love.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for a year for a 1-year-old, now 2 years old, lab puppy. I am offering walks, drop in visits, and day care. I mostly work from home as I finish up nursing school, so I am often free for care! I only work twice a week and will be free entirely for the next few months as I study for my NCLEX for nursing. Pet care would be a happy distraction and a great use of my free time! I always give 100% of my attention to the animals I care for and love taking them for walks and playing outside! I am always sure to bring a toy and make the animal feel as comfortable as possible with a new friend.

About: I started my pet care experience with taking care of my neighbors dogs when I was young, and I quickly fell in love with them. I have experience taking care of multiple types of dogs of varying ages. I am currently home for the summer and have a completely open schedule until August 10th! I am willing to work weekends and holidays if needed! Making sure pets are comfortable in their environment is an essential part of dog sitting. When taking care of one I believe it’s important to ensure the dog has everything it needs and receives proper attention and care!

About: I’ve taken care of every dog personality you can think of from aggressive to the most shy thing you’ve ever seen. I really try to connect and get on your dog’s level while achieving a good exercise for them! I work full time, but have Wednesdays and Saturdays off that I usually spend hiking. I’d love to get your dog out on a hike and get them nice and worn out for you! I have knowledge in a lot of different pet care, it really depends on the animal and owner. Any specific requests are usually fairly easy to accommodate and your animals’ safety is my top priority.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes growing up and have always been the biggest dog lover! I have experience with raising puppies, caring for senior dogs, and working with dogs with different personalities! I would love nothing more than to bring some joy and adventure to your pups! As a fellow dog owner, I know that dogs are not only pets, but family. I have experience walking big, strong dogs, so I’ll be able to hold and manage keeping your dog on route and out of trouble. I also have plenty experience taking care of dogs when owners have been away. I make sure they get fed on time, are let out to use the bathroom, get plenty of cuddles and pets, and play any games they want to! If your dog needs a bath, I also have taken multiple dogs for a self wash and have dealed with the worst of the worst. I’m currently on the job hunt, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pups! Really any day or time should work for me! I want to be sure that your dog is as comfortable as possible in their own home, because consistency helps them feel safe when their owners are away. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, walk times, and any other specific instructions you leave me. I’ll be sure to make sure all doors and gates are always properly closed and help keep the home tidy and secure!

About: Accountability is something I have pride in. I have 1 dog of my own who I’ve been loving for 7 years. I’m looking for a few regulars in the Golden/Arvada and Denver area! I work as a bartender/server so my schedule can be unusual sometimes. But this is also a good thing because I’m often home and available when other people are not. I will adapt to the environment. Whether the client has a fenced in yard or apartment. It’s important for dogs to get safe outdoor time.
