About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes growing up and have always been the biggest dog lover! I have experience with raising puppies, caring for senior dogs, and working with dogs with different personalities! I would love nothing more than to bring some joy and adventure to your pups! As a fellow dog owner, I know that dogs are not only pets, but family. I have experience walking big, strong dogs, so I’ll be able to hold and manage keeping your dog on route and out of trouble. I also have plenty experience taking care of dogs when owners have been away. If your dog needs a bath, I also have taken multiple dogs for a self wash and have dealed with the worst of the worst. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, walk times, and any other specific instructions you leave me. About: Accountability is something I have pride in. I have 1 dog of my own who I’ve been loving for 7 years. I’m looking for a few regulars in the Golden/Arvada and Denver area! I work as a bartender/server so my schedule can be unusual sometimes. But this is also a good thing because I’m often home and available when other people are not. I will adapt to the environment. Whether the client has a fenced in yard or apartment. It’s important for dogs to get safe outdoor time.

About: I’ve taken care of every dog personality you can think of from aggressive to the most shy thing you’ve ever seen. I really try to connect and get on your dog’s level while achieving a good exercise for them! I work full time, but have Wednesdays and Saturdays off that I usually spend hiking. I’d love to get your dog out on a hike and get them nice and worn out for you! I have knowledge in a lot of different pet care, it really depends on the animal and owner. Any specific requests are usually fairly easy to accommodate and your animals’ safety is my top priority.

As I search for a full-time position, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend some time helping care for your pets. My main goal of being on Rover is to gain experience with dogs so that I can be prepared to adopt my own someday! About: I've had dogs my whole life and am very comfortable around them. I love being outside with them and even lounging for the big couch potatoes. I'm available most days of the week, however as I have a main job, I'm only available in mornings and evenings. My shifts range within the hours of 10am-7:30pm. I'd be able to go morning and evening walks or check-ins. (7am-9am and 7:30pm-11pm) I'm unable to care at my apartment. When at the client's home, I will be mindful of any messes that occur and clean. Happily spending time outside to play and cleaning up after them.

About: I currently work as an animal care attendant at a local dog day care and boarding facility. I have also had former experience caring for animals by volunteering at the Humane Society for over a year and a half and from previous dog sitting jobs. I specialize in dog care, but enjoy taking cat care opportunities as well. I am currently working part time and have extensive flexibility throughout weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I am able to fit pet care into my daily routine as my shifts are never very long, so I will be able to spend lots of time with your furry friends!
