“Jessica was amazing! My old lab came home happy. Jessica sent photos daily, was very communicative about pick up and drop off and took great care of Ruby. I will be booking with Jessica again!”

“She was amazing! This was my first time doing Rover and she made it a very stress free experience. She took good care of my pup and he had a great time. Will rebook again ❤️”

“Our dog had the best time staying with Meghan and Hakon! They made our time away from our pup easy with updates, photos, and genuine care for our dog. We felt confident she was in good hands!”

“Sonia and Jon were SO great for our pup! We got daily updates and you can tell they really love pets. HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be asking them to dog sit again and again!”

“Lilly and her husband were so sweet and caring of our dog Phil. Phil is treated a little bit like a baby thanks to our kiddos - so he’s spoiled to say the least. He’s not use to staying at others houses but did so great here! He was cuddled up to them in multiple photos and seemed so happy and at ease. We will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!”

“Timi and her husband were great with our pup! She was very detail oriented and made sure she accommodated all of our dog's needs, daily habits and schedules. Our dog cannot be around other dogs and she was experienced with that and was able to take him on walks safely as well. She sent us daily updates which was very comforting and nice. This was our first time leaving our dog for a long-ish period of time with a sitter, but it was a great experience! Would highly recommend Timi, she will put your mind at ease!”

“Second stay with Scout and just as fantastic! They followed his detailed care instructions to the letter and graciously extended the booking when my trip plans changed — saving me the hassle of finding a second sitter mid-trip. Flexible, reliable, and Scout loves them. Highly recommend!”

“Laura is a great sitter that gave us full confidence while we were away for an extended trip. Even when Toby got stomach troubles she was very proactive in calling his vet and conservative in his recovery food, which assured us he was in good hands. Would recommend and definitely use again!”

“Brittany, Ayman, and Pino truly welcomed Pepper as part of their family. Their communication and updates throughout the stay were exceptional, which gave us so much peace of mind. We were so happy with the experience that we’ve already booked them again, and we highly recommend them!”

“Oakley had such a great stay with Jessica & Teryn he didn’t want to leave! They took great care of him and he loved playing with their sweet dog Shila. We will definitely book with them again!”

“Charissa was a wonderful home-away-from-home for Harper. She sent me updates and pictures throughout each day which was so appreciated, I had total peace of mind and knew that Harper was getting excellent care. Thank you Charissa!”

“Elise and Matthew took such great care of our dog while we were away. It’s so comforting to have kind, reliable, trustworthy people to rely on for our dog when we are gone. Thank you both!”
“Aubrey is amazing and very helpful. Fen is very enthusiastic to be around her and her pets. She has a fenced yard and plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. She was able to pick Fen up and drop him off. I am also rebooking her over Christmas!”
“Michelle and her family are amazing! She took such good care of my two dogs, Sonny and Chewy. She kept them on their regular schedule including giving Sonny his medication. She sent me pictures and regular update for the 3 nights they were with her. If I am ever back in the Denver area, I would definitely rebook with Michelle. 🐾❤️”

“Maria was great! Easy to communicate with, sent lots of pictures and updates and could tell they cared for my dog Winston like he was their own. Would definitely look to book with them again!”

“Della is an amazing dog sitter! She sent tons of photos of our dog outside getting exercise, playing with other dogs, and getting lots of love indoors. I would absolutely trust Della with our dog again.”

“My dog, Bowie, had another great stay with Jan & Patrick! He's always so excited to hang out with Jan & Patrick and really enjoys the yard and long walks. I look forward to booking again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Eldorado Springs
Tatianna was an amazing overnight sitter for our pup! We needed someone fairly last minute to take our dog for 5 days and she was great about coordinating a meet and greet ahead of time. Our dog got along fabulously with her dog, Willow, and we got lots of pics of them playing in the fenced in yard and going on hikes. Her communication was fast and efficient and we got tons of photos as we requested. I highly recommend Tatianna as a dogsitter.

Alicia is A+! We have a 17yo dog with dementia. We had her stay at our place while we went on a weekend trip. She watched our house as well as our dogs and kept us informed every morning and afternoon. Arrival and departure was smooth. We will definitely be asking her to sit as often as we can.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
