About: I was Humane Society volunteer, even if briefly. I've also been a pet owner for 15 years, with one dog named DuDu, who was a Black Labrador I am available practically always, with the primary exception being Wednesday nights, since I have guitar lessons that day. But other than that, I am indeed available, since even my volunteering work is irregular and voluntary I have a fenced yard or have the dog kept on a leash. I make sure the environment is hazard free, and keep the dog away from other animals.
“Great booking with Ryan and his wife. Got great updates and pictures. They have the perfect set up for dog sitting with a great yard, plenty of gates for separation, if needed, and gentle, but playful hosts.”

“For starters, Sarah was incredibly flexible as wildfires and snow impacted travel plans. Sarah was communicative, understanding and helpful. Koko is the sweetest dog and was a great play buddy for Nova who seemed to feel right at home, right away. I would highly recommend Sarah as a sitter for your pup, and I would love to have Nova stay with her in the future.”

“Elizabeth was awesome! She sent updates and/or pics daily and my dog seemed very happy and relaxed. I couldn’t be happier with the situation and will definitely use her again! Highly recommend!”

“Felt very comfortable leaving our dog in Charlotte’s care! Received regular updates and lots of photos. Very fast to respond as well which is always comforting. We would be happy to trust our pup with Charlotte any time. Thank you!”

“Jessica is great! She is communicative during the stay and takes lots of pictures to keep us at ease while we are away. She has a great space for your dog to be happy and comfortable!”

“Susan took excellent care of Albus. The communication was easy and clear. She sent us updates which thrilled my son. We would definitely have Albus stay with her again and recommend her.”

About: My dog is my top priority, and yours will be too! I’m able to take your dog on hikes, runs, and have some fun time with my almost 2 year old husky/heeler mix. Lots of cuddles, exercise, and fun time, while ensuring proper dog to dog boundaries. I have experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors. I work from home full time, and so am able to provide care for your pets throughout the day. I am unable to care for dogs under 1 year old. Additionally your dog must be: 1) dog friendly, with no history of aggression towards dogs 2) people friendly 3) house trained 4) sleeps through the night I have a fenced yard and one playful two year old husky/heeler mix. Care can include yard play time, leashed walks, hikes, or runs, depending on the needs of your dog! I am also able to keep up with training and obedience with your dog, whether that includes reactivity, leash walking, jumping etc. A meet and greet is required before I am able to book new dogs.
About: I have worked with old dogs, puppies, trained 2 puppies and some older dogs. I have also worked with a variety of animals like highland cows and reptiles! I have also have had my own dogs and currently have a cat! On weekends I am available pretty much all day! Usually the first Saturday of each month I have my quilt guild and ever other Sunday I nanny for 4 hours. Outside of that I shouldn’t have any other plans with enough advance notice! (I like to plan out my month a month prior) during the week I currently have an am job 3 days/week with some separation to hang out with the dogs in the middle of the day before heading to my pm job. I will watch your animals in your home to make sure that they are as comfortable as possible while you are out of town. I also like to spend the majority of a meet and greet interacting with your animals so that they get as comfortable as possible with me before you head out of town.
“Rachel is not only an extraordinary pet sitter, but she is an extraordinary person. Kind and delightful. She was wonderful with Buddha Bear and sent us lots of "Pupdates" of their walks, feeding, and hanging out in the yard. I know Bear had a great time. It was a bit challenging for us because we moved to the area less than two weeks ago, so we know our dog may be a little anxious at the moment with the move and everything that comes with it. Rachael was so patient with him, and he stayed with her while she was working. I couldn't speak more highly of her. I know Buddha Bear really loved her.”

“My older dog Santo did well with Jacqueline's gentle care. She understood his limitations, especially regarding heat. He had plenty of toys, and was able to play with her well behaved dogs. Jacqueline runs a tight ship, which I appreciate.”

“Irina was wonderful! Communication was excellent, she was flexible on schedules, and Otto looked so happy in all of the pictures she sent! We will definitely be booking with her again in the future, our little guy was very well taken care of.”

“Liliana was excellent in taking care of our dog on short notice. Frequent walks and updates on how he was doing were punctual and informative. A truly caring boarder that I highly recommend.”

“We can’t say enough a great things and Karla and her family. Blu loved his time with them. Their response time and the pictures they sent always kept our mind at ease about how he was doing. 100% recommend.”

About: I have worked in applied behavioral analysis for about 3 years. This means I have expertise in reading and understanding behavior. I know how to build that trust and mutual respect with dogs and make them feel comfortable in my care, without feeling threatened. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog walks throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can accommodate both regular weekly walks and occasional bookings. My availability may vary from week to week, so I’m always happy to communicate and find a time that works best for you and your pup! I am all for building trust and reading level of comfortability before I place any demands. I am very engaged, energetic, and direct all my attention towards pets when I am caring for them. I am very respectful and willing to follow any special requests regarding the needs of dogs.
“Marion was incredible with our fur baby! She was kind and patient during the whole experience to our dog and very communicative with us. She is very knowledgeable about dog care and training! We will definitely book with her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Niwot
Cole was very helpful when our plans changed and we needed to find somebody to board our 1 year old golden retriever last minute. His communication through the Rover Ap was awesome and he sent pictures and short updates throughout the stay. I will use Cole again when looking for boarding options next time.

We had a wonderful experience with Sally! She took excellent care of our dog and made sure he got several walks every day. The frequent updates and all the photos she sent throughout our trip were greatly appreciated. We were able to enjoy our vacation and not worry, knowing our dog was doing well and having a good time. We have already booked another stay with Sally. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative sitter.
Madyson did an amazing job watching my Giannis. He’s a very active border collie that requires a lot of stimulation. She provided everything he needed and has a great household to care for any pet. My giannis had a great time and I was given daily updates with pictures, videos, and informed about how it was going. I felt safe knowing my Giannis was in good hands his entire stay. Thank you so much!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
