About: I'm an attentive, empathetic caregiver with a special love for cats and experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’m patient and observant, great with shy or sensitive animals, and I enjoy teaching dogs new tricks and commands. Whether your pet needs playtime, calm companionship, or structured care, I’m here to help them feel safe and loved while you're away. I can do pet care anytime before or after my current full time job, or on my days off; the hours are a little different from your traditional work day, so that leaves me free to care for your pet when you can’t! On the weekdays, I can do drop ins and walks 9 AM or earlier and 5:30 PM or later. On the weekends, I can do anywhere between 8 AM to 8 PM! I take the utmost care to make sure your pet is safe and happy in their home while you're away! I used to own a husky, so I'm very used to making sure no runners go bolting out the door, and I will make sure your pet gets ample time to get to know me before I move about the house too much. I have a very anxious cat myself, and am very willing to take things slow if necessary so that your pet can be as comfortable with me as possible. While I'm there, I'll make sure your pet has everything they need to thrive while you're away, from ample food and water to plenty of fun and engaging interaction.
“Holly is very efficient and attentive, she truly cares for animals and is great at communicating any issues that come up—for example my dog was limping a little on his right paw and she let me know right away. It is rare to have someone with such great attention to details!”

“Allison is so good with Skooter. He loves to walk with her. We are looking forward to having Allison stay with him when we are gone a few days. We know he will be well taken care of. Thank you, Allison”

“Sue has been a fantastic find! She lives nearby, is a great communicator and my dog enjoys her company. Very glad to have found Sue to help with the occasional dog walk for ski days.”

“I'm very happy with Fiona. My less than social pomeranian has never been so accepting of anyone else. When Aggie is happy I am happy ?. Fiona is very responsible and gives me great peace of mind. She has a key to my place, and trust her implicitly!”

“Kristen has seemed to develop a relationship of ease with my anxious dog. She was reliable, asked relevant questions, and generally took great care of my sweet boy. I will definitely hire her again!”

“Kristen has been fabulous with our dog! She’s often available last minute, and puts in the extra effort to play with him even when he’s resistant to a longer walk.”
About: I was Humane Society volunteer, even if briefly. I've also been a pet owner for 15 years, with one dog named DuDu, who was a Black Labrador I am available practically always, with the primary exception being Wednesday nights, since I have guitar lessons that day. But other than that, I am indeed available, since even my volunteering work is irregular and voluntary I have a fenced yard or have the dog kept on a leash. I make sure the environment is hazard free, and keep the dog away from other animals.
About: Animals have always been an important part of my family. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats in both Florida and Ohio. While I’m new to the Longmont area, I’m not new to pet care, and I’m looking forward to meeting pets and their owners here in Colorado. Whether your furry companion thrives on high-energy walks or quiet home companionship, I tailor each visit to match their routine and personality. I am recently retired, so I have plenty of time to walk your dogs or make drop-in visits to play and care for them in your home. I am available both weekdays and weekends. I’m comfortable and familiar with dogs of all sizes, from small companions to big, energetic dogs that love the outdoors. Whether your dog needs an easy neighborhood stroll, a longer walk, or just some extra attention and companionship, I’ll tailor each visit to their age, personality, energy level, and normal routine.
About: Punctual, trustworthy, observant, communicative. I am a caregiver at heart as well as professionally. For years I have taken care of humans in the CNA world. As well as my patient’s pets, friends/family pets, horses and my very own fur babies. I currently work a full time job, but I have flexible hours. I can drop in on your pet(s) in the mornings and evenings. If an afternoon is required here and there I can make it work! Always make sure they have fresh water and clean bowls. Love to keep their spaces clean. Playing, exercising, cuddling. Medicine and food routines are important too.

“Jarrett took great care of our dog. He responded really quickly for us and stayed in communication our whole trip. We felt very comfortable knowing mookie was well cared for :)”

“Luka lived Joanie!! She was a trooper with taking him for out scheduled walks in subzero temperatures. She also gave home plenty of love and treats! Can’t wait to book her again!”

About: My parents have had dogs my whole life and I’ve watched family members and friends animals many times! I love all animals and would treat your pets like my own! I’m currently staying with a family member, with lots of time to walk dogs! When I do start my job, it will only be 3 days per week, so I’ll still have plenty of time to do this on the side. I love animals and will treat yours as my own! Since i’m staying at a family members home currently, I’m not able to watch animals in my home. I am happy to come to your house and walk them though.
About: Have experience with small dogs (6-15 lbs), large dogs (40-60 lbs), including an extra large dog with special needs (blind and deaf great dane). Able to cater to any and all of your dogs needs - personal care (i.e. baths), exercise (i.e. hikes or dog parks), and sharing lots of love to keep them happy and comfortable. I work in Berthoud but live in Longmont, so I am available to work on the front range and I’m close to the mountains too! Typically in town during the week if I’m not traveling for work. Weekends are typically open! Willing to be flexible and work with you and your dog’s lifestyle to ensure the highest quality of service. Hoping to meet you soon and ready to take the best of care of your little (or big) one! :) P.s. also experienced in providing care for other species of pets (i.e. birds, cats, chickens, reptiles, etc) I currently work full-time but have flexibility in early mornings and anytime after 4 pm on week days. Weekends are more flexible overall for me! I take safety seriously to make sure pets stay happy and healthy in their environments. Building trust with a new person in their space is important!
About: I have been in the dog world for most of my life. I grew up with a champion English cocker spaniel and had a litter of puppies. I had to bathe and take care of the puppies as well as the dogs. I have been a dog groomer since 2010. I have worked at petco and have owned my own dog grooming business for since 2017. I hope to meet some cute dogs and help out some people who can’t be with the dogs during the day or while on vacation. If you need your dog to be groomed before you return then we can arrange that as well. I have a business but would like to help out when possible. I live in gunbarrel near boulder and can be made available if agreed upon. I live in a condo but we have amble trails to take long walks. If I come to your home I can do whatever is helpful within reason.

Jess is the best! She is punctual and communicative, and took such great care of my pup, Kevin. In particular, Jess was really attentive and followed the routine I’ve been trying to establish with Kevin. Jess truly loves animals and is dog dad’s dream! Thanks so much Jess!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
