About: I have a medium-large dog at home (around 70 pounds). I feel comfortable walking dogs of any size as far as they like. I have a grassy area outside my apartment that I can take your dog to whenever needed. I am available to dog sit over night on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I’m available throughout the day on weekends and Thursdays. I’m used to taking care of a dog (feeding, walking, playing, grooming), and I’d love to be able to again. The only restriction I have is my apartment complex’s rule go no pit bulls, german shepherds, or siberian huskys. I trained my dog at home from when she was a puppy, and she turned into an extremely friendly dog. I’d be happy take care of your puppy and help it learn how to interact with people.

“I’d never used the app before but loved how easy it was for Sam to keep me updated both times he visited to walk our dog. Our dog is an old boy and can be a little defensive at times, and pretty slow-moving, but Sam was super patient with him. Sam walked him for a full 30 minutes and from what I can tell, he just let our dog take it slow, sniffing (and peeing on) all the things along the way, which is his absolute favorite thing to do. I’d recommend Sam for sure, and will ask him back if we ever need help with our pets again!”

I’m a lifelong animal lover with a Goldendoodle and two cats at home, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. I love being outside and tailor each walk to your dog—whether that’s a relaxed stroll or a more active outing. I have fostering experience and have worked with many breeds and temperaments, so I’m patient and confident reading behavior cues to keep your pet safe and happy. I also hold a dog training license (not currently practicing), which gives me a strong foundation in handling and positive reinforcement. As a teacher, I bring consistency, clear communication, and a calm, caring approach. I’d love to meet you and your pup! As a teacher, I’m off for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. Aside from a couple of weeks in June when I’ll be out of town, I’m available throughout the day Monday–Friday and some Saturdays. I’m typically up early (around 6am) and available into the evening (until about 7pm). I’m based in Southwest Longmont and can easily travel within 20 minutes to Longmont, Niwot, and Erie. I will be offering services of coming to your home and not bringing your pets to my home. I feel this offers stability to the animals.

I am a Pilates Instructor and never work more than a 4 hour block so I have plenty of time in my schedule to help with pet care. About: I grew up in a house full of dogs! Both my mom and grandfather relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and keep their dogs company throughout most of my summer days in middle and high school. I have more experience with adult and senior dogs, but love spending time with puppies, and have helped friends take care of puppies before. I recently graduated college and am working part time, so I have more time to spend with your pups! I'm available for boarding starting Saturday or Sunday evenings into the week. I typically work Saturday, Monday and Thursday nights, but would be able to come back during my lunch break to provide a restroom break if needed. I also have the ability to be home during the day before going into work! Living in an apartment, I don't have an individual yard but there is a large open field right outside my apartment. There is also a fenced-in dog park behind my apartment complex. I can crate the dog if a crate is provided, and have no problem with the dog being on my furniture if that is something you are okay with!
