“Danielle has been great with my Belgian malinois mix. He is still a puppy so we are still working on manners but she has been phenomenal with him! She’s very communicative with me and is very reliable. I already have my next walk booked with her! I would definitely recommend her for your pups!”

About: My partner and I, along with our greyhound, Shiloh, work as a team when dog sitting. We love being around other dogs and have years of experience. I've watched all manner of dogs for many years, from small to large, old to young, healthy to medically supported. We will both provide lots of TLC to all dogs that we have the opportunity to meet. We do have chickens as well, but they are always contained to their run when dogs are around :) If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! We work remotely 50% of the time; but even when we go in to the office, we have the freedom to return home at any time. We have a large fenced yard and a dog that loves to run! There is plenty of room in our home to get comfortable or get some personal space. We are also within walking distance of the Erie Dog Park so we make visits there frequently.
“Stephanie is the best!! Reliable, professional, and punctual. Had a last minute change of travel plans and she was able to help out. She’ll be my go-to from now on!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5, I’m now 31 years old so it’s second nature. We have 4 ourself, and 11 fish tanks so big animal lovers here, dogs get free rein of the house and we have a big yard for them to do their business as well! We also have a big trail next to us for walking needs as well, we look forward to you booking with us Not working right now, so my time is spent at home with the animals fully. I try to stay home as much as possible so I’m fully committed to your dog I have a 3 bedroom spacious double wide trailer where two of the rooms are dog rooms so plenty of room for dogs, we don’t have a “fenced” yard but we have a huge area with a 50 ft lead where we sit on the porch with the dogs while they do their business
About: Taking care of and training my dogs has been a vital part of my growing up and there is nothing more fulfilling than gaining the love from animals I am a college student home for the summer and have nothing but time to take care of other’s furry loved ones, my availability is open to the needs of the animals I have had dogs my whole life which has made me very aware of what is safe and not safe for dogs, I am also very good at following the directions from the owners of animals as they know what is best for their pets and what is normal and not normal. Many animals also have routines they follow and I believe following those routines helps keep a normalcy for when they are out of their normal.
“Cole was so great and patient with our dogs (one of whom is a little crazy!) He's kind, compassionate, responsible and made us feel like our pups are always in good hands. We'll certainly use him again and recommend him to anyone!”

“Brittany was amazing. She picked up our last minute holiday travel and it couldn’t have been better. Walley was excited everytime she came (he often hides for dog walkers) but not for Brittany! Great updates and many pictures.”

“Lindsey was amazing! She walked three of our dogs and was on-time and very friendly and professional even at 8am on these frigid winter mornings. Thank you Lindsey!”

“Shauna and her husband did an exceptional job with my sweet pup Mocha! They were very reassuring and knowledgeable when we did a meet and greet and followed directions to walk her exactly as I’d asked! Thank you guys! Will definitely use your services again in the future!”

“Adriana was amazing to my fur kids! I needed her help in a pinch and she came through so awesome for us! She went above and beyond and really put a lot of attention to detail with their care. Thank you for making my pups smile and bringing me peace of mind! We will see you again soon! 5 star walker right here ❤️??”
About: Caring for pets has always been my passion! I’ve grown up with cats and dogs of all kinds and have always been very adamant in making sure they receive the best care and all the love possible. I’ve worked professionally with animals in doggy day care setting and worked closely with dog trainers. My husband is also a vet technician who has spent his whole career working with animals including in dog kennels and doggy day care. Our life purpose is caring for animals, our own and yours! You can be sure your pet is being cared for deeply while you are away! I have taken my passion for pet care full time! Please contact me for availability, I am booking up quickly but I have a wide range of availability for different services. From house sitting to dog walking, I also offer pet waste collection/removal & nail trims. We have a very well sized fully fenced back yard and an open home. Our home does have other cats and dogs so we mostly require guest to be adapted to this kind of environment. However, we have spaces in home available to keep a dog separate for their comfort levels if need be. Case by case. As far as animal care in our home or yours, we treat them as our own. Each animal has a different personality and different needs, which for us is easy to understand. If I am away home sitting for work, my husband is home caring for our animals. Please reach out and ask any questions you’d like for more information.
About: I just moved back from 2 years living in Florida where I was employed through the amazing Pawsome Pet Services, caring for furry friends around the Central Florida area. I’ve helped take care of my little dog Sugar for all 13 years of her life. I’ve provided pet sitting for friends and family whenever they need the help. I have administered medications for many furry clients, I’m comfortable giving baths, I’ve accommodated for dogs with special needs on walks, and assisted with specific requirements for puppies and senior animals. I’m a lover of all animals, especially for dogs- big and small! I will soon be working part-time and have online classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I have just made the move back home after working at Disney World in Orlando for a couple years so for now, I have a flexible schedule free for attentive pet care! I am a sitter who practices regular and consistent communication with clients. I always like to give detailed reports of the pet’s activity accompanied with a generous amount of pictures and videos to ease any worry of their pet’s status. I will be sure to follow all client special instructions carefully, keeping communication open should any accidents, concerns, or questions occur. Whatever the client is most comfortable with, I will be accommodating and flexible to whatever household/ pet needs the client requests within their own home, and take time to discuss accommodations in detail with clients before each visit.

“Josephine was responsive and reliable despite a little confusion on my end. Really appreciated Josephine coming to walk Boone, who is very sweet but can be a bit of a handful when he sees a squirrel.”
About: Hello everyone! Me and my family would love to take care of your doggie! Whether you are on vacation or just need to get out of the town, we will be here for you! We love cuddles and will make sure that every dog in our house feels welcome and gets a lot of that;-) We love the outdoors, and live close to plenty of parks and trails. Since we do have 3 kids it’s important that your dog does get along with children. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I will have plenty of time to spoil your furry family member. So what are you waiting for? Send us a message cause we can’t wait to meet our new friend!:) I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m available on the weekends and during the week as well! We do live in a townhome with no own backyard but we have a dog park and lots of parks nearby. We love going on hikes and would love to take your dog with us. Playing, cuddling and just making sure that no dog feels alone or left out is my priority when taking care of other pups.
About: We are a dog family currently without a dog after losing our older golden retriever in January. While we’re not quite ready to add another four-legged family member, we would love to take care of yours! Snuggles and playtime abound here, and we are comfortable with pups young and old as long as they are happy to be around kids and not a significant chewing threat (our floor is not pristine, and despite my beat efforts to get the kids to put things away, there will likely be temptations around that I would hate to have impact your pup’s digestive tract!). Having just been through a year with an older pet, I also have experience with medications and limited mobility situations. We especially love other goldens. :) If your pet is used to the hustle and bustle of a lively household, we could be the perfect choice for his or her home-away-from-home. These days someone is almost always home and ready for a belly scratch break or a quick game of fetch in the backyard. I walk our older kids to and from school and hit up the neighborhood parks with the younger ones during the day. While we will be strict about treats and food if you like, we also have a toddler who can be quite generous with her snacks and a 2nd grader who would love help finishing his dinner. ;) Your dog will be part of our family while staying with us. We have a fenced yard and only take one booking at a time.

Brittany has checked in on my dogs and taken them for walks all last minute appointments. I have three of them and they can be a little crazy and the dogs are always happy and well taken after by Brittany. She takes them on long walks to help get energy out. I appreciate everything she does and will definitely book her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
