About: While my experience caring for pets professionally is limited, I worked in healthcare for a short stint out of high school, delivering medical oxygen supplies to peoples homes, and setting up the equipment for patients. One of my favorite parts of the job was when the patients had pets! Frequently, their pets warmed up to me as soon as I was welcomed in to do my work, which would always brighten up my day. Of course, I have pets myself. I've been caring for my cat, Winslow, for about a year and a half now. He's fantastically affectionate and he's been an excellent companion in my home. I also help my parents with their cats, since I live with them at the moment. As one last note, at my last job I attained a CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Human focused, of course, but I stilled learned the signs of a crisis in living beings and what to do when life hangs in the balance. I hope never to have to use said skills, but if a pet has a delicate health situation, I am equipped to get them the help they need if things take a turn for the worse. I am between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is about as open as it gets. I have my own responsibilities to tend to with my cat, but my parents can take care of him if your furry friend needs me around all day. First things first is a meet and greet to make sure your pet is comfortable around me. Once your pet and I have made each-other's acquaintance, we'll talk about how you usually go about caring for them yourself so we don't throw a wrench in their habits. If you're having me spend time in your home, we'll talk about how you expect me to conduct myself while house sitting.

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, and apparently they've had one for me too. Hi, my name is Sarah and I live in the Boulder area. I’ve been a lifelong pet lover and have had the pleasure of sharing my life with all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds, and even livestock. Unfortunately, I recently became petless after my old girl passed away. This has left my love for pets homeless and I would love nothing more than to give it all to your babies. Cuddles, belly rubs, a good hike, maybe a little mud and a bath and of course some yummy treats, I’m here for it all! Whether your pet is a professional couch potato, an enthusiastic adventure buddy or just needs a little extra TLC, I have the experience and enough love to keep up with them. I’m currently working as part of a wildlife rehabilitation internship. I’m still in the first stage, so I only need to be there about 20 hours a week, which gives me lots of flexibility. This means I can work my internship schedule around what your pet needs! Early morning feedings? Done. Middle of the night potty breaks? Done. Need a midday nap buddy? Done. I’m open to both weekdays and weekends and with 24 hours’ notice, I can usually adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. Your pet’s routine is important and I’m happy to work around it whenever I can! My first priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible because I know that consistency can make a big difference when their favorite person isn’t around. This all starts with the bond I work to form with them from the moment I become the stranger invading their territory. I’m not just there to feed, walk and clean up messes. I’m there to make sure your pet doesn’t feel scared, abandoned or stressed while you’re away. I want you to be able to leave knowing that they’re not just being looked after, they’re being loved. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, lizards, birds, and guinea pigs, and I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. My experience includes years of caring for family pets and volunteering as a dog walker at The Buddy Foundation, an animal shelter in Illinois, from February 2009 through April 2010. I loved giving the shelter dogs exercise, attention, and companionship. I also had a pet pig for two years! I took her on walks, and people often mistook her for a dog. She was a special part of my life and definitely added a little variety to my pet-care experience! These days, my husband’s allergies mean our pets are limited to our saltwater aquarium. I really miss spending time with furry friends, and I’m excited to give yours some extra love! Whether your dog enjoys an energetic walk or a slower outing with plenty of sniffing, I’ll follow their routine and your instructions so they feel comfortable and cared for. You can expect thoughtful attention to your instructions, updates and photos, and plenty of affection for your pets. I currently work full time but I work 4 ten hour days. So I am open every Monday with flexibility on weekends and evenings after 5:30pm Tuesday-Friday. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priorities. I’m a big rule follower, so I’ll follow your care instructions to a T—from feeding routines and leash guidelines to making sure doors and gates are securely closed. When visiting your home, I’ll respect your space and keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior and surroundings. I’m also a strong communicator, so you can expect updates, photos, and a message if anything seems out of the ordinary. If I’m unsure about something, I’ll ask rather than assume. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pet and your home are in thoughtful, dependable hands.

About: I don’t have pets of my own, but I’ve taken care of dogs and cats from other family members. I also work as a caregiver, so I’ve had clients with pets that needed help taking care of them. I have experience with large to medium dogs, but mostly small dogs from puppyhood and up. And if you have a pet that has a strict diet you’ll be happy to know I am immune to their deceptions. I do have some experience with dog sitting overnight and I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs. I currently work part-time so I can work around my schedule and check on pets after a shift. I’m free two days straight on weekends l so I can stay overnight if needed if you want a weekend getaway without worrying about your fur babies. I’d just have to discuss scheduling details with you so everything goes smoothly. The first thing I’ll do is look for any possible ways your dog may get out and secure them so the won’t be able to get out. I’d also try to double secure a leash in the event of one clasp breaking, the other will keep your pet secure.

I will love them like my own. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to work around your dog’s routine rather than making them fit into mine. I’m home throughout the day and interact with the dogs frequently for potty breaks, walks, playtime, attention, and naps. Someone is home the majority of the time. If gone less than an hour! I live in a townhouse with plenty of open grassy areas and a dog park nearby. We’re also right next to Kensington Park, which we frequent for walks and outdoor time. I have one Schnoodle named Boo who is very sweet, calm, and great company for other dogs. I work from home, so I’m almost always around to give your pet plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of love.
