“Charlotte took great care of our dog Juno! Juno got lots of walks, attention and time to romp in the backyard with Charlotte’s very cute pup Briscoe. Juno can be a bit shy and take her time to warm up to new people, so I greatly appreciated Charlotte’s patience and willingness to meet Juno where she is. We look forward to booking this Rover again!”

“Nicole is the absolute best! She is so communicative and helped make our pup feel right at home. We could not recommend her enough!! Can’t wait to leave obi with her again soon!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Amelia! Our dog came back happy and healthy :) Amelia sent us regular updates/photos, always responded to messages quickly, and even took Atlas out of his pen to explore the indoor arena! By far the best Rover experience we’ve ever had!”

“Our nervous dog did great for 4 nights. Susan treats your dog as one of her own!! Good energy, great backyard & happy pups!! Highly recommend her!! Thank you Susan!!”
“Meghan and Hakon are amazing and loved on our pups so much! It was Kinzie’s first stay away and they made her feel so at ease and comfortable in their home. Lincoln is a pro and had a blast. We got plenty of updates and photos and knew our dogs were in great hands. Lincoln and Kinzie look forward to their next stay!”

“We booked Nicole and Billy last minute and had a great experience! They were reliable, caring, and clearly really love dogs. We felt completely comfortable knowing Pepper was in good hands, and we got regular updates and photos while we were away. It made the whole experience stress-free. We would definitely book with them again!”

“Highly recommend Alex and Jeff. Responsive and on point with all communications. Great yard and set up. Felt really good about leaving our pup with them.”

“We can’t say enough good things about Timea and her husband! They were wonderful with our pup, Mac. They gave Mac so much love and attention, kept us updated with tons of adorable pictures, and were great about communicating and asking questions to make sure he was happy and comfortable. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. We’d absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing sitters!”

“Elizabeth was great! She kept me updated on how Jameson was doing with pictures and text updates and was flexible with my drop off/pick up schedule. Jameson came back happy and exhausted!! We’ll definitely be using Elizabeth again!”
“This is our second time booking. Tyran and Sharaya and their kids are fantastic and took such great care of our dogs. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful family, and we are able to relax while on vacation knowing they are in such great hands. We really appreciated the daily pictures. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our fur babies!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, I understand how important it is to provide patience, attention, and genuine love to every fur baby. I’m currently in my freshman year of college taking all online classes and caring for my baby sister, dog walking fits perfectly into my routine! When walking my own dogs I am very vigilant and practice safety at all times, I love play time and getting them all the exercise!
“Caydee and her family were great! They took amazing care of our recently adopted 2-year-old Aussie Shepherd mix and showered her with lots of love. We received several updates during our trip and will happily have Caydee watch our girl again in the future!”

“Bill and his wife are absolutely lovely, genuine people, who are clearly dog lovers. Very friendly and warm energy. When I came to pick up my dog, he was very calm and wasn’t too eager to come with me, which is rare and means he was well taken care of while I was gone. I will definitely book Bill again! Thank you!”

“Anna was an awesome pet-sitter. She watched our Berner for a whole week and she did not disappoint. Kept us updated while we were gone on everything, and cared for our dog like it was her own!”

About: I’m an after school Program Coordinator for Elementary aged kids in the BVSD looking to hang out and care for some pets while I’m not working. I’ve had two dogs my entire life growing up, and now have a little cat to keep me company. I don’t own a dog at the moment, and I’m having major dog withdrawals! I would really love to take more personal walks, and adding a few dogs would make it even better. I’ve helped my friends (and family) while they’re out of town by watching their pets, feeding them, giving them their medicine, and bathing them. I would love to take your dog for a jog around the park, or just take a nice leisurely stroll! I also adore cats and would love to give them some company when needed. I love hanging on the couch giving them some cuddles, playing with their favorite toys, and letting them do their own kitty thing while hanging around. I hope to meet you and your sweet fur baby soon. I’m currently working as an after school program coordinator with Fridays off- so I am able to watch your babies early mornings, evenings, any time on Fridays and weekends! I have a fenced yard for your pup to play in, a large house, one cat who is great with other animals, and some free time during the week/weekends to come and watch your fur babies when needed!

“Jessica was amazing! My old lab came home happy. Jessica sent photos daily, was very communicative about pick up and drop off and took great care of Ruby. I will be booking with Jessica again!”

“So lucky to find Tiffany and family to take care of our newly rescued Sammy! She shared updates everyday to let us know he was safe and happy while we were gone. We will definitely be using them again when we travel!”

“Irina was wonderful! Communication was excellent, she was flexible on schedules, and Otto looked so happy in all of the pictures she sent! We will definitely be booking with her again in the future, our little guy was very well taken care of.”

“Brittany was so communicative, caring and really came through in a pinch! My sweet Gabby girl came home so happy and well taken care of. From Gabby and us thank you so much Brittany!”

“Brooke was so welcoming of my pup as it was his first stay away from home. Brooke is now Knox's home away from home. My pup doesn't get much other dog interaction while he's with me, so it was nice to see he got to play with other pups while he was there. She also gave my baby a bath, so he came home smelling really good! Brooke and her husband also sent a very kind hand-written note home! Thank you Brooke?”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Firestone
Kaylynn was so great with our dog Luna!!! We needed to book a last minute weekend trip and were nervous since we’ve never left Luna with anyone besides family. However, Kaylynn immediately made Luna feel at home and made us feel very reassured. She had a perfect space for Luna to be comfortable and have fun, she had lots of fun new toys that Luna was obsessed with, and she took Luna on fun walks. Kaylynn also sent us plenty of pictures, videos, and updates. Luna clearly had a lot of fun and we most definitely hope to have Kaylynn dog sit Luna again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
