About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner and lover for years. I currently care for my Golden Retriever, who joined my family as a rehomed dog. Helping him adjust, build a routine, and thrive has given me excellent hands-on experience with patience, positive reinforcement, and understanding a dog's unique needs during transitions. Whether your dog is a gentle giant who just wants some affection or an energetic pup who needs to burn off steam, I know how to read their cues and provide a safe, comfortable environment. I treat every dog I watch with the same level of care and attention I give my own. I work in a hybrid environment, working from home 2 days per week. During the weekends my Golden Retriever and I go for long walks, easy runs or long hikes. Focus: Socialization, family environment, and supervision. My home in Lafayette is a welcoming, active, and safe environment. Any visiting dog will have the company of my friendly 3 year old Golden Retriever, who is great at making new dogs feel at ease. I also have two children in the house half the week, making this a wonderful, engaging environment for kid-friendly dogs who love family interaction. I maintain a supervised, structured environment to ensure all dogs feel secure, with plenty of space for both playtime and quiet rest.
