“Ryan and Lorien were wonderful with our Charlie dog. Their sweet dog even shared their toy with him. Charlie was given lots of love and attention. We felt at ease having him there while on our vacation. Would definitely book with them again. Thanks!”

“We are very grateful for Amanda! We had a sitter for years that we were very familiar and comfortable with who moved out of state. I am so happy we found Amanda! Dogs came back happy and healthy!”

“Melissa was great! After the first day, I felt confident that Ilo will be taken care of. Hence, my anxiety went away that day and that I know Ilo will be just fine :) Would highly recommend Melissa.”

“Could not have asked for a better weekend-stay for my dog! I was worried he wouldnt want to come home haha Received great updates all weekend and my pup was happy as a clam!”

“Leeann is the best dog care taker! So kind, loving, and communicative. Thank you so much Leeann for caring for our Max for an entire week. We will definitely be frequently of yours!”

“For the first year since he joined our family, we couldn't logistically bring our pup home with us for the holidays. Heartbroken, we reached out to Edie. From the moment Ringo and I walked in her door for the meet and greet, it was obvious how much she loves dogs. Ringo's stay with Edie was nothing less than magical. She even had a stocking hanging for him and toys for him on Christmas morning! Communication was consistent, and I never once worried about him being stressed or sad while we were gone. My only hesitation in recommending her is that word will get out about how amazing she is, and she'll be booked up next time we need her!”

“Debb and Ky provided tons of pictures and updates about my dog while I was away. This was the first time using a Rover sitter and I was a little nervous about it. My dog came home so tired from playing with the other dogs. He seemed happy and well cared for. I would 100% use them again to watch him.”

“If we could give 6 stars, we would! Hannah looked after our Vito on a second’s notice because of a family emergency that required us to leave town. Hannah provided daily videos and photos of Vito while we were gone which we genuinely appreciated. Vito was well taken care of, loved and cared for, and got along extremely well with her great/friendly dog, Harper. We can’t thank and recommend Hannah enough!”

“Kimber is wonderful! We appreciated the daily photos and updates. It really helps to know we can trust Kimber and it’s a huge bonus that Alma loves her cute pups. We know who to book when we travel!”

“Lucy was absolutely amazing with our dog, Kaia. I was nervous about dropping her off since she hasn’t been with a sitter in years, but Lucy soothed my worries and answered any and all questions. She is also extremely responsive, and I will be using her services again!”

“Ben was wonderful watching our puppy Benny for a last minute trip! He’s a great communicator with a clear love for dogs! He sent us updates about our puppy while we were gone and was super easy going! Would love to have him watch our puppy again in the future!”

“Angela and her family took such great care of our dog Toby while we were out of town. Toby is usually very nervous in new places and has been really stressed out by traditional kennels in the past, but we could tell he was very comfortable in Angela's home. Toby normally refuses to eat much in new environments - even when we are with him the whole time, but he had a healthy appetite during his stay! He also got to go on a walk and made several two and four legged friends (Angela's doodles were very friendly!). We also received daily updates and photos, which definitely put our minds at ease while we were away. I'd highly recommend Angela for dog boarding/sitting!”

“Caitlyn is AMAZING!!! She went above and beyond for my fur baby. Our dog is 17 years old and she was very patient and loving with him, she even took him to the vet! Caitlyn kept me well informed with tons of pictures and messages. Iko got along well with her dogs and LOVED their backyard. I highly recommend Caitlyn and will most definitely use her next time Iko needs a sitter.”
About: Since a young age I've loved and cared for animals big and small. I grew up on a hobby farm with animals ranging from horses and chickens to dogs and cats. As an adult, I have had three dogs of my own (Rescued Aussie's & a Pommie) and a special needs cat who I had to administer sub-cutaneous fluids to on a weekly basis. My dogs have also needed medications administered and consider myself a geriatric pet specialist. I currently have a potty trained indoor rabbit who I absolutely adore. Between having pets of my own, I have taken the opportunity to care for other peoples animals through Trusted House Sitters where I have cared for up to 7 animals at a time (3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits). I love getting out for long walks, hikes and adventures with dogs as well as just snuggling up and giving fur babies lots of love and pets. I'm a huge animal lover of all sorts and would be honored to care for your pets! A little about me. I'm a mother of two school aged children, I stayed home with them when they were babies and am looking for flexible work while they are still young. I have nannied and cared for other families kids and pets for the last 2 years. I love caring for children both the human and the furry variety. I am looking to make pet care my full time work while my kids are in school. I love caring for animals and can't think of a better way to transition from being a stay at home mom back into working. I love getting to bring joy into your animals life while their favorite person is away as well as the variety of experiences that this job offers. I am very flexible during the weekdays and can occasionally cover nights and weekends-especially if I am hosting. I love dogs, cats, and rabbits. I'm happy to spend extra time getting to know each animal and give them the attention that they need, from medicine administration to extra reassurance and affection. I am also comfortable with horses and farm animals. I can travel to care for most animals or host dogs at my house. I have a fully fenced yard centrally located in Boulder County. We have one super friendly border collie/aussie mix dog who loves everyone she meets.
“Jamie was so great with Cooper! Sent regular updates and walked him even though it’s 5 degrees outside! Her pup Chili is the sweetest too. She was also very accommodating when my flight got delayed, which I really appreciated!”

“My kitty had so much fun during her stay! I was able to see daily pictures and videos of her and Sing-Chun followed all instructions and went above and beyond to make Mafalda comfortable.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Amelia! Our dog came back happy and healthy :) Amelia sent us regular updates/photos, always responded to messages quickly, and even took Atlas out of his pen to explore the indoor arena! By far the best Rover experience we’ve ever had!”

“Ruby really enjoyed her stay with Kody! He took good care of her. We got lots of photos and video of her time there. It looked like she got along really well with Nico and they shared a bed, it was pretty cute!! She'll definitely be staying at Camp Kody again.”

“This was my first time boarding my pup with J.R. We originally arranged for a single night of boarding, but unfortunately, my weekend plans changed last minute and we had to extend to 3 nights. I genuinely appreciated his quick communication and willingness to accommodate. Additionally, J.R. has a fabulous property with lots of roaming room that I'm sure my pup thoroughly enjoyed.”

The median cost per night for pet boarding in Longmont is $50

Kody is the absolute best!!! He was very accommodating & quick responding…and our pups LOVED his house! It’s setup as doggy heaven! A big massive backyard for the pups to enjoy, endless doggy beds etc etc! When I picked them up, they didn’t want to leave! Lol. My pups will definitely be back! I felt very comfortable leaving them with Kody!

Super convenient for the attendance at the Filk Festival in Lyons. Patrick and Alejandra were punctual, prompt and professional offering great care for my dog. They shared photos and communication was excellent. Hudson needed medication and I felt confident that he was well taken care of. The dogs at their home ( other rover sits) were all very well behaved and Hudson had a pack to join in with. Thanks again for a very convenient option for us while we are traveling for 10 weeks.
Tucker has stayed with Charlotte several times and she takes super great care of him. He had an allergy flare while there and we had forgotten to send his allergy meds. Charlotte picked some up for him and also offered to take him to his vet for us. Thankfully, the meds did the trick. We really appreciate her care for him!

Alex took wonderful care of our sweet border collie Tessie! Communication was great with updates and photos. Alex followed our instructions on Tessie’s care and feeding and we felt extremely comfortable leaving her in his care. Tess was a bit stressed and anxious due to the 4th of July fireworks and Alex handled the situation perfectly. We look forward to booking with Alex again. Thank you, Alex!

Our dog felt no separation anxiety under Khristina's care. Even more important, Having a senior dog with special diabetes care needed, we were confident all would be well managed when we left our pet. It requires attention, walks, feeding and timely injections all needing done correctly. Khristina without hesitation helped our dog thrive while we were away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
