“Lincoln and Kinzie are always in great hands with Meghan and Hakon! We get lots of updates and the pups are loved on so much. Could not recommend them more to make your pup feel like part of the family and we will definitely reach out to them for another stay.”

“Ruby was with Sean and Kim for 16 days, which is the longest we have ever left her, and I can’t say enough good things about them. We got daily updates with photos. She went for walks every day and also got to hike her favorite trail with them numerous times. She loves her new doggy buddies, and based on the photos she clearly loves Sean. She came home healthy and tired, and we were able to enjoy our extended trip knowing that she was in such great hands. 10 out of 10 recommend.”

“This was Brinkley’s 2nd stay with Kyle and Desiree. It went great and Brinkley came home super tired from lots of walks and loving! We received great daily updates, and our interactions showed that they provided very attentive care towards his needs. This is a very kind family, and the communication could not be easier. Brinkley looks forward to another stay!!”

“Finley loved his stay with Michelle and her family! They welcomed him in to their home and he had a great time cuddling, playing, and sunbathing on the deck. We enjoyed receiving picture/text updates and would absolutely stay with Michelle again!”

“Joni is amazing! She provided the most fabulous care for Elvis and kept me updated on how he was doing on our long trip as he stayed in her care. She knows dogs so well and is so attentive to their needs, as well as willing to provide any kind of care I may have asked for. She even sent Elvis back with his favorite treats from his stay with her. I would ask her to watch Elvis again for sure!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Longmont
Glee did an amazing job taking care of Otis. Glee sent pictures in the morning and in the evening while they enjoyed their walks. Otis has his specific diet; like cheese and peanut butter mixed in his food and Glee made sure his meals were perfect. There would be no hesitation in asking Glee to take care of Otis again. Thanks Glee!!

Cole was very helpful when our plans changed and we needed to find somebody to board our 1 year old golden retriever last minute. His communication through the Rover Ap was awesome and he sent pictures and short updates throughout the stay. I will use Cole again when looking for boarding options next time.

Alejandra and Patrick were quick to respond to a last minute request for our two pups. They sent us pictures and updates which was so nice to see Kona and Scooter enjoying their stay. It had been 4 years since they were left with a pet sitter (other than family members)so they were a little anxious and not eating much but Patrick and Alejandra were loving and attentive to them. They took them on walks and cuddled with them, their pup Maya was super friendly and calming for my pups. They have a great backyard and their home is relaxing and inviting. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for the best pet sitter.
Kody is the absolute best!!! He was very accommodating & quick responding…and our pups LOVED his house! It’s setup as doggy heaven! A big massive backyard for the pups to enjoy, endless doggy beds etc etc! When I picked them up, they didn’t want to leave! Lol. My pups will definitely be back! I felt very comfortable leaving them with Kody!

Tucker has stayed with Charlotte several times and she takes super great care of him. He had an allergy flare while there and we had forgotten to send his allergy meds. Charlotte picked some up for him and also offered to take him to his vet for us. Thankfully, the meds did the trick. We really appreciate her care for him!

Alex took wonderful care of our sweet border collie Tessie! Communication was great with updates and photos. Alex followed our instructions on Tessie’s care and feeding and we felt extremely comfortable leaving her in his care. Tess was a bit stressed and anxious due to the 4th of July fireworks and Alex handled the situation perfectly. We look forward to booking with Alex again. Thank you, Alex!

Our dog felt no separation anxiety under Khristina's care. Even more important, Having a senior dog with special diabetes care needed, we were confident all would be well managed when we left our pet. It requires attention, walks, feeding and timely injections all needing done correctly. Khristina without hesitation helped our dog thrive while we were away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
