“Paisley always has a full day with Joanne. The dogs are all well cared for, walked, playing in the yard, hiking by the river, or passed out . P You s always happy and sleepy. Joanne has a a blessing!”

“Kyleigh was fantastic with our dog, and he's not the easiest dog in the world to manage. He came home tired and seemingly happy - a perfect combination! We'll definitely be using Kyleigh again!”

About: I have cared for dozens of dogs, cats and pets over the last 25 years. I bring a calming, grounded energy and an intelligent, thoughtful approach when caring for animals. I am self-employed as an insurance broker and can work from anywhere with cell service/internet. This gives me a ton of flexibility with scheduling and availability. I work closely with pet owners to follow specific care instructions and take their personal preferences very seriously. I understand that pets are part of the family and have their own unique routines, needs and care requirements.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood, starting with training and walking my first dog, which helped me develop patience, consistency, and a strong understanding of trust. I later co-parented a high-needs dog, gaining experience with behavior management, individual care needs, and medication administration. Throughout my life, friends and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals, and I pride myself on being dependable, calm, and attentive. I also live an active lifestyle and would love to bring your dog along on hikes or outdoor adventures if that’s something they enjoy. I currently work part time in a hybrid role, and I love to fill some of my time caring for pups! I can’t wait to find out how I can support. My clean and spacious home is the perfect landing space for your pup between walks, potty breaks, rides around town, higher intensity hikes, or whatever activities your dog enjoys the most. Your dog will have the freedom to roam where they please, sit with me on the couch, or insist upon another walk. I pride myself on my attention to detail and risk management when it comes to any environment your dog and I are sharing, while optimizing fun and enrichment. Conveniently located next to a trail and several parks, we will have no shortage of excellent places to jaunt and play!
“Sarah was so accommodating and attentive to Wylies needs and our crazy schedule. He loved her family and her dog Maple they had the best day ever. We will definitely book again, we know he is in a great care while he is with her!”

About: I'll keep it short and simple. Looking after your furry kiddos should not cost you an arm and a leg, these other prices are insane! I'm experienced and known for my TLC of the furry babies. I can look after the small and medium sized ones. I promise to send you lots of pictures and videos. I promise to keep them safe and well fed. I have one small dog that does not bark or growl, very friendly, and 2 cats who usually keep to themselves. With 3 little ones of my own, pet care is a must. I love them to pieces and they usually take priority before my own needs. Honestly we relax most of the time. My kiddos are adult aged and enjoy a good cuddle with nice long naps in between. Oh and watching me cook food is one of their favorite past times.
About: My goal is to give you true peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your dog is safe and well cared for. I provide a loving and fun home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard that’s perfect for playing outside, soaking up the sun, and getting plenty of fresh air. There's also a park nearby for regular walks. Briscoe, my Jack Russell mix, is always excited to make new friends to play tug-of-war with him or chase squirrels in the yard. Inside, there’s always time to unwind with cuddles on the couch after a fun day of activity. Because my work schedule is flexible, dogs are rarely left home alone. And if I do step out, it’s never for long stretches. Your pup will get consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout their stay. My work schedule is flexible and my husband works from home 3 days a week. Meaning someone is almost always home to keep the dogs company. As an anxious pet parent, I know firsthand how nerve-wracking it can feel to be separated from your dog, so providing peace of mind is always my top priority. I follow each pet’s routine closely, maintain a secure environment, and make sure they get plenty of supervised play, exercise, and affection so their time away from you feels safe, comfortable, and fun.
“Highly recommend! My puppy Arrow spent a day of daycare with Lauren and Luna and she had the best day! Lauren sent me multiple video and photo updates throughout the day and I could see that Arrow was so well taken care of. This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

About: Grew up with Rusty, Fifi and Rocky. My kids grew up with Scout. Precious visits from Chloe, Lexi, Lilly, Joey, Forest, Katie, Cowboy, Kiah, Riggo and other dog friends. I have also provided medication including injections as needed. I’m an active retiree with a dog door to fenced yard. As a triathlete I thrive on exercise. Outdoors in my nearby parks + dog walking = 😊Glee I treat clients dogs as if they’re my own. I send frequent photos of our activities. I always consider their safety and the wishes of the people they live with. I watch two dogs at a time if they come from the same home. Otherwise only one dog at a time. Even though I do not have children in my home I do want for my grandsons (5&7) to be safe and comfortable visiting at times. Therefore, I choose not to watch dogs that do not do well with children or if the owner is unsure about their dog with children. I regret to mention I would not be willing to watch pit mixes. I’m sure many are wonderful dogs. I just can’t take the chance. Thank you for your understanding.
About: I have been taking care of pets for over 20 years, watching them for friends and family as well as taking great care of my own family fur babies. I have a park nearby in a safe neighborhood so your fur baby will get lots of exercise. I am also available to watch them in your home if you prefer. I am currently working part time from home so I am conveniently available days, nights, weekends or whatever is needed to fit your busy schedule. I have a fenced small yard, plenty of areas to walk and play close by, and my house is clean, childproof and safe for pets.
“Khristina and Sven are amazing! They responded our messages almost right away, and gave updates and photos of our dog from time to time. Our 1yo dog appeared to have a really good time in their place, as he returned home with little energy left (a plus for us!) We definitely will reach out to them again when we need help!”

“Ben is awesome! Super responsible, easy to communicate with and has extensive dog training experience. All of which means that we 100% trust him to take care of our dog and also provide enriching activities - leaving us with a tired and v happy dog at the end of the day!”

“Christine was fantastic and Lulu had a great time playing with Hondo! Lulu is a very anxious dog—Christine was understanding of her needs and Lulu warmed to her within just this first daycare visit. I’ll definitely be booking again and grateful to have another spot where I know Lu will be happy and wonderfully cared for.”

“Alix was great with my dog Uri! She made sure to have a meet and greet and learn about Uri and all her quirks. Uri can be really shy and anxious in new surroundings but Alix made sure to understand all of her needs and kept me updated on how she was doing. Highly recommend!!”

Kyleigh was fantastic with Winston, and I can't recommend her enough. Winston is a rescue beagle with a bit of a sensitive history, so I always make sure to walk sitters through his background before booking — Kyleigh listened, understood, and it showed in how she cared for him. She sent photos and videos throughout the stay, took him on walks, and clearly gave him individual attention rather than just letting him blend into the pack. Her backyard setup is great — she spends real time out there with her own dogs and the dogs she's watching, and Winston got to socialize and play with the other dogs the whole visit. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. It's obvious Kyleigh does this because she genuinely loves dogs, not just as a side job. I'll be booking with her again without hesitation, and I've already passed her info along to Winston's family since she's so close by
Katrina watched my pup Monty for 10 days while we were away on a family vacation. She sent photos and a message or two everyday and our dog was played with everyday including time with other dogs. He was in great spirits when we came back. Will definitely remember her for future out of town needs. Great job Katrina!

Mariah was amazing with my dog Zorro, and saved the day with a short notice booking for dog sitting. She was very responsive when we were planning, and she really put me at ease with dropping my sometimes anxious dog with her. And she sent many wonderful photos during his stay. I can't thank her enough for get help and the great care she took of my dog.

Anna was amazing with my puppy, Luna! You can truly tell she cared for her and made sure she had a great day. She provided updates and pictures throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I really appreciated the communication and attention to detail. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!

Brittany and Matt are absolute gems—I can't recommend them highly enough. Winston is a special-needs beagle I rescued from a research facility, and he came with some baggage—mainly separation anxiety. I was upfront about his history and challenges, and Brittany and Matt didn't just accept him; they went above and beyond to make sure their home became a safe, welcoming space for him. They took extra time and care during the introduction process, worked patiently with his anxiety, and now? Winston gets excited when he realizes he's heading to their place. That's not something I take lightly—it means they've genuinely earned his trust. Brittany and Matt are attentive, communicative, and clearly love what they do. Princess Peach and Zach are great companions for Winston, and the whole setup just works. If you have a dog with special needs or behavioral quirks, these are the people you want. They're not just watching your dog—they're caring for them. Winston is lucky to have found them, and so am I.
Second booking with Ellie for my elderly Chihuahua. Cocoa instantly was at ease at her house again and the pictures Ellie sent showed Cocoa snuggled up on an electric blanket all warm and cozy. It's so nice to know she's being cared for but someone that will show patience for a blind pup and be comforting for a pup that was previously abused. Cocoa is very comfortable and happy there.

Lauren’s warm presence helped our dog feel comfortable right away! She’s also attentive to details, regarding scheduling (for the Meet & Greet) and regarding our dog’s safety in her yard and with her sweet dog who is much bigger than ours. We have such peace of mind in leaving our dog in her care!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
