“Heather always does a wonderful job taking care of my little guy. If you’re in need of a pet sitter I highly recommend her services. I know my guy is in good hands with Heather and I never have to worry about being away from him.”

“Shelby did an excellent job watching our Chloe while we were out of town . She took her on walks and outings and sent updates with videos and pics. We didn’t have to worry while we were gone and that was a comfort. Shelby is very friendly and her own pups, Rin and Cleo, were great with our Chloe and it was nice that she had other dogs to play with since she is our only pet at home. Before leaving Chloe we were able to meet Shelby and Rin to make sure it was going to be a good fit and we were not disappointed. Thank you Shelby!”

“Lilly was amazing while watching my dog Reeses. My fiance and I went to AZ for 5 nights to get married, and Lilly made it so that we weren't worried about Reeses at all. She sent a picture everyday with an update of how Reeses was doing. Lilly made sure Reeses felt like it was her home as well an was very patient with her. Before I decided to book with her, I wanted to make sure Reeses and her dog Luna got along so she agreed to meet with me at a dog park so the dogs could meet, and we could meet. Luna is wonderful with other dogs and took on the bigger sister role for Reeses which is exactly what she needed. I would definitely recommend booking with Lilly and I will be booking with her in the future.”

“My two had an absolute blast hanging out with her pup. She was great at communicating and sending lots of pictures which I really appreciated and was also super understanding when issues arouse. Definitely will be visiting her again”

“10 star sitter!! Kenny loved his stay with Taylor. She was very communicative & sent us several updates and pictures over our weekend trip. Thank you sooo much Taylor!!”

“The most caring, attentive, communicative and easy going sitter I've ever had. She sent photos, status updates and when Zaya wouldn't eat (because she was so nervous to be away from home), she asked about ways to entice her to eat and successfully got her to gobble up her meals. And when my plans changed last minute, she was able to accommodate us for an extra night without any issues. Very grateful to have found a dedicated sitter I can trust so much 🥰”

“Jamie has watched over Shiro a couple times now and he loves coming over to her house! She does a great jobs of taking care of Shiro and really eases our mind when we’re on a trip”

“Claudia's a great sitter and our two dogs (a corgi and terrier) had a good time staying with her and her family. Very accommodating ensuring everyone got to meet in advance and get along. Also plenty of happy-dog photos and updates throughout our trip; always appreciated. Highly recommended for your pup(s)!”

“This was the second time Curtis and his wife took care of our dog, Bono, and once again they were amazing. They treated him like their own and gave us complete peace of mind over the holidays. We came back to a happy, relaxed dog. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust them again.”

“Samantha is wonderful! She truly cares about animals and she was excellent with communication. Most importantly, our dog had a great time with her. I recommend Samantha if you need a dog sitter 😊”

“Our dog had the best time staying with Meghan and Hakon! They made our time away from our pup easy with updates, photos, and genuine care for our dog. We felt confident she was in good hands!”

“Our dog had a great time at Kimberly. We received a lot of updates and photos. It was our first time using a dog sitter and Kimberly made the experience seamless. She was also very flexible with the drop off and pick up. We will definitely come back ;-)”

“We recently relocated to Colorado and came across Emily profile. Emily was absolutely fantastic! She looked after Lola like she was her own. We were updated daily with pictures. Lola got a UTI while we were abroad and Emily look her to our vet with no hesitation. I am so thankful to have found Emily, we will be using her going forward.”

“First time using the Rover app. It was a great experience and I’ll definitely book with Jed again! Finn had so much fun and that gave me so much peace of mind! Well taken care of and happy pup!!”
“Melissa is the absolute best! Roo loves staying at her house, and we know she is always taken such great care of. We had some last minute issues come up before our trip and Melissa was extremely understanding and accommodating.”

“Donaji was the best person to keep Scout for 2 nights while we were in the Denver area. She was quick to respond to our request and was great with Scout. Our pup takes 2 seizure medications and is fed 3 x a day. She took great care of her and I would gladly recommend her.”

“One of the best experiences we’ve had with a pet sitter! She was so attentive to everything we had to say and very willing to keep up our dog’s routine while she stayed there. Our dog tends to have separation anxiety when we travel but she did absolutely amazing during her stay with Lisa. She also sent lots of pictures which we loved!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brighton
This was our first time using Rover so we were a little nervous. Shelby was quick to respond to our inquiry and our messages. She put our minds at ease and especially when we met her for the Meet and Greet. She took great care of Remi and sent us an update every morning and whenever we asked. There is a reason she has a five star rating. We will definitely be repeat customers!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
