Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. I have had many beloved pets growing up, including; cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hedgehogs. Caring for animals has been my life-long ambition. In addition to caring for my personal pets. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years.

I don’t even have words to describe how disgusted and disappointed I am! We hired Jamie to watch our animals while out of town over a few days. She stated several days after we left and we’re out of the state that she got into a car accident and was no longer able to complete the job. Later that day, she said she had a rental car and would be able to complete it. We came home several days later to the most heartbreaking situation. Our dog looked like he hadn’t been checked on in days and was locked in his crate, covered in his own bodily fluids. His tongue was hanging out of his mouth, completely dried and unable to even function to drink water properly we took him immediately to the emergency vet and he had to get IV to pump fluids in since he wasn’t able to hold it down I do not believe that she checked on them for several days. She also continued to send the same pictures over and over again, which I didn’t realize until later, taking screenshots and saw the exact same picture was being sent multiple times not only do we have potentially thousands of dollars in medical expenses, severe trauma for our four legged family member, but we still are unsure if he will ever be the same again. We are completely heartbroken, and I cannot believe that someone that claims to love animals would ever put any animal through this. We trusted her to take care of them and she failed us and she failed our copper. Do not under any circumstances hire her! I thought I could trust her because I had hired her once before for three days if she’s capable of doing this to our animals, she’s capable to do this again!

A typical day
A walk with your dog is an excellent exercise in socialization. She will get to know all the sights and sounds of her neighborhood by meeting other people and other dogs, encountering small animals such as birds and squirrels, and becoming familiar with common noises. Cars, motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards, horns, lawn mowers, you name it – the more your dog encounters on her walks with you, the less likely she will be scared or nervous of new sounds in the future.
