I love animals, back home I would get up early to take my dogs for walks and feed the cats, sometimes feed my horse early in the am! About: I've been caring for dogs for 5+ years and have 3 years of professional boarding experience through Rover. My 3 year old Border Collie mix, Lyra, has been my best teacher. she's helped me learn how to manage high energy personalities, read canine body language, and understand what different dogs need to feel comfortable. About: I have owned dogs for over 20 years with care from all ages of the lifespan. Dealing with mostly boxers so I can easily deal with the energy or hyperness that your dog might have.I work from home so I am always readily available for your pets needs at anytime of day. Since I know how to read dogs and work with them consistently, I always incorporate training and good habits into a walk. Before I leave, I check that doors and gates are secure, confirm collar and leash fit, check ID tags, and make sure water is filled. I’ve worked with food motivated, play motivated, and praise motivated dogs, and adjust my approach to what works for each one. My walks stay consistent, using positive reinforcement, and allowing for plenty of “sniffari” time for enrichment. On days over 95F, I’ll swap the walk for a drop-in instead, to keep the dog safe from the heat.

About: I’m reliable, attentive, and enjoy pets of all ages and energy levels. I focus on communication, so you’ll always get updates and know your pet is in good hands. I work Monday through Friday and am typically off around 4:30pm, which gives me plenty of time for evening and overnight pet sitting. I’m also available early mornings (before 6am) and fully open on weekends and holidays. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routines—feeding times, walks, any special instructions provided, etc. I keep things clean and calm, give lots of love and attention, and always make sure your pet feels secure while you're away. She unfortunately had cataracts at age 2 (had surgery and can still see now) so I am experienced in administering eye drops and oral medication on a schedule. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I will bring my son with me on drop in visits and walks. I will gladly schedule a meet and greet prior to the dates needed to make sure I am compatible with your pup and they can tolerate my little one.
