About: I have over two years of experience working at a dog boarding and grooming facility, caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm also a pet owner myself with two dogs and a rabbit, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I love animals, back home I would get up early to take my dogs for walks and feed the cats, sometimes feed my horse early in the am! About: Like many, I grew up with a dog. But now I have the joy of training my own sweet 3yr golden as my own service animal. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen with public access. Before I leave, I check that doors and gates are secure, confirm collar and leash fit, check ID tags, and make sure water is filled. I’ve worked with food motivated, play motivated, and praise motivated dogs, and adjust my approach to what works for each one. My walks stay consistent, using positive reinforcement, and allowing for plenty of “sniffari” time for enrichment. On days over 95F, I’ll swap the walk for a drop-in instead, to keep the dog safe from the heat.

About: I've been caring for dogs for 5+ years and have 3 years of professional boarding experience through Rover. My 3 year old Border Collie mix, Lyra, has been my best teacher. she's helped me learn how to manage high energy personalities, read canine body language, and understand what different dogs need to feel comfortable. She unfortunately had cataracts at age 2 (had surgery and can still see now) so I am experienced in administering eye drops and oral medication on a schedule.
