I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet mom with a home full of personalities - including 4 dogs (Great Dane puppy mixes, a Great Pyr mix, and a senior pittie who keeps things interesting) and 3 cats. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and routine. I am used to managing multiple pets with different personalities, feeding schedules, diets, and energy levels. Safety, consistency and comfort are always my priority. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, fresh food & water, meds if needed, and love! About: Hi! I'm 19 years old, and I've never known life without pets. Because of that, I understand how stressful it can be to leave your furry friends behind when you're away. I've cared for pets of all kinds throughout my life, cats, dogs, exotic pets, etc. I think what makes my care unique is my personal love of each pet. No matter their breed, size, or personality, I'll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I work part-time as I’m currently an online college student so plenty of time will be devoted to your pets! I am flexible when it comes to relocating to fit your pet’s needs! I live in an apartment with a spacious area to walk around outside and a dog park! I have one senior cat I rescued that sleeps all day in his cat tree. About: While my experience caring for pets professionally is limited, I worked in healthcare for a short stint out of high school, delivering medical oxygen supplies to peoples homes, and setting up the equipment for patients. One of my favorite parts of the job was when the patients had pets! Frequently, their pets warmed up to me as soon as I was welcomed in to do my work, which would always brighten up my day. Of course, I have pets myself. I've been caring for my cat, Winslow, for about a year and a half now. He's fantastically affectionate and he's been an excellent companion in my home. I also help my parents with their cats, since I live with them at the moment. As one last note, at my last job I attained a CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Human focused, of course, but I stilled learned the signs of a crisis in living beings and what to do when life hangs in the balance. I hope never to have to use said skills, but if a pet has a delicate health situation, I am equipped to get them the help they need if things take a turn for the worse. I am between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is about as open as it gets. I have my own responsibilities to tend to with my cat, but my parents can take care of him if your furry friend needs me around all day. First things first is a meet and greet to make sure your pet is comfortable around me. Once your pet and I have made each-other's acquaintance, we'll talk about how you usually go about caring for them yourself so we don't throw a wrench in their habits. If you're having me spend time in your home, we'll talk about how you expect me to conduct myself while house sitting.

About: I currently own 2 cats but I've taken care of a variety of dog breeds since I was young as I grew up with dogs. From Saint Bernard's and Chows, to pomeranians and chihuahuas. I am personally experienced with medication administration for both cats and dogs. Oral and injection. I also have taken care of other animals such as, chickens, horses, turtles, lizards, and even a snake! Im happy to take care of anything around the house that is needed as well! I'm using Rover as a way to pay off student loans! I have a flexible day job during the week, perfect for drop in visits as I run around to various locations! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, my days are wide open so I'm able to be eith your pets as much as needed. I will do everything I can to make sure any routine for your furry friend is kept in place while you're away. No food routine or ritual is too complex. When I work I am home by noon to give potty breaks and lots of love and attention! My back yard is a nice fenced yard for safe play time and potty breaks. We go on at least one walk in the morning and I have a large yard with a privacy fence for additional exercise and potty breaks throughout the day. The rest of our day can be easily modified to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I have a large fully fenced yard as well as several nice parks near by that we love to walk around. Keeping things fear-free as much as possible is a priority for me. I like to keep things calm, relaxing, and easy or neutral. When I meet them for the first time during the meet & greet, I wait for them to come up to me. It's what they are comfortable with. This helps everyone establish trust and familiarity. My hope is that I can be your go to whenever you need companion care. Sometimes, I use miracle tones to help with fear, it is soothing and calming for all. Wildlife or "Pet" TV is a great option to add to their environment while you are away as it helps them feel less alone and gives them something to interact with. I like to stick to a rhythm or routine. As I enter their palace, I introduce myself gently by using a high pitched soft tone and a treat. Then, I let them sniff me out before they welcome me through. Any grievances? No siree! Next, I like to start feedings and medications after activities. But, I take it at their pace. Afterwards, I will take care of cleaning & notes before my departure from their palace. About: Not only have I worked at PetSmart in the past, I have many years of experience caring for many breeds of dogs, cats, loveable rodents, amphibians, birds, reptiles, and fish. Besides taking a stroll with your four paw kiddos if you need someone to pop in to check on your critters I’m your gal. I won’t shy away from what needs to be done. Including scooping the litter box, giving medications, assist in cleaning up accidents, and playtime. And I always carry a pet first aid kit just in case. Any instructions that you as the Pet Parent provides will be followed exactly.
