About: I live in a very full and very happy home of five rescue doggos and a cat-that-thinks-she-is-a-dog. Needless to say, I juggle many different personalities, needs, and quirks every day. I feel most fulfilled getting to know animals for who they are and building trust at their own pace. I use positive reinforcement and pay close attention to behavioral cues, especially with dogs who are anxious, fearful, or need a little extra patience. I have hands-on experience managing multi-dog dynamics, including situations with food or fear aggression, so I’m very intentional about following each pet’s specific routine and your instructions. Alongside pet care, I’ve spent nearly two decades teaching dance to all ages, which taught me how to corral a group of strong personalities. The skills translate well: patience, awareness, and keeping structure and calm when things get a little unpredictable. At the end of the day, I treat every animal like a whole little person—just one who might occasionally eat something they absolutely shouldn’t. I keep a flexible schedule and can accommodate a range of routines. I book thoughtfully so I can be fully present, reliable, and consistent for your pets. About: I've been around dogs my entire life, it was a staple growing up having multiple dogs around me. From pet sitting, training puppies to adults, feeding and bathing them regularly, I know the importance of making sure they are well cared for. You will know from the body language of a dog if they are truly happy, and that is what makes me feel happy. I am currently a post college graduate so I have the time and energy to care for your pets at any day's moment. I am a night owl so I am flexible regardless of your pets schedule! I have two dogs and one cat in my house. My cat stays in a separate room while my dogs roam the house with a fenced yard. I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet mom with a home full of personalities - including 4 dogs (Great Dane puppy mixes, a Great Pyr mix, and a senior pittie who keeps things interesting) and 3 cats. Safety, consistency and comfort are always my priority. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, fresh food & water, meds if needed, and love! About: I’ve worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility and I have had lots of experience taking care of dogs as I’ve had many of my own since I was a child. I’ve had puppies, elderly, small, large, and disabled dogs. I have experience with large dogs as well as high energy (as I have a Malinois/shepard mix) and pulling on leash. I have pet sit prior to using rover and am determined to give your dog an experience to remember and for you too! I currently work as a nanny during the mornings and early afternoons (typically until 3:00–4:00 p.m.), but I’d still love the opportunity to work with you if we can find a schedule that fits both of our needs! I’m excited to help however I can, so please let me know if there’s a way we can make it work. I look forward to hearing from you! My calender should reflect my un-availability at minimum. If you have any questions, please message me as I am flexible and will accommodate where possible. Keeping things fear-free as much as possible is a priority for me. This means, I won't push your pets boundaries if they won't push mine. I like to keep things calm, relaxing, and easy or neutral. When I meet them for the first time during the meet & greet, I wait for them to come up to me. It's what they are comfortable with. This helps everyone establish trust and familiarity. My hope is that I can be your go to whenever you need pet care. Sometimes, I use miracle tones to help with fear, it is soothing and calming for all. Pet TV is a great option for their environment while you are away and a new person is in their home too. I like to stick to a rhythm or routine. As I enter their palace, I introduce myself gently by using a high pitched soft tone and a treat. Then, I let them sniff me out before they welcome me through. Any grievances? No siree! Next, I like to start feedings and medications after activities. But, I take it at their pace. Afterwards, I will take care of cleaning & notes before my departure from their palace.
