About: I have always been around animals, never in my life have I not had a dog. Growing up I volunteered at the local animal shelter walking, training and taking care of the animals there. Once I got my own car I started sitting for friends and family. As a massage therapist I took animal massage courses in school, I am very comfortable handling animals. I love being outdoors and active, I am very excited about being a dog walker. In my home we are very relaxed, allowing our pets lots of room and freedoms to play inside and outside in the fenced yard as well as lounge on the couches and pet beds. We don't use crates or keep animals separated unless instructed by their people, we like for the dogs to be together and play with eachother! That being said, we do have spare rooms for pets that have social anxieties. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pups! When I work I am home by noon to give potty breaks and lots of love and attention! My back yard is a nice fenced yard for safe play time and potty breaks. I have 2 dogs to keep your furbaby company during their stay. Crates are available if preferred for alone time or night time.

I grew up with a bunch of pups running around (although I do not have any of my own now) and I have been sitting through Rover for over 8 years, so I have a lot of experience to bring to the table :) I have lots of experience with rescue pups (including any quirks that they may have because of this) as well as elderly pets who require extra attention, meds, specialized care, etc. I'm happy to work with you to provide the best care to your fur babies while I am watching them. I know different dogs and even different breeds can have wildly different needs and my goal is to keep them as calm and happy as possible while you are away. All my services are in your home only, including day care. Drop ins are for visits less than 1 hour (sometimes multiples per day), Day Care is longer visits (usually between 4-8 hours per day) but no overnights and housesitting is full time, 24 hour care including overnights. ***Rover has taken away full autonomy of our calendars. The Rover calendar only shows approx 80% of my housesitting availability. To see all available days (I update frequently), please look under "Availability" I freelance so I can work from home (aka right from your couch or home office.) As long as you can share your wifi password, I can be with them as needed. I can easily make sure I'm there to check in on them/work around their schedule. During our meet and greet, I'll ask all about their daily schedule so I know how to best care for your fur babies during my stay. For example, in the winter/cold months, walks will primarily be done around mid day when it is warmest and during summer, walks would be done early or late to avoid the hottest times of the day. “We loved having Jen take care of our dog, Yoshi! We were concerned with leaving Yoshi, anywhere, because he is older and needs some special care. Jen assured us she would take good care of him, and she did. She provided lots of updates and pictures of Yoshi while he was there. Jen's dog is a sweetheart and obviously used to having other dogs around so was great for our dog. Her whole family was very nice and accepting of Yoshi. I think Yoshi had a great time staying with Jen. We can't thank her enough for taking such good care of him!”

About: I've been caring for dogs for years and have a real knack for reading them - their moods, their quirks, their needs. I'm especially good with herding breeds that need someone who understands how they think. My clients tell me their dogs light up when they see me. I'm reliable, communicative, and treat every dog like the beloved family member they are. I work from home, so dogs get real attention throughout the day, not just check-ins. I have a big backyard perfect for play and downtime, and my own well-trained dogs are great company for visiting pups. My yard is fully fenced, and I do a meet-and-greet before any booking to make sure dogs are comfortable with each other and with me. I keep a close eye on behavior throughout the day and reach out to owners with updates and photos so they're never left wondering. If something seems off (appetite, energy, behavior) I don't wait to mention it. I've spent years learning to read dogs, and I take their safety and comfort as seriously as their owners do.
