About: I have always been around animals, never in my life have I not had a dog. Growing up I volunteered at the local animal shelter walking, training and taking care of the animals there. Once I got my own car I started sitting for friends and family. As a massage therapist I took animal massage courses in school, I am very comfortable handling animals. I love being outdoors and active, I am very excited about being a dog walker. In my home we are very relaxed, allowing our pets lots of room and freedoms to play inside and outside in the fenced yard as well as lounge on the couches and pet beds. We don't use crates or keep animals separated unless instructed by their people, we like for the dogs to be together and play with eachother! I grew up with a bunch of pups running around (although I do not have any of my own now) and I have been sitting through Rover for over 8 years, so I have a lot of experience to bring to the table :) I have lots of experience with rescue pups (including any quirks that they may have because of this) as well as elderly pets who require extra attention, meds, specialized care, etc. I'm happy to work with you to provide the best care to your fur babies while I am watching them. I know different dogs and even different breeds can have wildly different needs and my goal is to keep them as calm and happy as possible while you are away. All my services are in your home only, including day care. Drop ins are for visits less than 1 hour (sometimes multiples per day), Day Care is longer visits (usually between 4-8 hours per day) but no overnights and housesitting is full time, 24 hour care including overnights. ***Rover has taken away full autonomy of our calendars. The Rover calendar only shows approx 80% of my housesitting availability. To see all available days (I update frequently), please look under "Availability" I freelance so I can work from home (aka right from your couch or home office.) She doesnt eat much, and barks all night but not this time! She didn't lose weight, slept and got all kinda of walks and cuddles and I got to relax on my trip because I could tell she was happy and relaxed! Definetely going back thank you so much Meagan!!!”
“This was Ruby’s second stay with Kim and her son, and her first time staying overnight for > 1 day. This was a great opportunity for our puppy to socialize with other dogs. Kim provided daily updates and was flexible as we figured out how to make Ruby’s first long stay comfortable. Ruby is still working on her crate training and seems further along now than when we dropped her off. It’s clear Kim took care of Ruby as if she were her own dog, which kept us at ease while we were out of town.”
