“Keandra did great! Arrived on time, took both dogs for the allotted time and they came back ready to nap! That’s what we want! I have one dog that can be reactive and she handled him well! Will book again!”

“Coral is a sweetheart and my pets loved her. She was flexible, respectful, responsive and available to walk Lucy at the last minute due to a change in our work schedules. And though that’s all I hired her for, she also paused to pet my kitties and share updates on them as well which was much appreciated during my long days at work. When the need arises again I will for sure ask her to come back.”

About: I grew up around many animals (dogs, guinea pigs, birds, turtles, and cats) I currently have two dogs of my own, and I love taking them to the park and playing with all the dogs there. I’m happy caring for pets, my neighbors and friends also trust me to walk and care for their pets. I’m currently doing a full-time externship, but I have Thursdays free, Fridays after 3 PM, and weekends available. I’m happy to care for pets during these times and give them plenty of attention, walks, and playtime. I provide walks, playtime, and supervision at the pet’s home. I make sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy while they are in my care.
About: Family and Neighbors have relied on me to take care of their varieties of pets since I was 7, from feeding, walking, and snuggles to administering different types of medications. I have a deep care for animals and take their health seriously. I work from home and can mostly make my own hours to be flexible around your preferred times for me to come by to check in and care for your pet. I can approach your pet however you’d prefer and make sure they are secured safely upon my leaving whether that is kenneling or just locking the house door behind me.
About: I provide attentive, Active & Reliable pet care. have owned dogs for the last 15 years, and have two active dogs of my own. I have cared for colleagues and friends' dogs, with experience caring for senior dogs and training puppies. I have flexible hours in my full time job and work from home 2-3 days per week. I love to be active so any excuse for an extra walk is welcome ;) Drop in visits and dog walking are preferred but I can provide house sitting or boarding with advanced notice. I am attentive and active, and love a detailed care list to follow!
About: I grew up in a house full of animals—big dogs, little critters, and everything in between! My family raised a golden retriever, German shepherd, and currently four huskies (my parents are crazy), so I'm very comfortable with high-energy breeds and strong leash manners. I’ll make sure your babies feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. :) I am a nurse on Monday, Tuesday & Fridays but free every other day of the week, I love watching your babies on my off-days :) I love walking miles each day and am up for whatever hike your dog prefers. I can drop in to give your cat some cuddles any time of day. However you prefer me to handle your fur babies, I will do so. Fenced-in park, go on the trails, stay in your yard, stay in the home.. I will care for your pet wherever you need.
“Charissa went above and beyond caring for my little, energetic puppy. He had a fun time and was nice and tired afterward which is a true testament to her dedication and care. My puppy at points can be so energetic it can be exhausting, but Charissa constantly played with him and gave him lots of love.”

“Eric is way more than I expected. I haven't used others to walk my dog, but I just had major surgery and had no alternative. Callie anxiously awaits Eric's arrival and is so excited to go with him. It makes my heart sing. He clearly understands dogs.”

About: I go the extra mile because I care. I love anyone’s animal like it’s my own. I've had animals since I was born. Dogs, cats, horses etc. Anyone who's ever seen me work with animals says how naturally it comes and sees the genuine love I have for them. Whether you have a senior pet who needs extra TLC, a youngin whose hobby is testing patience, or anything in between, I'd love to give them the best care possible while making your life easier. I train horses and dogs (hopefully for a living one day) so any challenge or task brought up, I can handle. Neighbors and friends are always asking me to take care of their pets and I'm excited to help every time. I love communicating and connecting with owners and I do art & photography as well so making pet art pieces/photos are something that brings me joy. I currently work a flexible part time gig, approx. 9am- 12pm daily except Monday & Thursday. My schedule is ideal to work around you and your pets' needs! I have plenty of space for your fur baby to get comfortable in my home along with a big fenced in yard, a safe pet abundant neighborhood to walk in, and park right down the street. I do not have a crate available but could transport yours if need be. A shih tzu and a dachshund live here as well but can be separate from your pet. In your home, I'm extremely flexible and would love to cater to your pets needs and routine in the comfort of its own home!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
