Throughout the day, they kept us updated with plenty of photos and made sure Percy was entertained and comfortable. With his medical needs, including medication administration, they were attentive and thorough—we could tell he was in great hands. “Ciara was awesome caring for our puppy. This was our first Rover experience and our puppy’s first experience staying away from home. Everything went great and our dog had a great time playing with Ciara and her dogs. We will definitely be using Ciara again in the future and highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 7 years and have loved every minute of it. My miniature schnauzer, Charlie, has been part of my family for 7 years, and my newest addition, Billie, is a playful rescue who loves making new dog friends. Both of my dogs are very friendly, social, and enjoy having other dogs around, so I’m used to hosting multiple dogs in my home for family and friends. I have experience walking dogs, providing overnight care in my home, and pet sitting in clients’ homes. I’m also comfortable caring for puppies and helping reinforce potty training and good routines. I personally provide all care for the pets staying with me. I’m home four days a week, so your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while in my care. I love taking dogs on walks and, when appropriate for their personality and your preferences, bringing them along on adventures like hikes. Whether your pup enjoys playing, exploring, or relaxing, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home during their stay. I’m home full time Friday through Monday, which means your dog will have plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I work from home on those days, so I’m available to stick to your dog’s normal routine and provide lots of care and supervision. Tuesday through Thursday, I’m available part time for dog walks, drop-in visits, feeding, potty breaks, and check-ins in your home. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for supervised play and a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for walks. While your dog is in my care, I’ll make sure they have plenty of opportunities for play, attention, exercise, and relaxation. I have two friendly, playful dogs, Charlie and Billie, who love having canine companions to play with. I personally handle all introductions and always take the time to make sure every dog is comfortable before allowing them to interact. Whether your dog loves to play, go for walks, or curl up for a nap, I’ll keep them on their normal routine and do everything I can to make them feel safe, loved, and right at home.
“Josslyn was great. I highly recommend leaving your fur baby with her. She kept me updated with lots of pictures throughout the day and my girl seemed pretty happy. The whole time will definitely be seeing her again. Her pups are super adorable too and very well behaved.”

“Available pretty last minute and SO accommodating!! LOTS of photos and updates! Big play area with doggie friends! Patient and kind with our rescue dog with a history of severe physical abuse and a LOT of fear/abandonment anxiety. You can tell Carrie truly loves dogs and the dogs can tell too ❤️ Will DEFINITELY hire Carrie again ? (We are usually so worried to take our dogs anywhere else, and we can't leave them home alone... so we end up not being able to do a lot of things. This was so reassuring that we will be a lot more free!)”

“Andrea and Pumpkin were great! We were able to do a meet and greet with them a few days before my dogs dog day care stay, which was very much appreciated! Andrea provided updates and pictures throughout the day and was very accommodating for my dog. Thank you again Andrea!”

“Apple was great with our dogs, Jax and Lola. She came to our home a day before our scheduled drop off to meet them. My dogs instantly connected with apple and her daughter. I received pictures of how our dogs were doing during their stay. When I picked them up they seems happy and in good spirits. Thank you Apple for taking such great care of our loved ones.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was a young girl and truly love being around animals. While I only board dogs in our home, I’m also happy to care for cats in your home.I accept dogs of all ages as long as they are house-trained. I specialize in caring for low-shedding or non-shedding dogs, but I’m happy to chat if you’re unsure about your pup’s coat type. As a stay-at-home mom, I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I enjoy going on walks, and we live near a dog park for pups who like to get out and explore. We have a friendly 20-lb Cockapoo girl who would love to meet your dog. We’re always careful during feeding times and keep dogs separated to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. My kids (ages 11 and 15) are confident, gentle caregivers and are great at giving individual attention—especially if your pup is feeling a little unsure while away from you. I also have a dog-proof run that’s accessible through a dog door from our living room, plus a secure backyard where I can play ball and hang out with your dog for extra space to roam. Our family has used Rover sitters in the past for our own beloved dog, so I understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable with your sitter. I truly want to go the extra mile to make your dog feel safe, happy, and loved while in our care. I’m home Monday through Saturday nearly 24/7, aside from short errands. On Sundays, I am out of the house for a few hours in the morning. If your pet prefers not to be left alone, they’re welcome to come along with me. Your dog's comfort is my top priority. I work hard to provide a safe and clean environment. I can administer medications as long as thorough instructions are given. I am happy to bathe and brush your dog. Based on your dog's energy levels and your expectations, I am happy to walk him/her multiple times a day. Your dog has access to the dog run through the dog door. I can let them out into the back yard as well if they need more space. We live close to a dog park that I'd be happy to take your pup to if they love dog parks. We have a 20lb cockapoo pup who looks forward to meeting your dog. I do separate the dogs if we leave to run errands just to be extra careful.

“Trixie has so much fun going to see Amelia and playing with her 2 dogs. I get pictures throughout the day, and Trixie is so happy and also worn out from playing when I pick her up. Great sitter!”

“George and Abigail are fantastic dog sitters. You can see they really love all dogs. Our dog Luna can be timid, but she gets so excited to go to their house. Her new besties are Mac and Gus, their dogs. She has a great time playing all day. I would highly recommend them for any type of Pet care !”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Windsor
We are so grateful we found Katy! She helped us out on short notice and took such great care of Summit and Saint. The moment we arrived, they leapt out of the truck and ran straight to her front door- clearly excited to be there - and immediately started playing with her sweet lab. I stay to new friends! Katy kept us updated with lots of happy puppy photos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. They came home happy, tired, and clearly well-loved. We’ll definitely have Katy on speed dial!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Windsor commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
