I can also provide photos and messages so you can see how happy and relaxed your furry friend is.
“Andrea cared a lot about Cooper and was super attentive to him, especially while he was in the yard outside. He was able to relax in and out of her house on his first visit which is a rare sign as he almost never relaxes when we visit friends.”

“Laurel and her family had been excellent caretakers for Russell and Maggie. She was super accommodating and kind. It was comforting to know my fur-babies were in such good hands.”

“Erin was such an amazing dog sitter! My old guy can be a bit anxious & picky with who he feels comfortable with, and Erin was absolutely wonderful with him. She’s very communicative, shares photos throughout the stay & is mindful of their individual needs. We will absolutely be booking again!”

“No wonder Brenda has so many repeat clients! She’s wonderfully responsive to both me and my pet. Kept in touch with me thru the day with pictures and feedback on how my dog was doing. Will definitely use her service again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs help!”
“I cannot be more pleased! What a wonderful experience for Millie and me! My pup was in great hands with Kyle & Desiree from the very beginning. I had frequent pics and updates ensuring Millie was loved and cared for. And I nice little touch with a photo and kind note when I unpacked her bag. WOW….very special😊. We hope to see you again soon. Thank you for helping me have some mom time and for peace of mind while my Millie was in your care.”

“Ciara was awesome caring for our puppy. This was our first Rover experience and our puppy’s first experience staying away from home. Everything went great and our dog had a great time playing with Ciara and her dogs. We will definitely be using Ciara again in the future and highly recommend her.”

“Hillary and her family were absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have ask for anything more, excellent communication and the sweetest pictures and updates throughout the day. We knew our lil guy was in great hands! Would recommend 1000%”

About: Growing up, I had all kinds of animals- dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish- but there was always a family dog. In our house, we now have two friendly and sociable pups of our own- Whiskey, our old grump, and Tennessee, our little snugglebug. We believe in humane training and unconditional love in this house and have welcomed many dogs into our home in the past. My husband and I both work from home, so there's always someone on site to make sure your pup is safe and loved on. We have a fully fenced yard ready for zoomies and play situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood perfect for walks. We'd love if you'd join us! Both my husband and I work full-time with flexible home office, so there's always someone on site! We go for walks and play around in the yard on a daily basis. We have a fully fenced (6 ft) yard and two friendly dogs. Dogs are just as welcome inside as they are outside, with covered couches and cozy beds around the house.
“Jen was excellent. She was prepared for our visit and sent us lots of updates throughout the day. She took such excellent care of our puppy. We will definitely use her again. She is lovely.”

About: Your dog won’t just be watched—they’ll be genuinely loved and cared for. I know how hard it is to leave the one you love with someone else, and I take that responsibility to heart. I’ve owned seven dogs of my own, so I understand their needs, personalities, quirks, and the deep bond we share with them. I have a huge yard and plenty of open space for long walks, playtime, and even swims. My own dogs walk about three miles every day, and visiting pups are welcome to join in the fun. I’m experienced with administering medication and handling special diets, and I’m happy to care for more than one dog at a time—as long as they’re comfortable around other dogs, since I have two friendly pups of my own. Most of all, I treat every dog as if they were mine. I’m a true dog whisperer and unapologetic dog fanatic, and your pup will feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I am open to hosting your dog at my house for sleepovers any day of the week. My husband works from home and I work from home 2 of the 5 days, so someone is always available to watch the pups Our home is completely dog-proofed, so curious noses and wagging tails are safe indoors. Outside, the entire yard is fully fenced, giving your dog plenty of room to run, play, and explore—without any chance of escaping. You can relax knowing your pup is secure at all times, both inside and out.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Timnath
Saint & Summit did not want to leave! Darcy and her family took wonderful care of my boys. I could tell they had fun and were loved and cared for. Happy to hear they made a new friend with Darcy’s pup, Colonel. They came home smiley and tired which made me super smiley!

My mini Aussie spent a night with Tim and she seemed to have a great time. Tim clearly is great with and very knowledgeable about dogs, and was someone I was immediately comfortable leaving my baby with for her first night with him. He has a nice backyard setup for the pups to run around, and I like that he seems to often petsit more than one dog at a time so that my girl can make friends and find comfort in other dogs during her time with him. I would definitely recommend Tim after my first experience. Thanks, Tim! :)

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Timnath commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
