“Sophia took great care of our pets and we really appreciate her! She was also super flexible and was available on short notice so will absolutely be messaging her again for our pets in the future! Thanks Sophia! :)”

“Claire was so great with our two little dogs. She was super attentive and communicative, and I felt so comfortable being out of town and having her come and check in on our dogs. I would highly recommend her for anyone and will be using her again in the near future.”

“Devin was a great sitter for our dog. After losing two pups in a three month span we were very worried to leave one dog alone. Devin made us feel comfortable that he was well loved while we were gone!”

“erin is great! she’s very nice and messaged me back quickly. my cat kept going to her for pets even though he usually takes a while to warm up to people. he must have sensed good vibes. it was a relief to know she was checking on them while i was busy. i would recommend her :)”

About: I have experience with puppies and kitties and have also cared for those in their golden years. I looked after a senior dog that had congestive heart failure and would give that dog medications daily. While watching your pets, I love spending time with them doing simple training, either teaching them manners or keeping them from peeing in the house! I'm switching jobs so not working right now but would love to spend my time working with your pets. I'm free in the afternoons after 12 into the evening until 8. I'm not able to work Sundays. I would only be able to watch over your pet at your home. I live in a small apartment and feel like most pets like the safety of their own home while their people are gone!
“Lindsay was amazing! We had her drop in on our three cats over our wedding weekend, and she handled our chaotic scheduling and miscommunication better than we could have ever asked for. She was fantastic with updates and keeping us posted on how things were going. Thank you so much, Lindsay!”

About: Hi! I’m Hailey, and I’d love to care for your pets like they’re my own. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m a dependable homeowner in Fort Collins with a flexible schedule outside of work, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, lounging on the couch, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to match their routine and personality. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering oral medications if needed, cleaning litter boxes, feeding according to your schedule, senior care, and making sure your pets get plenty of attention, not just the basics. When I care for your pet, you can expect: * Plenty of love, playtime, and affection * Photo and video updates so you know they’re doing well * Reliable communication and quick responses * Respect for your home and your pet’s normal routine * Clean food and water bowls, fresh litter boxes, and lots of attention I believe consistency is important, so I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walks, or house sitting, I’d be honored to help. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I do have a cat of my own so typically I will go feed her on my own at to work after getting my morning started at your place. I work from 8-5 or 9-6 M-F and can step out during lunch to let a dog out to potty. On my way home from work, I will typically go feed my cat and then come home to your place to finish the night. On weekends, I like to spend a few hours at home with my cat keeping up on personal household tasks. Typically from 10 to 4 I care for pets by feeding them, walking them, letting them out for potty breaks, and playing with them. Always making sure they have plenty of water and their needs are met. If I’m staying at your home, my goal is to make it look like I wasn’t even there, or make it look better than when I arrived. I like to get my sheets and towels washed and put away before you get home. I also like to have the trash taken out and all of my dishes, washed and put away. I will do a quick vacuum, and will send you a text as soon as I leave the house. When you return from your vacation/ trip, I want you to feel like you can relax and not have to clean your house up after my stay.
“Hillary is amazing. My pup unfortunately had a couple accidents while Hillary did a drop in visit and she didn’t hesitate to help out and clean up the mess. Truly above and beyond. She always sends a pic of our pup which just makes my day every time. She’s so great with him. 10/10 would recommend Hillary!”

About: What sets me apart from others is. I am outgoing, caring and love to provide care to animals as I would my patients. I dedicate my time and am always on time. I am available anytime after 10AM. I am also open to discussion for other hours. I am pretty flexible with anything you may need. Like giving medication, etc. I treat my pets with the most respect and love. I would treat your animals the same as I would mine. I spend time with them, feed them, walk them and play with them.
About: Hi! I’m an adult Rover member, but all pet care is provided by my responsible and experienced daughter. I am an animal lover with 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, rabbits, quail, and chickens. From daily feeding and playtime to cleaning coops and giving lots of cuddles, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. What sets me apart is my real passion for animals — I grew up helping with our family's pets every day, so I bring patience, responsibility, and a gentle touch. My mom (the adult Rover member) oversees everything, but all the day-to-day care comes from me because I truly love it! I am a student, so I am more available during the summer months on weekdays and on Saturdays and Sunday evenings for walks and visits, 8am, 11am, 3pm and 6:30pm. During the school year I am available in the evenings and Saturdays and Sunday evenings I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved by following their normal routine, giving them plenty of attention, fresh water, exercise, and playtime. I also carefully follow any instructions from pet parents, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and special care requests. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I treat them like they're part of the family and always put their safety and well-being first.
“Meghan was so great with our senior guy!! He really didn’t want to go outside because of the snow, and she was so incredibly patient with him. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I highly recommend booking with her if your looking for quality care for your fur-babies!!”

“Our two cats do not get along. Despite their territorial spats, Patrick has somehow managed to get our trouble makers to play nice! I am astounded to come home from our trips to find the cats as best buddies. Our home is automated for food and water, but the mental stimulation from quality playtime is something you cannot simulate from a machine. According to our two cats, they give him 4 paws up! You can expect from Patrick a sitter that follows directions, thoughtful comments, excellent photos, and reliable availability. Thank you!”

“Kathy really helped us out last minute by coming over a weekend we were out of town when our cat unexpectedly needed medicine applied daily. Thank you Kathy, we can always count on you!!”

“Lauren provided great communication while taking care of our dog. Lauren made an effort to build a genuine connection with her. Lauren even went the extra mile during her drop-ins to make sure she was calm and safe during an evening storm. We look forward to using Lauren’s help in the future!”

About: I have had my own dog and taken care of pets of all breeds and sizes ever since I was a kid! From extended stays to one time drop-ins, I have experience in anyway you would want your pet to be taken care of. No matter if they are a puppy, adult, or a senior, I will always be their best friend! I work from home with a flexible schedule so I am available for all requests! Mornings, midday, evenings, overnights are all available on both weekdays and weekends! I am in an apartment with 1 very friendly Australian Shepherd! To properly exercise both the physical and mental aspects of our pets lives, I love to take them on many walks and trips to nearby parks as amazing ways to stimulate their body and brain! Inside the home, playing with favorite toys, performing skills, and endless pets are great ways we love to continue having fun without being under the sun!
“Shannon was beyond amazing. It was our first time using Rover and I have never felt so comfortable with someone at our house. She responded so quick, sent a ton of pictures and she even wiped our dogs paws from the muddy snow! I think our dog was actually bummed when it was us that came home and not Shannon. She gave her so much love and attention! We will definitely rebook her again.”

About: Hi, I'm Erin (or Rin to my friends) and I love animals of all kinds. I would be absolutely honored to have the opportunity to take care of your fur baby for you. I have an extensive history of pet sitting, fostering, rehabilitation, and minor training. I was raised by a k9 union military police officer and was taught how to train and care for dogs at an early age. During my adult years I fell in love with cats and have been involved with many rescues and foster groups over the years. I even had the joy of being a caretaker for a colony of cats several years ago. I've also harness trained cats and gotten them trained to go on walks too. I do freelance work from home, so as long as I have access to the Internet I'm able to work from anywhere, giving me plenty of time to spoil your fur baby. I am a work from home freelancer, so as long as I have internet access, I can do my work from pretty much anywhere - which means that I can provide care and adequate supervision for your pets. Though I do have a few cats myself, my roommate watches her while I am on an assignment, so there are no distractions that will get in the way of my caring for your animal(s). I prefer having meet and greets prior to assignments, so that I can ask a list of questions I have prepared in advance regarding your animal's required care. For example, I may ask about: - Temperament - Feeding Schedule - Medications - Allowed on Furniture? - Emergency Contacts & What to Do in the event of an Emergency - Potty Break Schedule

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
