Pet care experience
Old pet-sitter back in the game
Hi, I’m Luiza. I grew up as the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood all through school before I left for college (which explains the “4” listed here—everything I did back then wasn’t official). I’ve spent time with both cats and dogs throughout my life, and currently have a spunky chihuahua rescue at home. I spent time caring for my senior Yorkie prior to her passing last year, and a few months later adopted our rescue chihuahua who came with her own behavioral quirks. Helping both dogs through their unique challenges gave me experience in the past year taking care of both younger and older dogs, meeting them where they are. I’m comfortable with: • Oral and injectable medications • Puppy pads and diapers • Potty training • Senior pet care Services I offer: • Dog walks • Drop-in visits • House sitting in your home I rent an apartment and don’t bring pets into my building, so all care happens in your home to keep things stress-free and consistent for your pet. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, send updates, and make sure they get plenty of attention while you’re away. Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to learn more about your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of potty breaks, walks, and attention, and keep their living space clean. I’m attentive to any medications or special instructions, and I always do a quick safety check before leaving to make sure doors, gates, and food items are secure.
Ratings and reviews
Luiza was fantastic! Very responsive, provided lots of photos and kept me in the loop. Super appreciative of her help! Will definitely be reaching out to her again 🐶

Luiza cared for my senior dogs who had slowed down and had health issues, including blindness. She was wonderful with them. Always showed them love as soon as she walked in the door, gave them attention and lots of pets, and kept them on their strict eating schedule. My oldest was insulin dependent and she was sure to have him eat first and then gave him his injection. It was very comforting to have someone with experience in giving medications, even injections, to stay with them and promptly report at each visit with photos to ease my mind! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Schedule
I’m a graduate student with a hybrid schedule. I currently work-from-home for the summer. I work part-time, and I can set my own hours, so I’m able to work pet care into my day without a problem
