What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep background in dog care, training, and animal handling. I was a Certified Junior Showman of Dogs through the AKC, and I have extensive training in dog training through 4H and other training clubs. I have personally trained dogs in obedience, agility, and hunting, giving me a strong understanding of canine behavior, discipline, and enrichment. In addition to training, I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, goats, and fish. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including seniors and animals that require medication. My experience with both short-term and long-term pet sitting has taught me how to keep pets happy, safe, and well-cared for while their owners are away. I take pride in providing reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate care, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own.

I treat every animal as an individual, with their own unique needs, routines, and personality. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and consistency. I carefully follow all care instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special routines the pet is used to. For overnight stays and in-home care, I make sure pets feel secure and relaxed by keeping their normal schedule as consistent as possible. This includes regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also ensure the home is kept tidy and secure, bringing in mail or packages if requested, and keeping owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I always create a calm, safe environment where pets can feel comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away.

This was our first time using Emma and hope to continue to. She took great care of our pups and they warmed up to her quickly. She sent us loads of photos and updates which we loved. Thanks.
Emma has been great with Bosco, and we appreciate her patience with him. We get daily updates and photos from walks, and she has developed a trust with our pup so he's comfortable and happy when he's out for walks in the neighborhood. Emma is also very punctual and has been great with communications.
Emma was great with our girls. She stayed in communication with us and sent us lots of updates and cute pictures while she was here. We will definitely have stay with our pups again!
Emma did a great job watching Rex and our house. The house was clean and tidy, and Rex was happy. She even managed to brush him (something he absolutely hates)! She was quick to respond and did a great job sending updates and pictures. I took one star off as she had a friend over when we had asked that no one besides her kids visit.
Emma has become quick friends with Bosco and is always patient with him being timid before walks. She sends updates and feedback about Bosco's demeanor daily, and we really appreciate all of the photos and updates. We would recommend Emma to provide pet care for your furry friends anytime.
I scheduled an hour dog walk for my dog, Maizie, for 4:00 PM (adjusted from 5:00 PM at the sitter’s request). The sitter arrived much earlier than the agreed time and left after roughly 30 minutes, not completing the full hour. Despite this, the Rover card reflected a full hour of service, which was not accurate. I rely on sitters to follow agreed schedules and provide honest reporting, and this experience did not meet those expectations. I would not book with this sitter again.
