About: I have experience with puppies and kitties and have also cared for those in their golden years. I looked after a senior dog that had congestive heart failure and would give that dog medications daily. While watching your pets, I love spending time with them doing simple training, either teaching them manners or keeping them from peeing in the house! I'm switching jobs so not working right now but would love to spend my time working with your pets. I'm free in the afternoons after 12 into the evening until 8. I'm not able to work Sundays. I would only be able to watch over your pet at your home. I live in a small apartment and feel like most pets like the safety of their own home while their people are gone!

About: Hi! I’m Hailey, and I’d love to care for your pets like they’re my own. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m a dependable homeowner in Fort Collins with a flexible schedule outside of work, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, lounging on the couch, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to match their routine and personality. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering oral medications if needed, cleaning litter boxes, feeding according to your schedule, senior care, and making sure your pets get plenty of attention, not just the basics. When I care for your pet, you can expect: * Plenty of love, playtime, and affection * Photo and video updates so you know they’re doing well * Reliable communication and quick responses * Respect for your home and your pet’s normal routine * Clean food and water bowls, fresh litter boxes, and lots of attention I believe consistency is important, so I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walks, or house sitting, I’d be honored to help. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I do have a cat of my own so typically I will go feed her on my own at to work after getting my morning started at your place. I work from 8-5 or 9-6 M-F and can step out during lunch to let a dog out to potty. On my way home from work, I will typically go feed my cat and then come home to your place to finish the night. On weekends, I like to spend a few hours at home with my cat keeping up on personal household tasks. Typically from 10 to 4 I care for pets by feeding them, walking them, letting them out for potty breaks, and playing with them. Always making sure they have plenty of water and their needs are met. If I’m staying at your home, my goal is to make it look like I wasn’t even there, or make it look better than when I arrived. I like to get my sheets and towels washed and put away before you get home. I also like to have the trash taken out and all of my dishes, washed and put away. I will do a quick vacuum, and will send you a text as soon as I leave the house. When you return from your vacation/ trip, I want you to feel like you can relax and not have to clean your house up after my stay.
“We had such a great experience with Susan while she watched Bodhi and Chloe! She was communicative, reliable, and clearly cared so much about our dogs. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands, and it was clear Bodhi and Chloe were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We would absolutely book Susan again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of our pups!”

“Rory was fantastic! 11ish days with my temperamental chi and his 4 kitties... I will definitely be keeping her on my shortlist for future trips! Rory sent pics and videos during my trip to help ease my anxiety of being away from the babies. I can tell my brood had a good experience!”

“Nicolas watched our cat and snake while we were off getting married/on honey moon and did a fantastic job! Our cat seemed so much less stressed than he usually is when we get home from even a weekend away and we were gone for almost two weeks! Got consistent check ins and pictures. Came home to a nearly empty treat tub so we know the cat was well loved on, the snakes humidity was properly maintained, and the house was clean! Cannot thank Nicolas enough for the peace of mind he provided so we could truly enjoy our honey moon.”

“Aaron was an absolutely STELLAR friend to our animals for what was actually quite a hectic time in our lives. Between a recent move, starting new jobs, getting married in 7 days - she was an excellent communicator, retained information about our pups and their routine like a pro, and even left our home better than she found it. My (very large, young, high energy, anxious) dogs have been through a lot of transitions in the past couple of months and when we came home they were more relaxed, happier than I’ve ever seen them after a weekend away. HIRE HER NOW!!!”

My experience with Luiza was exceptional. My boxer is has separation anxiety when I leave, but Luiza was able to make him feel at ease and he was eating well within a day. She stayed overnight for several days and was extremely professional. I received daily updates and photos. I would highly recommend her.

Emma sent lots of photos and I could tell that my pups were happy and well cared for. My younger dog is quite anxious and Emma noticed some inappropriate chewing and contacted me to see if that was normal for her or not, wondering if she was feeling anxious. I really appreciated her attention to that detail and her communicating with me about it. She did a great job!

Trey was easy to work with and took great care of our boys while we were gone. He even went the extra mile and took out our trash, hid treats around the house for our boys (that he brought), watered our garden, AND left us a gift of handmade soaps, etc. from his company. Top notch sitter!

Sarah recently cared for our dog and house sat. We couldn’t be more pleased. This is the first time we’ve left our pup since she lost her buddy a couple of years ago. Sarah regularly communicated and sent pictures, reassuring us that things were going well. We could really enjoy our time away knowing that Sarah was there. Thank you, Sarah.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Timnath walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Timnath maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Timnath choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
