“Emma was great. We have a finicky dog and she was very patient while he warmed up to her. She even went on a second walk with both dogs after the finicky one decided he actually DID want to go on a walk. She communicated throughout the stay and sent lots of pictures. Will definitely have Emma house sit for us again.”

About: Hi there! I'm Elisa, a dedicated veterinary student with over a decade of animal care experience. I hold a Bachelors degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences from Penn State University and I'm currently pursuing a dual Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Masters in Public Health program at Colorado State University. I’ve spent years working with animals in all kinds of settings—from shelters to emergency vet hospitals. I’ve worn many hats in the animal care world, including volunteer, veterinary assistant, receptionist, and technician. I’m also pet CPR and first aid certified, and I’ve completed dog and cat handling training through Providence Animal Center in Media, PA. Whether your pet needs a calm and capable sitter, a midday break, or just some loving companionship, I bring a high level of care, reliability, and compassion to every visit. I treat every pet like family and strive to create a safe, positive experience for both animals and their people. Let me know how I can help your furry friend feel at home while when you’re away! As I pursue my studies to become a veterinarian, I’ve made time to be available for your pet’s needs. For the Summer 2026 season, I have open availability! If there are specific dates you are looking for, feel free to send a request to ensure they are not booked by another pet parent. For overnight petsitting, I can accomodate pets that require lots of care and attention. However, I do not believe I would be a good fit for pets that cannot be left alone for less than 4 hours a day. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I stick closely to their usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medication, so they feel secure even when you're away. I take time to get to know each pet's personality, preferences, and needs to provide personalized, loving care. You can also trust that I’ll treat your home with the same respect and care I give your pet.

“Lewis was outstanding! We needed pet care at the last minute to travel out of town for a family funeral. Our dog is older and on special medicines. Lewis came for a meet and greet on short notice and took great care of our dog giving him all of his meds. We felt confident that our dog was well cared for and we had at least daily updates with pictures. We will use Lewis again in the future!”

“Teresa took such amazing care of my animals! She stayed in our home, communicated with us, sent lots of pics and made us feel so comfortable leaving town knowing our pets would have the best care! Would book again”

“Coral took very good care of Cookie. Coral gave us daily updates and even gave us an overall update. Coral was communicative and paid close attention to detailed requests. She took care of our place like it was her own and when we got back it was the same as when we left.”

“We had such a great experience with Susan while she watched Bodhi and Chloe! She was communicative, reliable, and clearly cared so much about our dogs. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands, and it was clear Bodhi and Chloe were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We would absolutely book Susan again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of our pups!”

“My husband and I planned a vacation and our normal sitter was not available. Becca was used as a Dog Sitter for one of our neighbors so I knew she was reliable. I have never had used any one off Rover for an overnight stay at our house with our dog so I was very nervous, especially since this wasn’t a one or two night trip, we were gone for five nights. I had a lot of anxiety about leaving him with someone new, but I felt very comfortable once I met Becca and felt she was going to do her best while taking care of my dog. I left detailed notes which might have been too much but Becca understood that I was just trying to keep my dog on his schedule and comfortable. Becca sent lots of photos and updates about my dog daily which really helped put me at ease. Becca helped me enjoy my vacation worry-free with her communication and updates! I had no issues and my dog loved her! She’s communicative and super sweet, I can’t wait to use Becca again! I highly recommend Becca 🙂🫶🏼 ⭐️”

“Kirsten is great with our dogs and is incredibly thorough. She makes sure to update me daily and even left detailed notes for each day that she watched our pups. I've used her multiple times and will continue to do so!”

“Kelly stayed at my house with my 13 year old border collie for two weeks. She did an excellent job! My border collie was having some health issues and Kelly was on top of everything. Plus this sit was over the holidays and Kelly made it work for all concerned. The house was very neat and clean when I returned home. My puppy was happy. I would definitely use Kelly again.”

“Hannah was wonderful with our two dogs and two guinea pigs! She sent lots of pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She also left our house in just as good condition as when we left it. After a previous bad experience with another sitter, we were honestly nervous about leaving our dogs again, but Hannah completely put our minds at ease. We came home to happy pets and a well-cared-for home. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her!”

“We love Jade, she takes great care of our boy. He is always a happy boy when she watches him, gets lots of walks and attention. Jade is great at keeping us updated on his status and takes good care of our home.”

“Samuel did a great job with our pets. He was very responsive whenever we reached out. Pets were well cared for and our house was in great shape when we returned. He is knowledgeable about pet sitting. I would recommend him in the future.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Autumn watching our dog, Bandit. We came home to a clean & tidy place plus one happy pup. We appreciated receiving pictures, reassuring that bandit was having a great time and looked content. We would absolutely recommend Autumn’s services and look forward to booking again in the future!”

“Dana was absolutely amazing with taking care of and loving our Henri! Henri tends to be a nervous whiner, and in all the pictures she consistently shared with us he was on walks, and happy, and looking like he made a new best friend with her dog. I will absolutely reach out to Dana again if we need any assistance with boarding Henri while we are gone. Thank you so much Dana for allowing us to enjoy our trip and see that our Henri was well taken care of and happy. 🩷”

“Ashley was wonderful watching our dog Hazel and tending to our house. This was my first time using Rover and she made it a great experience. Throughout our trip, she reached out with any questions and provided updates and pictures. As others have mentioned, she also laundered her bedding and towels and cleaned the house. All of her efforts with our dog and house were very much appreciated. We definitely hope that she will be able to dog and house sit for us in the future!”

“Ella was incredibly communicative throughout her time watching my fur child, and was responsive and flexible when I needed to modify the booking. Will definitely be continuing to use her in the future!”

Sarah recently cared for our dog and house sat. We couldn’t be more pleased. This is the first time we’ve left our pup since she lost her buddy a couple of years ago. Sarah regularly communicated and sent pictures, reassuring us that things were going well. We could really enjoy our time away knowing that Sarah was there. Thank you, Sarah.

This is the first time I've used Rover, and having someone staying in my home made me a little nervous. But when I met Beth (and daughter!), I knew my dog Yedemi would be comfortable and get great care. She is 12 years old and doesn't hear well, but I'm sure she enjoyed her daily walks and lots of pets. Beth gave me updates and was always quick to respond to texts. When I came home after 4 days away, my house was in perfect order, and my dog was content. Thanks, Beth!!
