“Owen seemed very happy when we returned home from our vacation. However, there were a few hiccups. Amanda asked questions regarding medications, despite having been sent a detailed two page instruction set twice and she did not acknowledge that she received them. There was also an incident after playing fetch that two tennis balls were not retrieved promptly from Owen; one went under the bed and another one where the dog ripped into a tennis ball, which could have meant an emergency visit to the vet if he ate it, and it would have taken the owner 2 days to return home. Fortunately, Amanda removed the damaged ball, though only after explicit instructions to do so.”

About: I provide comforting care when you can't take your fur babies with you. I give peace of mind so you know your pet is having a positive experience with me and that your home is safe and secure. I understand that each pet is different and has routines and needs of care which I will always follow. Having had pets of my own, I appreciate the individuality of each animal and feel confident in giving them the space they need or the affection they desire. From me they will always get what they need and feel cared for. I have had the opportunity to care for large and small dogs, a cat who people were afraid of but who eventually happily coexisted with me. I work full time as a remote worker so I can provide in home pet first care with ease. My work and schedule is flexible, which allows for pet care to be added into my day with little disruption to me or the pet. When I am with a pet in their home, their routine and needs come first. Besides the instructions or guidance I am given about the pet, I observe and engage with the pet to learn about them and make them comfortable and happy while I am in their home.
About: I’ve always taken care of dogs by word of mouth for friends and neighbors. I’m a nurse, so very comfortable giving any medications needed, and I have taken care of special needs and elderly pets. I work four days a week. Close to home so on the off chance I’m working I can always do a mid day potty break and walk. I’m off all weekends with my 6 year old girl. We are very active and would love to take your pup on adventures with us, or just be lazy and snuggle at home with them. I have a small fenced backyard and have watched many dogs here. I usually do at minimum one walk around the neighborhood a day and then time in the backyard. I can also stay in your home over the weekend if needed. Also very open to weekend dog walks.
