“All is simply amazing! She took care of our two dogs while we were out of town for three days and she was with them all the time and gave them the best care ever! She followed all instructions to a tee and we could relax 100% knowing our dogs were in the best hands. She will be our go to for sure ☺️👌”

“Holley was amazing! She watched our dogs and home for 10 days and did an awesome job. Great communication, and left our house super clean. Our puppies were happy as well. I would absolutely work with Holley again, highly recommend her!”

“Brooklyn has been amazing in caring for our dogs, cats and guinea pig. We have used her for many walks And now a multi day/night trip. She kept us updates and stayed at our house which was a big relief to know our dogs were taken care of even during the night.”

“Sierra was very friendly and treated our dog Sadie very well. It was challenging for all of us because our dog Sadie is still a puppy of 71/2 months and we haven’t left her alone with someone else overnight. So a one night trial to see how she would cope. Sierra fairly new at dog sitting did well, our house was as we left it and Sadie had been taken good care of. We plan on using Sierra in the future for another one nighter to get our dog accustomed to being left with a sitter and we are looking forward to a longer vacation.”

“Amy was great! Was super flexible with timing and took great care of Aphra. Aphra usually has bad separation anxiety when I leave but apparently calmed right down with Amy :) Would definitely recommend, thank you Amy!”

“Mark is fantastic, he has watched our pups a couple of times now and will definitely continue to use him in the future. He is very communicative, sends pics and keeps us updated - so always feel at ease when he is taking care of our babies.”

“Andrea was great with our two dogs over the holidays! She made time to come do a meet and greet and then stopped by again before our trip to make sure our dogs would be comfortable with her staying at our house. She always arrived on time and made sure to follow our instructions. Would definitely recommend!”

“Gwen is amazing!! She took great care of our Beatrice. She also has experience with bully breeds. She kept us updated on Bea as well as the house. We would definitely recommend her to others.”

“Maya was very reliable and flexible during her booking with my two dogs. I booked her very last minute to take care of my new puppy and my 2yr old chihuahua mix. She was very communicative and sent me lots of pictures every day. My home was cleaner than I found it and the dogs were happy!”

“Bridgett was amazing!!! She communicated with us about how our animals days went and she sent lots of pictures. She took care of our home and plants as well. Bridgett really seems to care about the quality of the service she is providing AND she truly cares for animals. Rare combination these days. We’ll be sure to book her for our future pet needs.”

“Krystalena & Arryk were exactly what I needed at exactly the right time. They were flexible while I solidified my travel plans. They understood my scatter brained communications. They took excellent care of my house and my boys. Would 100% book with them again!”

About: I live in a very full and very happy home of five rescue doggos and a cat-that-thinks-she-is-a-dog. Needless to say, I juggle many different personalities, needs, and quirks every day. I feel most fulfilled getting to know animals for who they are and building trust at their own pace. I use positive reinforcement and pay close attention to behavioral cues, especially with dogs who are anxious, fearful, or need a little extra patience. I have hands-on experience managing multi-dog dynamics, including situations with food or fear aggression, so I’m very intentional about following each pet’s specific routine and your instructions. Alongside pet care, I’ve spent nearly two decades teaching dance to all ages, which taught me how to corral a group of strong personalities. The skills translate well: patience, awareness, and keeping structure and calm when things get a little unpredictable. At the end of the day, I treat every animal like a whole little person—just one who might occasionally eat something they absolutely shouldn’t. I keep a flexible schedule and can accommodate a range of routines. I book thoughtfully so I can be fully present, reliable, and consistent for your pets. My approach centers on safety, trust, and a calm, low-stress environment. I follow routines closely, read each pet’s cues, and let them warm up at their own pace so they feel secure and understood—not overwhelmed.

About: I have been around dogs for over 20 years. I can connect with them in ways others cannot. I have never had an issue with a dog and people often tell me that dogs love me. I am currently looking to take on as much as I can! I am a runner so if your dog likes going on runs I can take them with me or if they like the slower pace of walking I can do that too. I’m a grad student so when I’m not in class I’m at home My roommate has a dog that stays in his kennel most of the day besides when he is let out and if there is another dog in the house that I am watching over they stay with me in my room and typically never leave my side

“This was my first time using Rover. Jenn was awesome! She kept me in the loop each day via text messages and photos of my "kids". I came home to two very happy dogs and I could not even tell she had been there! I highly recommend Jenn if you don't want to worry about your sitter. Tweet”
About: I have worked for a company called Mountain Paws & Claws Pet Services for a little over 3 years. I provided in home pet care in the form of both overnight stays and drop ins. I also helped pet parents with dog walks! I have experience with all sorts of dogs with all sorts of personalities. I am experienced with high anxiety/stress dogs who need a little extra attention/warming up to new people. I also have experience with cats, and various farm animals. I would love to bring my experience and love for animals to Fort Collins! I am currently a college student, so I have plenty of time over the summer to watch your pets! Once school starts back up, I will be available in the mornings to walk/check up on your animals, and again in the early evening. I do not mind doing overnight care during the school semester. I will care for your pets in exactly the way you would like me to. I know all pets are different and need different care based on their personalities, so I will listen intently to what your pet needs/wants and perform accordingly. I will make sure that your pets feel the same love and have just as much fun as when you are home!
“Danielle was great! She stayed with my two dogs for the night. She was very flexible with her schedule and great with the dogs. Maria and Stella were very happy when we got home, which is great because my older dog used to get stressed out when she was boarded. She was very good with all the instructions I left, and I will definitely use Danielle in the future!”
“As always Patty was/is awesome. Maggie and I don't know what we would do without her. Maggie sat watching the front door yesterday waiting for her Best Friend Patty to come back! Thank you Patty for such good care you take of Maggie and our home!”

Chloe responded quickly to my need for a sitter due to an emergency. I was not able to call her until the night before and she agreed to sit for me the next morning, early, for the day. It meant the world to me to have time with my husband in the hospital, and to have my dog taken such good care of!

We had a great experience with Mark. He was communicative throughout the stay, provided daily updates with photos, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. When we got home, the house was clean and well taken care of, and our dog was happy and comfortable. We really appreciated his reliability and would happily book with him again.

Holley was wonderful! Taking care of two Brittanys is not an easy task. It's been awhile since we left our pack at home. She kept us updated and sent photos. We will be hiring her again when we need a sitter. Highly recommend her for your fur babies. I would give her 10 stars if I could. We had a few special request and they were fullfilled. Earl and Reggie even decided to sleep in her room. Thanks Holley you were GREAT!!

Jesse was wonderful overall. He took good care of our dog and kept our house very clean and neat. He was communicative and responsive. He kept us in touch about how Kipper was doing and any other questions he had about the house. I would definitely use him again as a dog sitter and trust him with our house too!

Grace provided a wonderful experience for 10 days with Jax. She provided several photos and videos of her interactions with Jax. Even taking him on a walk upon his request on a very cold day. Grace has excellent communication skills and followed my care requests carefully. I highly recommend Grace.

Andrea was great with our two dogs over the holidays! She made time to come do a meet and greet and then stopped by again before our trip to make sure our dogs would be comfortable with her staying at our house. She always arrived on time and made sure to follow our instructions. Would definitely recommend!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Loveland walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Loveland maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Loveland choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
